UPDATE: looks like they are already beginning to replenish their stock, as the Basic Clear is available, and the other clear ones are set to be back in stock from 4/22-4/26- so set your alarms! PLEASE watch the entire video, though! 🥰🥰
Hi, Jules! I follow your channel but I'm not sure if it's from this account or my personal. Your swirls are to die for! So glad you are enjoying the videos! Keep up the great work! 🥰
@@julessudsandsoaps my computer wouldn't let me really respond yesterday, not sure what happened. You're welcome, and thank you so much for the lovely compliments. I'm so honored that you feel inspired! Have a fabulous day! 🥰

Ms. Terry, again a beautiful soap! So glad you were allowed to dhare and I like your positive hopeful outlook. I'm sure I and many ithers really look forward to all the soap line coming back in stock and lets hope "soon" is soon😅
Thank you, Carol! Soon is definitely soon, as they now have estimated dates on their website!!! 4/22-4/26 depending on the soap type and size! Very, very exciting! 😍😍😍
Thanks for the suggestion, Denise! I may try it just for a review video, since the Crafter's Choice will be back in stock soon- I just found out AS I was posting my video. 😐Would you mind telling me what the melting point is of that soap?
I'm looking forward to your ideas on using opaque (white base) designs! I've been wondering about the upcoming availability in clear bases and am thankful for your information.
I'm excited to make those videos, too! I'm so grateful to WSP for sharing their info and looking forward to having clear back in stock. Thanks for watching! 🥰
TYFS. I really enjoy watching you make soap art! ❤❤❤ I too, love to create unique and beautiful designs...but I had to "pause" my soap business when WSP inflated their prices after the pandemic. Not to mention the 24 pound box went to 23 pounds. I cant afford it ... And that makes me sad. 😢
Thank you so much! I am really sorry about your business. I definitely had to alter some of the things I was doing in order to keep afloat. I only buy the bases when they are on sale and try to stock up. Good luck to you, and thank you for watching! 🥰
@@msTsoap I have used Stephenson's but didn't really need something to see thru.... Until I met you!! Hahaha so I wasn't sure if they had one as clear as crafters choice 😊
I also called WSP last Thursday and they told me it looks like May before any clear soap will be available. They are working with a chemist to see if they can get it figured out.
Hi Ms. Terry, Tammy from Pretty Soap Co. here. Beautiful velvet soaps yet again! I'm always inspired to make after your videos. I so want to try this technique. Do you always use a black layer for the background? I imagine the colors pop more.
Hi, Tammy! Yes, it works best with black or another really dark opaque color for the back layer. If the light shines through, the mica doesn't reflect as well. If you have any interference micas or duochrome micas, those are super cool with this technique, but any that really reflect. I wouldn't use any "matte" micas or pigments. Make sure to use some smaller particle micas (not just the glittering micas) as you may have the black show through. Also- biggest mistakes people make are spritzing with alcohol before the black layer, not making the wrinkles deep enough, not tapping out extra mica, and not pouring the black layer hot enough. While you don't want to melt your wrinkles away, it has to stick through that mica (for Crafter's Choice I usually pour at 130 F). I would LOVE if you try these 😍- and please tag me so I can see them! I also share work done using my tutorials, with your permission of course (happy to include your watermark and logo or biz info if you include that on your pic). Love your stunning work! 🥰

They came out so pretty! I would LOVE to get my hands on Mad Mica's! My mica's are not as vivid as yours!

Does Stephenson's have a super clear version that is comparable?
I use the chem store for that brand but I prefer craters choice
It's one I talk about in the video, but I don't name names. It's fairly clear but sets up very fast.
