    Thanks for such a detailed tutorial. As it turns out, I have the same bottle, same concentrator as you do. One of my connections was a little different, but I had no trouble making it work since the visuals were so helpful. I'm going to look and see what other TH-cam videos you've shared.

      Yeah I I bought two of them bottles for my concentrator and the it came with all the green hoses extra plus I ordered three extra large you know carrying a bag with a shoulder strap for my larger tanks because I told him I wanted d size tanks and not for smaller C size tanks cuz they were running out of air too fast so I had to order 2 then I changed my mind and I ordered 6 hoese that attached to my humidifier and my concentrator so now I got more than enough hoses for that for the wing nuts on on the very top that it screws in there and then you you probably plug in the other thing where the air goes and then where the air goes with the green cord used to hook up that's where the the top of the tank of the humidifier hooks up now and I got the green hose on the bottom of the humidify a tank you know the top black pot that's cruising on the top of the humidifier once you fill it up to the heel of the limit of the water then you screw that on you put it through the velcro and then there's a black thing sticking out on the side of the black top that's what I hooking my green coat my green card and then I unscrew it first I yeah then I and then I unscrew it and make sure that it's got air pressure that it holds the air pressure and you get the pump over here coming out of here one guy says to I have mines on number two setting he says to hook it up to number three liters or rather than number two and you can hear it really pump fast and stuff that's a good way to burn out your pump motor so I'm not going to do it like that I'm just going to hook through like the other guy showed me the second guy showed me to put your hand on their first couple seconds and when you let your hands on you'll hear the air pressure coming out of your Puff and it doesn't make any bad sounds like you your pump isn't working extra hard you know that's what friends don't comes out I ought to know I'm a Master Mechanic and I know all about engines and Motors of both gas powered engine powered electric powered you name it how is the best mechanic around baby I done it all I just couldn't figure out what the hell that and my sister took hers and she flipped it upside down she said oh no see there's no water coming out of it you use it just like that I said well he's going to be like two hoses up to it sister I said take a picture of your yard she took a picture of it it looks exactly like mines White beige color and the lines is black like they come nowadays you know and but anyhow I just had a laughing so hard I said damn Sharon they they make them like that cuz when you tip them upside down the water level goes drops and it's it's the strawberries above the water level so there's no way was going to leak out of there but if you tip it sideways the one will pull right out of there so it was too funny when I heard his telling me that you know she says oh there's two hoses to hook on there somehow I don't know how to do it Steve does it for me all the time

    I’m a medical equipment technician and work for a medical company. I noticed a few things you did wrong. Your never Suppose to put a humidifier bottle on without a water trap. You attached it between the 50ft tubing then the other end to the canula. The water trap catches all the water that leaks into the tubing before any water gets into the patients lungs. Also never fill up the bottle to Max line. You fill the water right in between the min/max markings.

    • @TomLeeman
      @TomLeeman  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good to know that’s the way they showed us how to set it up when we got it. Thank you for the info.

    • @mondaynightjam
      @mondaynightjam ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m confused. Water trap? Do we add another tube??

    • @TomLeeman
      @TomLeeman  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mondaynightjam yeah, oxygen concentrator tube goes into the one port on the water container and then the other two goes to the recipient from that water container so the air is flowing through the water, picking up moisture and then flowing out to the patient

I'm autistic and on oxygen and just got a humidifier for my home concentrator and this is the only video I've seen on it, nobody showed me how to set it up, and they only gave me the two pieces he shows here, the small tube w threads on one end and the bubble humidifier.

    So you have to put distilled water into your bottle make sure it’s screwed on good you’re gonna take the shorter tube and screw it onto the top and then push it on the knob that’s on the machine where you have the other tube then you’re going to bring the pressure up to three test it and see if you’re getting a good response by holding the end And then go ahead and put your other tube on and bring it back down to the number that you’re supposed to be using good luck. If you have any questions, call the company up and they can give you further details. Feel better. Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for the video because I have that same concentrator and I was having all kinds of bleeding Moses before I ordered two of the bottles so I can wash one and air dry it while I put the new one the other new one in the I feel it the other new one with water you know I guess when they're brand new and they come in the package package and I don't think you'll have to wash them then I think he's just going to wash them out after you use them for the first time so anyhow so that's how I guess so now I know how to hook it up but when you first got the the bottles did you have to wash it out or did you just add the distilled water to it cuz I know my my got mine's all out of them right from Lincare oxygen they sent them the right the next day and I got all the hoses except for the small one that goes with the wing nut and it catches to the front where the oxygen comes out and so I'm trying to figure out how to move you hook this up so I watch the video and I said oh that's how you hook them up I said so no wonder the wing the wing doesn't go anywhere else because it's nothing to go to so after I'm watching the thing I called the link here back up and I told him I needed a few of them the hoses you know to attach to the to the wing you know so I got a couple of them anyhow so they sent me about three or four of the hoses that with the threads on them that screw on you cuz you're supposed to change the hoses on all that stuff for after 2 weeks or something like that and then anyhow so I got all the plenty of hoses for everything I can get 10 or 20 ft long each one of the hoses the green ones and then that clear plastic ones where the goes into my nose you know and damn I want to give my ears a break so I got one Justin knows peace and pinch it over your nose and your breathe through your oxygen through there you know and it's got an elastic that goes behind your head this way you ain't going to feel like your ears are getting cut off you know in the meantime I'm wearing the last I wear paper towels or cotton in between my ears you know and it doesn't cut my ears with the with the other piece with that goes in your nostril you know I just curious do you have to wash them out before you use them double before you put the distilled water in the do they come over all nice and clean from the factory you know the the water bottles that hold the distilled water

      @@TomLeeman yeah I ordered two of the you know the things that hold the water in it and the St distilled water and they didn't come with the damn hoses that thread went through the Wingnut and the end that plugs into the other thing it doesn't have the type of plug-in that my green holes has on the end of it you know so what I did was I'm pretty sure that that black hole thought the whole step down screws to the wing nut will plug right into where my ear goes I mean where the yeah where the air goes and then the air I think plug it right into the other thing you know I'm pretty sure about that but anyhow even though it's a piece of tube and it looks like they cut the tube off and they left the other thing out you know the thing that you grab and you push it onto the thing it's just regular tubing you know it doesn't have the thing with the that catches onto the when you're pushing on real tight and it and it has the other thing where it but I can plug that on there I can plug either end on the the Winger on there and I can pull the other thing on you and but I can I'm pretty sure it'll plug in today it'll plug into the other thing on my in the front where the oxygen thing goes it's going to be hot plug it into that so I can boy so what do you do you want do you unscrew the wing nut off of there off the top and then rinse all the the queen rinse out the bottle and rinse out the cap what about the straw are you rinse that out too that goes through the wing nut yeah I need to know if you're interested out the cap that screws on to the top of the of the dry you know top of the water bottle and also do you run the water through the straw do you use soapy water through there or do you just let it run through the through the straw you know and flush it out this way any bacteria gets in there even if you don't have soap that goes through there should wash it out good enough I don't want to think cuz you can only hear going through there you know and plus moisture you know to keep you dry and without getting beaten noses so I'm just curious do you add the soapy water through the straw that goes down the middle of the jar and the and the lid also that screws onto the jar or do you just washed a job I mean the bottle I would appreciate it for any kind of help our answers that you can give me thank you very much my name is Russell and pleasure to meet you

    I was told only fill the bottle 1/3 full, and try not to run it over a long 50' hose but only the last 7 feet of hose right before the cannula.

      There should be a line on the container that tells you how high to fill it up

    I picked this up for work. My last one was smaller th-cam.com/users/postUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj and cuter but the motor burned out within a few months. This one's footprint is a tad bigger but it still doesn't eat up a lot of desk space. Its size and shape blends into the background nicely. This has a good size water container so I don't need to refill more than once a week. I use filtered (not distilled) water because cleaning up after our hard water is tough at work. I like that this has several settings. It's also very quiet. (I have a silence naxi in the next cubicle.) It also hasn't left that terrible while powder, so far, that some humidifiers leave. Been using this for a month or so now and am very happy with my purchase.

      I haven't hooked the humidifier up yet but I was advised to get a "water trap" (which they sent me) from the supplier , apparently it helps with that issue. Check with your supplier.
