I'm a very superstitious person, so I would never not take an overnight bag. I feel like that's just asking the fates to come for you. 😄 The one time my military husband didn't pack a divert bag, a massive Michigan snowstorm left him washing his delicates in the TLF (temporary lodging facility) sink for three days 🙈🤣
So enjoy your videos and loved it this time with the safety demo included too! Always look forward to your content being uploaded. Take care and thank you for sharing with us all here :)
@@LIFEbyFrancesco Thank You. The only that would hold me back would be my weight. Have you seen Flight Attendants that are not skinny? I hope that’s not an insensitive question? Thank You for the kind words @LIFEbyFrancesco.
Wow, I didn’t realize that you don’t get paid for all of your hours. My husband was a over the road truck driver and when he would have to sit in the truck and wait for the load, sometimes it would be hours sometimes it would be overnight and he always got paid and then if it was a certain time he would get overtime so I hope you are being compensated hourly because you really work hard and I think it’s a stressful job. I’m so glad I found your videos because you are amazing.
Always, always, always, bring a suitcase with change of clothes, bathing suit, toiletries with You, a Turn can become a 4 day trip if You get drafted.....it happens!
Canadian flights attendants are protesting the doors closed pay practice. Fingers crossed they can set a precedent and get it at least to time on the plane.
I totally agree! Flight attendants should start getting paid the moment that they step foot on the plane until they depart it and are no longer serving and working.
I hope you feel better soon!! I can tell by your voice that you're not feeling well. I was a flight attendant for over 20 years, so I know how bad the vocal cords get beaten up when flying while dealing with allergies.
Love the vlog! I work from LHR and live in North London. Its 07:31 now, and it's showing me 1 hr and 46 Minutes! 😫 Have a lovely day and good weekend mate
I've watched your channel for years, it's always so interesting, and yes I feel the same way about my commute. I work on a ferry, so everyday is a turn for me lol. 8 hours at sea everyday, and 40 min drive each way, I totally sympathise lol ..
My commute is 4 hours and I drive but I wouldn’t have it any other way…….. 🎉 love my job. The flashing is due to the refresh rate not a lot you can do 😜 love your vlogs x
Francesco, I came home and threw some food together and was so delighted to see your video. You are so good at your job. I watched you in the galley, you just love your job. I am surprised you are not an In Flight Manager (yet). Traffic here in Toronto is the same as in Miami, dreadful in am and after 3.30 pm. I love the way you always give yourself extra time to reach the Airport. 💗🌊🌊
Always enjoy your vids. My commute in the Washington DC area is around an hour. But if there is/was an accident it easily can stretch 30 minutes. Enjoy your Med cruise! Looking forward to seeing your updates.
I live in Los Angeles🤪. I started work at 6am, so my 20 mile commute GOING to work wasn't much of an issue. I was going opposite traffic. But, coming home in the afternoon was a nightmare and could take over an hour if I didn't get off the freeway and take the surface streets. I'm retired now, so it's all a distant memory!😊
Ah man I'm from Boston and I was hoping to see what you did while you were here. love your videos. Also I think you're on irresistible med right now. I'm going on French days. Ibiza night's on that same ship later this month have fun.
Hey there Francesco, I haven't been an FA in years but I noticed you placed all the liquor minis on a tray. No more sealed liquor kits with the little pigeon holes for each mini? Jeez, I used to hate logging all the paperwork - had this many, sold this many, this many left...lol. Great video BTW :). Keep up the good work, hope you're ok!!
Did you see the 555 over your shoulder? The number 555 is often seen as a symbol of positive change and new beginnings, as well as a message of encouragement and support from your angels. It can serve as a reminder to trust in the journey and know that you are being guided and supported on your path.
I get so excited when Francesco uploads a flight Attendant vlog😊..My only question is ,I always wondered what happens if you set up the intire galley for service before the flight ,then the flight is canceled and you have to switch aircrafts..Do you have to set up all over again from. Scratch or is the catering transfered to the other aircraft?
Setting up the beverage cart looks sort of stressful . But it also looks like the fun position ..Especially if you’re OCD. Is there a certain way you have to set it up ? Or do you add your own “twist” to it ?
Thanks for sharing. I find it interesting that FAs aren't on the clock unless the boarding door is closed. Does that mean that the galley set up is done during time in which you are not being compensated?
Regarding flight hours pay,I have my pension and another stream of passive income to ride out that frustration regarding time paid. During the next collective bargaining session, can you bargain for and extra hour or two of pay when delays occur.
Love your videos, Francesco! I do think you guys should get paid the moment you step on the aircraft, but who am I! I am flying to Spain from Charolette in June maybe you will be onboard?!
Depends a lot where do you work of for which Airline do you work. I would not say for how many hours you will get paid for and hay many you really work. It's good tho you say that, but thankfully not all Airlines are like that. In mine they give you the base salary and you work a maximal of 90 block hours in a month. But if we have delay, they count the time and give us like a profit for the cuased delay.
I hate driving to MIA especially Fridays during rush hour... always some roadrage and crazy drivers. The parking at MIA is not fun either and the spaces are super small.
can i ask a question please ? are you getting extra VAT added onto drinks prices on this cruise and can you take things like the fruit/ croissants off the ship when docked
Man I sure hope they pay you and the rest of the flight attendants $100 an hour because I have never of of an industry that doesn't pay for all of the hours worked 😱 and the NONSENSE you have to put up with from passengers.
It's called supply and demand. There are so many applicants compared to the number of FA openings each year that the airlines can establish whatever rules they want for FAs knowing that people so want that job they'll just accept those rules. Compare that to school bus drivers who get paid time and a half for any work over 6 hours in a day and the school boards still can't fill all the openings because nobody wants to do it.
The MOST interesting videos you ever do are the ones like these about your flight attendant job. Love it!!!! 👍🤗👏❤
agree
I get excited when I get a notification that you have posted! Thanks for taking us along with you on your turn around!
Thanks for taking us on your flight. Fly and stay safe. Ciao. 2023.
Watching you work made me sweat!!! Amazing how you did it all so efficient
I enjoy your posts and how you roll. It's great to travel and how you share that dynamic to make it work.
Well done Francesco! Great editing.
Thanks for sharing with us Francisco!!!

It takes me 8 minutes to get to work at the airport, loved watching you in the galley of the 737 that's my office too xx
Always enjoy your content stay as humble as you are.
Great and interesting video! Liked the new format!
Love when you show what you do in the gallery.. always wounder how they did it ..
I am a FA with your company now and I hope to meet you one day to tell you how much you inspired me by watching your videos. 😊
What a nice surprise, a Francesco VLOG I can watch during dinner. Gonna watch Coco now.
Francesco, thanks so much for filming another "galley" video. They are always interesting and appreciated. 🫂❤️✈️
Thanks Francisco for the encouraging words & updates. Always look forward to hearing from you!
Party On🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thoroughly enjoyed your turn, Francesco! 😊🧡😊💯👏
I did enjoy the video so much😂🎉that is a big workout setting up those carts, job well done ❤😊
Hey Francesco, awesome awesome vlog very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
Wow, I love it. All the other day in the life videos don't really show footage during the actual flight
Thank you for sharing! It is very informative.

Great video! I love this guy! Geezzzz!!!
Thank you for these videos. I’ve learned a lot about being a Flight Attendant. I will soon try to become one. ✈️✈️✈️
You’re welcome! Good luck! 🤗

yes most flight attendants arent making money untill "wheels up" that means the plane has departed. kinda lousy for them
Boy when you set up the carts you sure do move fast! :) Chuck / Fritz

I would love to have you as a flight attendant on my flight. I can tell you’re passionate and you do a great job. Now go enjoy your cruise!!❤️✈️🛳️
Love the music you used!
Safe travels to Spain!
Very informative video, thanks for sharing.
Always great to see your vlogs. 😊

*sigh* still waiting to see you when I board a flight... 😂.... Happy flying my friend

Ugh. Same. You never know if it will take 40 minutes or 90 minutes. DC traffic is the worst
I love your vlogs...❤
I used to drive limo and did mostly Miami and Ft.Lauderdale airport service
❤❤❤ your vlogs...hope to see you on one of my flights ✈️
The traffic is always bad on those roads short but good flight attendant 👨✈️ vlog
I was in a Miami to Boston flight last week!

That's such a long day. I couldn't do it now, especially as I'm used to working from home.

I love that! I did not notice the 555! When did you see that?
@@LIFEbyFrancesco 3:08 is when I noticed it. Over your left shoulder. 😊

I wondered the same!
So catering came and took all of the carts that I had set up and just transferred everything to the new aircraft 🤗
@@LIFEbyFrancesco ahhh..gotcha..thanks for the reply Francesco 🇧🇧🤗
I love your videos. Im a retired american airlines ramp employer
And happy pride month

It takes me anywhere from 1 - 2 hours NJ to NYC during rush hour @ 6:00 am for 24 miles door to garage.
I literally only pick up turns that are at 5:00 am report or lean overs lol
It's not all glamour, can you imagine welcoming 130+ guests to your home twice a day. Also if there is a disagreement one can't ask them to leave!!
I always thought those trolleys came already filled on to the aircraft! No idea you had to stock them yourselves😬
Regarding flight hours pay,I have my pension and another stream of passive income to ride out that frustration regarding time paid. During the next collective bargaining session, can you bargain for and extra hour or two of pay when delays occur.

Unfortunately I won’t be since I’m Miami based, but I hope you enjoy your flight!

Is there no 2R position on the 737? My airline we have a crew of 4 for each door. I found it a little weird that you didn’t have a friend at the back!
It take me 7 minutes to get to work i stay in small city Columbus, Georgia 🤓❤️
Joseph and Today 😀
Will they ever change flight attendant pay so they are paid for the work they do before the aircraft door closes?
On average, how long does it take you to prep the galley before takeoff?
Hope you r ok- health wise . Thanks for sharing us your experience and what a turn is.
I only have a 10 minute drive to work.
Rather be stuck in Boston than Miami!
What happens to all those carts you set up when you switched planes?
They got transferred over to the new plane 🤗
How long does in take to set up the galley? I guess it depends on how many passengers they'll be.
About 10-20 mins depending how organized you are
I commute from IAH to BOS … it takes me longer than 1.5 hours to get to work unfortunately 😭
That was a lot of set galley work for one person. You really should get paid from check in until the end of your last flight
So sad to hear that in the US you are not getting paid for your duty hours 😢
🤓❤️
Do you ever scared flying ?
Good grief that’s a lot of work!
😬😛
I-4 bad,I-75,bad….I-95 horrendous!!
Ugh yeah I-95 is the absolute worst!
Miami traffic is a zoo I live in Florida too my drive to work 1 hr 30
I hate that you don’t get paid in full you all do so much not for service but for safety as well
still living with your ex? or you moving to another place
1 hour+ to get to work..Argh!
That stinks!
You guys don’t need to shave before a flight? Interesting.
Do you like picking up red flag trips?
I rarely pick them up 🤗
Man I sure hope they pay you and the rest of the flight attendants $100 an hour because I have never of of an industry that doesn't pay for all of the hours worked 😱 and the NONSENSE you have to put up with from passengers.

Typical rip off by not paying properly.
