When you were doing those acceleration tests, were you in Sport mode? Wondering if that engine acceleration noise/fake shifts includes the fake audio system piped in noise? (like on Acuras and BMWs)
Yes, I was in sport mode.I think all of them are speaker enhanced now especially with better sound insulation. I should be doing another hybrid soon to confirm.
Debating between this and the touring. I feel like this has great value since the sport L has plenty of options. How good is the Bose on this model ? That’s really what I’m torn between. I love good audio but not sure if it’s worth the extra cost.
I likes the sound of vose but I am not very picky kf it comes to stereo systems, but definitely sound better than standard Honda one.
The radio is fine in the other models, but the Bose is mind blowing in comparison. My buddy has a 16 Civic with the Bose and we both agree this new one blows it away.
I miss the way the HVAC controls would backlight in blue or red depending on whether you were adjusting the temperature to cooler or warmer, like they used to in the 10th gen.
I forgot about those. Nice feature.
Result of too much cost cutting without benefit or value analysis.
Man I'm just admiring my sonic grey pearl 2.0T so much more-I have rear air vents and charging for passengers.

The air vents are probably under the front seats and charger may be inside the console, like my 2006 Honda Accord.
@@RunningAllDay4ever not sure about that. Vents should be either on the middle console or on pillars. As far as USB I don't want to open the console to look for them. Should be on the outside as well.

I just got a black EX 2 weeks ago and I love it. Personally I like it way better than the previous models because of its uniqueness and it looks more sportier. My favorite part is the thin headlights and front grill. I think people are disliking it not because they think it’s ugly but because it’s so unexpected and different, but to me it’s so cool and it is way better than the same boring models from the previous gens. Pretty soon I am gonna customize it like add a Spoiler, and stuff. I love it so much and I always cruise around in it all the time and I’m always getting stares haha.

Does the Sport-L not have the turn signals on the side view mirrors? According to the Honda website, it should have them. Although, it could be a typo.
No turn signals on the mirrors on this one.

Reason Honda needs turn signal every Cars, suv and trucks.
Good Review!!! If honda had given this car some more body lines/curves,kept the fog lights placed usb ports and vents in the back like on the 10th gen and kept the 2.0l turbo then this car would be wayyyyy better its interesting yet bland

The 11 generation Honda Accord is the best design to date, it's very stylish, elegant design.
In my opinion the LX or EX Turbo straight gasoline powered engine is your best value.
Although you're going to save more on gas when purchasing one of the Hybrid models, saving is exactly what you should be doing as repairs on the Hybrid will nearly bankrupt the average individual. Due to the high tech engineering, complexity of this Hybrid set-up you will have no chance of getting repairs preformed without returning to your local Honda dealership.
If you're someone that trades cars every 3- 4 years then go for the Hybrid as the battery has an 8 year 100k miles warranty as mandated by the Federal Government. If you're like me when buying a car, you're not buying it with the intention of trading for the next new model . I keep a car until it's just absolutely not worth putting anymore money into it.
I think Honda played it "safe" with the new design. I liked the 10th gen better especially with 2.0T
The EX-L has more options then the sport L . Rear ac and parking sensors front and rear side mirror turn signals.

I cannot believe im saying this but the amount of features for the price has gotten so low I think I might get an Altima VC Turbo. My local dealer is doing them for 34k and with 0% financing too
Are they that cold? Or are ther a bunch of fees tacked on top of that?
@@MattTheCarguy I live in a big city, I think it’s just a lot of dealers competing. You can find below MSRP on almost anything now

@@MattTheCarguy Chicagoland. Very oversaturated with dealers so prices are competitive. I think there’s 35 Honda dealers in the metro area for example

I traded in my 18 lx for a 2023 sport l. I've only owned Hondas since 99 . "99 civic si EBP"🎉🎉😢😢 "stolen". Since then have had 4 accords. 2000,06,18, and now a 2023. A great car .people are so B.S about things not being "perfect ". Accords have been great to me
I look at the "imperfect" stuff as an opportunity for improvement. Honda is a great vehicle and I have owned several including my current Pilot but they like to play it safe. I would lovw to see the 2.0t back in the lineup among other things.

While i love the new honda design, the interior somehow does not seem to be a class above the Civic for the price difference. Just too much cost cutting and boring black plastic everywhere. Should have had at the least options for a different color for interior other than black and grey. The quality and feel of interior was much better in previous generations.
