This video helped save a life. Had a power outage, both my mom's portable tanks were out. Thank God that tank was here, & it help her get through. Thanx a million for that vid!!
Very helpful, thank you. Editorial note, the language you used to describe a fallen and busted open Oxygen tank was a bit soft. My Oxygen manual that they gave us describes as “it may become a deadly projectile”. Much clearer about the safety risks 😅
You missed commenting on the most important part and that is the small brass in river washer that sits over the pin that connects to the oxygen tank. If you are missing that washer or it’s worn out all the oxygen will blow out past the valve you need to double check when you get the regular that you only have, the washer installed but spare and they always come in a bag when a regulator ships. I keep a small bag of those brass and rubber washers that I buy off Amazon close to our oxygen tanks and oxygen can be a lifesaver and an emergency.
When im using this. The piece isnt working. It was working a few hours ago from a peramedic but now its just not working as it should. Its just leaking when we open the valve with the key
Sir, when can I change the cylinder in the hospitals? The cylinder contains2000 psi Should I change it when1000psi ? Or at500psi Is there a reference for that?
Did you rely on the regulator's standard? Or there is a reference that stipulates filling the cylinder In my opinion, the cylinder should be changed if the pressure reaches 1000 psi It is considered a waste because only 50% was used
New to using oxygen and am still uncertain what the correct method is to Turn off the oxygen tank, I was told to do the following: 1st turn off wait until there's no hissing sound Then turn dial to 0 Is this correct? Thanks in advance

Best to have a cart made to secure extra tanks upright.

I would not be sure it’s mostly who ever handles the oxygen cylinders
@@RNScrub for E size like the video up

How long does a tank that size last?
4-6 hours if set on 2 liters. If set higher then won’t last as long
Do u refill these
The people who handle the oxygen can refill and exchange them
Why does the air comes through the neck when i turn it on
that i am not sure,
Is it quiet..should I be hearing it come out?
Should be quiet, if you hear it coming off then something is loose
@@RNScrub thank you!
The air keeps coming out of the top thing where I put the key...
Make sure a nasal cannula is attached. Air shouldn’t be coming out from the top unless it’s a defect
Does it not need an oxygen humidifier?
You can probably attach one
Why does my pulse oxygen regulator keep puffing even when I don't have it on
Not to sure on that

1st turn off
wait until there's no hissing sound
Then turn dial to 0
Is this correct? Thanks in advance
Correct but I believe it’s so the remaining oxygen gets expelled out and doesn’t force pressure inside the tank
@@RNScrub Thank you for your prompt response. I just wanted to make sure I was doing this correctly. Have a Happy New Year!
What size tank is that?
not sure just a standard size tank
😮
All my tanks are empty but weren't used
Should be fine, they can be checked and refilled by an authorized oxygen supplier
Hm
Wh😂is phone number,,,i would like to go back to the company?
Please speak clearly it's matter of life and death for people uses oxygen therapy including myself, thankyou.
