- he 2025 Hyundai Tucson, set to debut in North America, features improved performance for its hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. Both models continue to use the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, with the standard hybrid now producing 231 horsepower-a 6-hp increase-and the Plug-In Hybrid delivering 268 hp. Enhancements also include driver-adjustable regenerative braking. The hybrid models are equipped with a six-speed automatic and standard AWD. Notably, a new "Baby Mode" smooths out acceleration for gentler rides.
Externally, the Tucson maintains its compact SUV design but includes subtle aesthetic updates such as a redesigned front grille and skid plates to give a wider appearance. The interior has been significantly overhauled to mirror next-generation designs, featuring dual 12.3-inch screens housed together, Morse code "H" on the steering wheel, revamped climate controls with more conventional buttons, and a streamlined dashboard with integrated high-tech features.
Pricing details for the 2025 models will be released closer to the market launch. This update follows the previous generation which debuted in the US in 2020, with the current model sold from 2022.

I hate when they make funky wheel designs on the electric cars. Only electric cars need aerodynamic wheels? Gas cars run like tractors and they can be spared?

@@Vlad2277but how do you get to the speed to brake? Then engine. 1st law of thermodynamics. With llug in you get fresh electricity from house every time. Rather thab using your engine to go tonspeed the brake to recharge😂
