    I see these beautiful people resemblance to the Asian people because of proximity of the region and the accessibility of islands. We are one. Wonderful culture

      I think asians and blacks mixed and made the pacific islanders and lots of micronesians have japanese blood remamber micronesia was under japan for a while before they got kicked out in worls war 2

      Beautifully Imperfected we dont have african genes but the phenotype of it is what i think u mean, were mostly related to asians and most of us have asian blood but i mean unless someone in your family has had an african person then yeah theres a chance you have african blood but no we really only have asian, poly, mela, or micro dna

      micronesian culture and to make the Polynesians, the micronesians n melanesians mixed together - but most of us inherited the Micronesians phenotype, like our skintone, eye shape etc

    Interesting the Micronesian women dancers dance hula... That is the closest to Hawaiian Hula... Makes me wanna think 🤔 interesting... Well looks lovely to me.

      @jayromie_ 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      This isn't hula. These girls are just showcasing how we get down when an upbeat song plays. Some parts of the choreo is inspired by Yapese traditional dances and some are made up for fun and entertainment. :)

      The closest to hawaiian hula is Chuukese & Refaluwasch dances. Hand movements & the swaying of the hip. But we Micronesians do not call it Hula.

    • @islandguy6928
      @islandguy6928 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Faanēngaaw Narruhn Nika Not every Micronesian culture revolves around Chuuk for there are other similarities found throughout other tribes Like Marshall,Yap,Kiribas,&Pohnpei.
