Great 👍 job. I've got some honey Locust wood 🪵 from my tree 🌳 can't wait to put it on the lathe I have to wait for it to dry out.

Bowl turned out beautiful. I have never had the opportunity to turn black locust maybe someday

I had never even heard of black locust but a friend of mine has a lumber mill set up on his farm and had a few pieces he gave me.

Good job! I just got a (metal working) mini lathe this past week and look forward to turning some small bowls. So far I have made some handles for Japanese knives which I restore. Thanks, enjoyed it.

I’ve been thinking about getting a metal mini-lathe, think that would be great to turn some small parts.

Lovely work. I really like seeing a younger guy using the HSS and carbide interchangeably. Too many purists out there.

I prefer to use HSS most of the time but I’ve found the harder woods I have an easier time using carbide.
