Unpopular opinions but I found the segments where you play as Johnny the most irritating, I have V as a custom char then to be taken out of that (it was bad enough we have all this great customization but no third person but that's another rant for another time) and stuck as Johnny wasn't the most enjoyable for me, but for long time fans of Cyberpunk's world I imagine it was good and they want more.
One of the best rock bands that never existed! Straight nova choom! Samurai represent! Love the fact that Refused brought Samurai to life....Swede Punk/hardcore rock...beautiful. Dennis Lyxzén embodied Johnny's stage presence...hope they come back for Cyberpunk 2!
Refused has a MAJOR career arch. I had a VHS with them I made in the late 90's when MTV played them in-between Fear Factory and some Coal Chamber. Absolutely saw that they were doing something new and ground breaking. Johnny Silverhand reincarnated.

What an absolutely legendary soundtrack. Captures the spirit of rock and roll + early cyberpunk. Never fade away is easily one of my top favorite songs now.
Man, Cyberpunk is so much better than I thought. I hope there will be more than one DLC. Night City is such a great setting and playground for new characters and stories.
Truthfully I think it would have been cool if they had Keanu do some vocals or at least back up vocals. If he can learn martial arts and become a gun expert for a movie he can for sure learn to belt out some post-hardcore vox lol. 🤷

I gotta say, some pretty legit songs considering it’s for a fictional band in a video game! They could have half-assed it and just took the money but these are actually pretty good songs! Really adds to the immersion of the game. It’s become one of my all time favorite games. Even bought a Samurai t shirt lol.
It is the best game ever made of all time , the embiance, the immersion . . . Never felt any emotions like that in over 30 years of gaming (of course the game did have flaws , rushed , not finished or polished) but the potential of that universe is limitless (too bad they gave up on it) they already planned a sequel when that one is far from completed

Plus cyberpunk was suposed to get a multiplayer mode too but it seem we will never have it

But the launch was perfect (i dont count the bugs every game have some GTA still have tons of glitch and its on 3 générations of console) but i mean for the storyline you leave the vault after the world got nuked its NORMAL there was no NPC , you do quest (repair radio station to broadcast a message that attract survivor) NPC appear , they start to rebuild , new town and faction appear , you help them (foundation and crater should evolve and grow) you get rep with them (but picking a side should lock features from other side while you still can help both cause your neutral until you declare allegience to a faction) new zone are explorable , more content , more storyline , more quest . . . As i said that game potential is not exploited at all and could be EPIC even Legendary or beyond . . . But i played from day 1 and was there for years . . . Each update is a deception (exept the NPC arrival who was perfect as i said it fitted my expectations) foundation "boss" dialogue do not evolve its been years that all they do is working on the "pipes" for water okay a few new faces joined the town but no real noticable change occured . . . Its been months probably over a year i did not log in there (last time was around the aliens invasion event) they need to be more like a MMORPG (WoW) with instance , boss and loot . . . Not daily repetitive grinding quest like they did who get you bored quickly Edit : in fact i also loged to try The Pitt expansion but that too was a disapointement, 2 repeatable quest that did not really add anything. . . The game could be a never ending story with each update a step forward (they do 4 a year) each year could be a new chapter that the past years players action shape the world that have a real noticable change (and why not some faction get wiped out of the map if the majority nuked it in the previous year) or even faction war (PvP) between players who pick different sides ect
Every Christmas i start a new playthrough for 80-100h and wont touch it for another year. This way im looking Forward to it all the time and it wont ever get boring

Truly glad I got to see them live after reuniting as I was a big fan of their earlier music and then just seeing them getting involved with something like cyberpunk was just awesome. They’ve always been so passionate through the music they write about their political beliefs so they embody the band perfectly. PS they killed it live would love to see them again🦾

I finally got around to playing the game, and just finished jonny's ending, and once you crash the AV into arasaka's jungle floor, and get to the control pad to turn the lights off and blast samurai through the speakers. Some of the most fun I had blasting, especially considering I had a quick hack build

Between what CDPR learned with this game, and the fact that they've moved over to Unreal for all future projects, I guarantee the sequel will be received a billion times better than this one was! You'd be suprised just how different people can sound when they sing versus when they talk. A buddy of mine had the lowest voice you've ever heard when he talked, but he was a tenor in choir.
It's just bizarre that these couple of songs weren't heard as much as they should bcause the game launched a total crap. This is some of the best Rock songs out there for me.

these are all so good but OG chippin' in is an easy favourite. they all sound a little off though, like it doesn't sound or feel like Keanu or Kerry's voice actor could sing like this, tiny complaint that doesn't ruin the songs but it does ruin immersion in-game imo

You'd be suprised just how different people can sound when they sing versus when they talk. A buddy of mine had the lowest voice you've ever heard when he talked, but he was a tenor in choir.
