I love your voice so much, it shows how much you care about this subject. This has helped w lot with learning the differences and finding where to start. Thank you for the informative vid!!
Thank you so much for showing us the different tools, I know that there is always limited time, is it possible to tape another video with much less tools so that more time can be spent on each?. I always learn so much from the way you tape these videos. 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for your wonderful insight on different tools which are important to complete the task at hand. I have enjoy watching and learning different techniques from you.
Hi 👋 thanks for tips!! I’ve been doing wire work for years now but I have a couple QUESTIONS:: 1) would the new jewelry making clamps do the same thing as a parallel plier(I didn’t know I should have 1)?? 2) I have never lubricated my pliers before and I have some of my cheaper 1s rusting(they are still good to use for practicing with):: what kind of lubricant should I be using (I dont have a flex shaft to use the motorized tools)??? Thanks so much!! Melissa aka Made With Love 💜By: Mel from South Florida
I need to know WHAT SIZE GRIP (4.75 inch or 6.5 inch) I should get on the jewelry making tools I purchase. Is there a rule of thumb for this? When I sold my home a few years back I got rid of all my tools so I have nothing to guide me like my old favorite needle nose pliers. It doesn't look like you address this on your channel.
Hi 👋 there! It really is personal preference if you are comfortable with the feel of a longer tool as opposed to the shorter 1s then I’d say go with the longer. Btw I’d go to a hardware store 1st and measure and test the 2 different sizes of pliers so that you will know for sure which 1s to buy for your jewelry making!! 💜 Melissa aka Made With Love 💜By: Mel from South Florida
I would like a pair of metal shears like the ones you have in the video. However,... I can't seem to find them on your website. I realize the video is 8 years old, but if you don't have what you show, can you advise what to buy now. (Maybe update your video as well)
Hi There! Thanks for watching. You're right, the shears shown here aren't available anymore, but the Swanstrom Double-Flush Shear Cutters is similar (just shorter). This is the link to those: www.riogrande.com/product/swanstrom-double-flush-shear-cutters/111063 We asked Mark which shears he likes and he would recommend the Fumasi Shears, 60 Rockwell found here: www.riogrande.com/product/fumasi-shears-60-rockwell/111249 He says they may be harder to use if you have large hands, but that they're super sharp. Hope this helps!
Hi Catalina, Thanks for asking. Our mid-range pliers and cutters are best represented by the Lindstrom and Rio German brands on our website. These are wonderful tools at a fair price with lasting quality. You can see the selection here: ow.ly/Fuw430mDguB Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions about them & thanks again for watching!

Seriously, why do you need that silly woman asking (often) silly questions?
ah... what exactly is "old school" and "new school"? That statement told us absolutely NOTHING!!! Is anyone reading the script for accuracy?
