Thanks for the review. I've been using AX41s on my Tenere 700 since the OEMs wore out. Very happy with the road performance/grip. They are also a bit lighter construction on sidewalls than some other tires which makes them easy to replace. I'm pretty easy on tires and get 6000km minimum out of the rear, 10000 from the front
I always ran battleaxes on my sport bikes, they're really good but I can never justify the price on my f800gs. I rip back tires to shreds every 2-3k and I can't afford $275 a tire every month. Great review though. We gotta get Manuel some more subs, 26k is nothing for this quality of content.
Loved the AX41s on my T700. Amazing on road. Super in gravel/sand/rock. Do not recommend in mud. Only trade off for me was short life. I destroyed a rear in 1400 miles on TET in Pyrenees
Hi! Defo better than on the rear as you’d expect. Front probably could’ve done two rears. Just made the same trip on Motoz. Grip far superior. Wear minimal but road noise off the scale and road grip not so good. Always a compromise
Belle gomme. Provate sul 790 per un periodo. In crisi un po’ sul bagnato pesante/fango ma nel utilizzo 50/50 sono perfette. A me però sono durate poco xke sono abbastanza morbide

'Hardcore adventure riders' as you say will/should never buy this tyre. AX41 is great for light gravel roads in dry conditions, that's it. They are horrible in mud, the sidewalls are so stiff that you cannot air down a little bit to flatten it. At 1,3 bar it still does not grip but goes off the rim. Yeah it lasts quite long (4000 km on T7) but given the price I would go for Michelin Trackers for offroad or MotoZ RallZ for dual use (same mileage, incredible performance offroad vs. AX41).

Nice review, having insights into how it made you feel riding with the various bikes was good, looking to buy now.

How's the longevity on the front?

@@jonarmstrong7392 Thanks!
Have you used a TKC 80? If so, how would you say it compares for longevity?
Thanks for the Review

Quanto poco?
Sto valutando la scelta per equipaggiare una T7extreme.
Grazie
@@enricomanca8534 eh ma io ne faccio uso intensivo..forse 3000km a far bello
@@KIM_AdventureExplorer con un uso fuoristradistico intenso non è male. Ti ringrazio.

Manuel; please test/review the Husky 701 & Touareg 660. And: isn't there a BMW on this ~650cc adventure/enduro class??
Thanks! I'll give it a try on my next set!
