The kids were 46 in number and the delay by the tourist agency was because they had taken the kids to a different airport hence the 2 days delay. Another ATC in Germany spotted the danger in advance and tried to call Nielsen to save him but the equipments again screwed everything.. The Kaloyeys were going to meet their father who was an architect in Barcelona

Very well narrated. They say that these accidents are normally a result of so many causes, all coming together, at the right time. One of the causes, they say, is that many of the Russian commercial pilots were crossover military pilots, who were more used to hierarchical military like human instructions over instruments instructions, thus why walilenga TCAS. Also, due to miscommunication, they were expecting the DHL plane to emerge from their right side, but lo and behold, too late, iliemerge on their left...

He tracked down and stabbed Nielsen to death, in the presence of Nielsen's wife and three children, at his home in Kloten, near Zürich, on 24 February 2004 The Swiss police arrested Kaloyev at a local motel shortly afterward, and in 2005 he was sentenced to eight years for manslaughter. But thinking about what he felt and clearly knowing the whole incident would have been avoided, Most of us would probably have made the hasty decision which he made. Partly the ATC controller pia hakuwa Rada lazima angejua TCAS had already alerted the pilots.
Wasn't sure about how long he was jailed but hio ni temporary insanity heavy heavy manenos.

I just watched this documentary today on the wonder Channel hapa TH-cam. A terrible spoiler is that the air traffic controller Peter Nielsen was killed by vitally the guy who lost his entire family. I feel like he didn't deserve what he got but this is the world we live in

Abel, you forgot the part where Peter informed the Bashkirian crew of the DHL Cargo plane that was approaching from the left and actually it was approaching from the right.
This reminded me of the Ethiopian airline crash of 2019! There a Kenyan who also lost wife, kids and mother in law coming from Canada! Can you tell us that one next time am not sure if we know what happened to that one!
That was so tragic...n one of the kids was under a yr I believe. So sad.
