Best interior i'v seen in a jeep
i own a 2015 Jeep Renegade latitude edition. its a good car for everyday driving and weekend driving. so far i have 5,550 miles on it and its still driving great. easy to drive, small enough to drive around downtown, and good suspension for rugged dirt roads.
This is a unique looking vehicle. I also just learned that you can have this trucklet LIFTED!!! Seriously, it looks really tough and fun with the lift kit from MOPAR. As always, thanks for a great test ride. You are one of my favorite reviewers!!!!

I like this suv. I think it is cute too. My husband does not like it. At first I did not like the interior but now it is growing on me. My favorite color is the orange in flat black

The 2.4 gas multiair isn't available in Europe and I have no idea why you have it over there! Most popular here (uk) is the Fiat 2.0L MultiJet II diesel, returning 50+ mpg and good for 170bhp and 340 Nm of torque @ 1750 rpm in a Renegade Trailhawk. So much more suited to this application.
+Paul Stanley I wish we had the diesel here in the states! The main reason why we don't have it over here is because our emission laws over here are extremely strict, especially for diesels. Also I think that it is going to be hard to sell small diesel engines here after what happened to Volkswagen. It sucks because I think a diesel suits the renegade perfectly.
+Greg Yarbro It's a shame as these new Euro6 compliant diesels are so clean. the amount of torque available really puts petrol engines in the shade.
Thanks for your reviews, great info and delivery!!! I LOVE the renegade but am fearful of that 9 speed and the problems I've heard and read about it. Your thoughts? We are leaning towards CX5 now, CX3 is too small and we're kinda "meh" on the HR-V. Thoughts again? Thanks!
*Really* like the interior. Exterior's not bad, either. Reliability concerns me, although MPG is surprisingly good.

I've driven two trailhawk renegades - one was an accident.. I just wanted to look/drive a renegade and they only had a trailhawk one because it was right after they came out. The other I wanted to show another family member and they had 1 trailhawk and 3 non trailhawk, so of course I went with the test drive of the trailhawk version haha.They aren't bad.. I'd maybe buy one. But for almost $30k, there are many more vehicles I'd rather have before it. I'd buy a renegade before I'd buy a cherokee.
Exterior looks like something you'd hang off your keychain 😜 The interior looks nice, but can't get over its munchkin size...😜
I wish an automotive journalist finally drove the 1.4t version. I understand that Trailhawk is the flagship, but come on.
I test drove one of these and that huge box they have installed around the rear view mirror was a deal breaker. I love the look of this vehicle but the visibility is hampered by that stupid mirror! :(
The only real dislike I have on the Renegade is the price. The Renegade Trailhawk and Cherokee Trailhawk are both the same price.. I was under the initial impression that the Trailhawk would be a price point below the Cherokee. I know they are different beasts but still I'd pick the Cherokee over the Renegade in a second.
I totally agree on the price being crazy, you could get a a mid level Cherokee V6 for less money than a Renegade Trailhawk, add to that more rebates on Cherokees. Personally I prefer the Renegade's boxier styling to the more aerodynamic Cherokee.
I think it's cool, as is its cousin, Fiat 500 x
Yesterday I picked up my 15 jeep renegade sport with 1.4 liter 6 speed manual. Started vehicle today and every dash light illuminated with a message to check power steering. Power steering was not working. Shut down vehicle andrestarted and seems fine now with the exception of the dash brake light remaining illuminated with vehicle turned off. I hope this is not the start of an unhappy relationship with my jeep.

Average of 15.1mpg? At least in its short life so far. Crazy for a 4 cylinder and 9 speed auto.
That's the average of many auto journalists doing slalom and acceleration tests all day, I don't think it's a realistic sample.

if it had a bigger 4 cylinder or a 2.0 turbo or something than I would buy this it's too underpowered
not many 4 cylinders big than 2.4 litees. the only one I can think of is Nissan builds a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder
