    I’ve been carrying an EDC bag, GHB bag and some EDC items on my person everyday for several years and I’m still shocked on how much stuff you fit into that sling bag! That’s an excellent EDC! Thank you for the great content and video! I’m a new sub!

      Thank you and welcome. Yeah I was surprised how much stuff the venture sling holds too. Its very versatile

    Hi Dean, glad you are traveling again so we can see the items in action. I have the 7L Bellroy made from recycled material. Doesn't have water resistant zip like yours nor does it have wide opening one side - which is probably the biggest weakness for my sling. The second weakness for me is that it is a cat hair magnet from our Siberian Forest cat - red cat fur seems like stick like a magnet. I have the same Shure headphones but with a cheap replacement cable as the old ones failed on me but still quite good. And my camera of choice is either a Ricoh GR 2 or Fuji X100S. Sometimes an Olympus film range finder camera. But anything bigger means I can't use my sling. And I have a Bellroy passport wallet. I am forever tinkering since I can't settle on what to carry. Look forward to hearing how your setup worked for you.

      Bellroy have a new 7L called the "sling lite" that looks interesting, it has the same waterproof zip as this one that opens to the size for fuller access too. Im curious to try it as a smaller sling might suit me better. Those cameras are great, I was kind of wishing I kept my Sony ZV1 because the pocket point and shoots are really very packable more than a mirrorless

    That's a neat carrying case for the mask. And much respect for brining treats with you.

    Nice review! I carry Bellroy Light Sling - similar capacity, half the weight.
    Instead of the camera I carry iPad Mini in it.

    • @PackingLess
      @PackingLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I almost got that one but was worried the camera might make it bulk out too much. Might still get it and review/compare it though because I love how light it is. Id love to change over the the ipad mini again. The updated screen and pen look great.

    Thanks for this! I always learn about something new. Man, I sure look forward to getting back on the road.
    BTW, I love the hearclips. I would say though, that they could use a more substantial foot for hanging from tables. I just use the large for everything and then hand hang everything from my EDC bag to full on travel pack from chair backs or stall hooks (or in America, stall doors).
    Cheers!

      Thanks yeah the heroclips are great for bathroom stall doors without hooks. I've come across surprisingly quite a few of them in this trip so far

    I’m not sure why I waited for so long to get the 9L. I’ve owned the 7L for a while but I think that Bellroy pouches run “small”…so the 9L looks promising!

    My EDC backpack is the Arktype Dashpack. Great for work and commute and is solidly built but expensive. Otherwise I have a patagonia 5L black hole waist pack for lighter carry. I have also used a 10L decathalon bag, and kind of replaced it with a 16L matador daylite, as a day bag

    • @PackingLess
      @PackingLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used the 10L decathlon bag before too but the packable one is good for just in case. I havent tried the matador daylite yet but I tried a similar Chinese knock off from NatureHike that was good but the zips often got stuck and werent particularly smooth. How are the matador zips?

    • @329bt
      @329bt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PackingLess I'm pretty sure I got the decathalon bag because you did a video on it. But the matador zips are great so far. I have not had an issue, although I've never filled it to full capacity. I've put in gym clothes, a filled 48oz Nalgene bottle, and some miscellaneous items in it and had no problems

    • @PackingLess

      @@329bt it’s a great bag, but if I recall it’s fairly bulky when stuffed into its bag right

    • @329bt
      @329bt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PackingLess Fairly bulky is the right way to put it. I just measured it in its bag and it's about 5.5 inches x 3 x 2.75. When traveling I usually lay it flat underneath my largest packing cube, or flat in the laptop compartment, and it feels like it takes up no space

    Good day! May i ask if the interior are able to stick to some dividers. Im planning to put some from my peak design bag but idk if the fabric inside lets me stick them

    • @PackingLess

      Its a smooth interior so I dont think any velcro would stick there. But perhaps some kind of box insert might fit

    how do you still have the chums logo on your wallet? mine peeled off after a couple of weeks of everyday use. i bought it for travelling but i started enjoying it so much that i use it daily now and it also holds my house keys. but it feels like i will have to buy a new one every year or so because the quality is not good enough. the color on the zippers is also half peeled off and the fabric loop holding the keys has started to tear

    • @PackingLess

    Ya viste la 10L camera edition? No soy fotógrafo profesional pero quiero una mochila cómo estás, para salir al día a día y si ocupo llevar mi cámara pueda llevarla. Y si no solo la mochila con todo mi día a día! Cual crees que es ella mejor?

    • @PackingLess
      @PackingLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      sí vi la edición 'cámara'. No creo que valga la pena el dinero extra o el peso. Los compartimentos acolchados no son extraíbles y limita la versatilidad de la bolsa.

    • @PepeRaMx
      @PepeRaMx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PackingLess tienes razón en cuanto a versatilidad! Ya que un día puedes únicamente llevar tu cámara y si quieres llevar cosas de tu día a día será algo “extraño” o complicado
