Nice ride. As for you saying you may clear over the single stage- If you color sand, like you'd do if you were going to buff it out, clearing over single stage will work fine. If you repaint it with single stage and want to clear it, just use the clear like another layer of paint. SHoot it while it's still "wet". Me, personally, use base/clear. In my experience, it just turns out nicer. Good luck and keep building!
Thank you for the info - bodywork is definately my weak point. I am likely going to wet sand the rough areas, buff it flat and then wrap it. Any thoughts?
@@BuildBrothers I've never had a wrap done. I gotta say, you can come up with some really wild designs that look amazing. Myself, I'm old school. I prefer to paint on any graphics and bury them in clear. But, if you're looking to have it wrapped, please share some pics. when you have it done. I'd love to see how it comes out. I can appreciate the work that goes into design, prep. and application of a nice wrap on a nice vehicle.
@@Mudracer41 I will absolutely record the entire process - I have done 98% of this car by myself so I will be tackling the wrap as well. I plan to go over the install and explain the challenges I encountered.
