The "I don't care if it sells, it looks cool so I'm making it" mindset is so based
It really is. It's exactly the way other TH-camrs *should* be considering their merch. Unfortunately most of them have more of a "the viewers will buy anything so lets make some cheap shit that we can mass-manufacture. People will buy it anyway.."
Then they get a load of complaints. But that doesn't matter because they've already made the money and can run. If needs be, they can then issue an apology, blame the manufacturer and rinse and repeat.
It's shocking really but not surprising. Us viewers are consistently "scammed" by creators/influencers/TH-camrs (whatever term really applies).
Sometimes, you just gotta let a man cook.
Even more if said man is who will be doing the cooking.
Only rich people with nothing to lose think like this... no wonder young people today are a falling like crazy...

As a graphic designer, TK saying *"It's just my style, even if I want, I can't change it."* it's so real. When you design anything, that's YOUR design! Many people can design similar things like you, people can be more or less experienced than you, but your design has to have your identity. Even if you design for someone else, you'll always have this small details which make your art... Yours. Plus, if you're aware about it and know how to promote it, that's how you define your image and eventually how you can sell it differently than other artists on the same field as you.
This. Your style is your style, it is later a job for marketing to find the people who like it as much as you do

As a suit obsessed guy, i really wonder how much it costed, i'm sewing rhynestones on one of my suit, and it got expensive as hell. So i know a full suit made cost a loooot..
@@SuitedSkaterLionThe suit itself is listed on Glamb’s site for 88,000 Yen, which is approximately $595 USD - which I honestly think isn’t too crazy considering the prices that suits can go for, especially if you get them custom-fitted. If you mean what the collaboration itself cost for *Connor*, though, likely quite a bit! Making clothing is expensive! Wouldn’t surprise me if this easily hit the thousands to design, source materials, and manufacture.

TK is me, half the time I go shopping, nothing is really my style or fits my petite frame so that’s when I started sewing and making the clothes I actually like for myself that actually fit my body.

Honestly this is right up my alley. I love seeing how apparel is made (more specifically suit tailoring and cobblers). I just think it’s interesting since those seem like very difficult skills to acquire and I think it’s cool seeing how things are made and seeing people who are at least very proficient at their craft work

I would like to second the idea of having an interview with TK either on this channel or on Trash Taste! TK seems like such a nice down to earth person who is easy to talk to yet he is super creative in fashion design and his point of view in fashion is stunning! His designs are definitely next level! The collection is a bit out of my price range, so sadly I won't be able to get anything, but everything is incredible! Plus, that suit is honestly a good price for what it is! I would easily pay that much for a good suit (~$600 USD, according to the proxy I used)

I know from owning a glamb jojo t-shirt just how high quality the stuff is.
The height of fame and status is getting to wear your jacket like it's a cape.
Connor has one of those faces that model glasses so well, does he realize? Like wall-sized promo for luxury eyewear kind of potential. Instead of a princess diaries sort of thing where he goes through the beauty transformation by taking the glasses off it would be the other way around.
