Only got mine yesterday. Servo and receiver came straight out. 35kg servo and dumbo x6g receiver in. Reinforcing the body today, check the diffs tomorrow. Good weather forecast for Thursday, I cannot wait. Nice vid BTW. Liked & subbed. 🍻
Thanks. Looks like Thursday is going to be a blast!
I've been loving this truck ever since I got it. Been on 6 packs and going strong. Definitely one of my favorite rc's out there 👌
It's definitely my 2023 favorite release. It's just a blast to drive.
@hyperc5249 I'm with you. The way it handles and the power is just right. It is truly an awesome truck 😎
love this truck, definitely on my list to get 👍👍👍😀
It is definitely worth the money. This rig is so much fun to rip around.
@hyperc5249 yeah definitely getting one 😀👍👍
Nice video with very mature evaluation. I appreciate your brief description and summation. Sounds like a great truck and just might persuade me to get one. I already have the traxxas UDR, slash vxl 4x4, SBR 2.0, and 1/10th raptor Baja Rey from losi. One More truck? Maybe.
Thanks. I don't really care for all of the antics I see in some other channels. I can see you like the SCT as much as me. I do highly recommend this one. It's absolutely my favorite purchase for 2023. It's just plain fun to drive.
Great vid and Im a big fan of the new Mojave 4S. As for the question in the title - its probably the new tekno sct48 2.0 or possibly the older sct410 but this arrma is terrific value.
That new Tekno is awesome. But im sticking with the Mojave 4S. It handles better than any SCT I have ever driven. But that is just my opinion.
Hell yeah!!!
Thanks, bro. It's an awesome rig!
Nice video! How big 4s lipos you use for this? Is 5000mHa good enough? Or does it needs bigger for example 7500mHa? How does bigger lipo (bigger weight) effect handling? Does it only effect the driving time? What kind of driving time you get your battery? Thanks for the answers all ready ☺️
5000 is fine. More weight raises the center of gravity. Which will cause more body roll and understeer. 7500 will get you longer run time. So it's a give and take.
Hey, I have a question I just bought mine yesterday and it came with a black ESC. Is there a difference between the black one and the orange one?
Yes, the Black is V2 150amp ESC. But without a picture I'm not sure if that's what you got or a new 120amp ESC. Send me a picture or serial number.
I bought it 4 days ago as well. They revised the Mojave. Is an ongoing change. Esc is still 120amp, but everything is blacked out which I like better.
They swapped the servo for the S662. Same price as S652, but handles higher voltage, still capping at 7.4 due to ESC BEC limitation. I guess there were complaints of servo fade on the S652. Still advertised as 18kg on both, but 662 spec listing on every single website(Arrma, Horizon, Amain, even Spektrum) is fuckered up. They mistakenly show it as a downgrade from 652 which would be unreal considering youtuber complaints on 652. I reported the wrong 662 listing. Unsure if they’ll care enough to change it.
But yeah, different servo and blacked out! Everything else is the same. :)
Thanks for the info.
Yea .....You were rippin on the grass......Duuuu....What was I thinkin!!!.... Too early I guess.
The larger long wheelbase trucks make it look effortless giving you the illusion they are going slower than they actually are.
Short story,,,, Years ago I drove 1/16 Mini Revos they were fast.....Wife got me a Nitro Revo for Christmas really cool......First run at the park balls to the wall.....lost control BAMM took out her ankle...broke in 3 places...OMG Divorced going on 34 years. Still got the Revo! HaHa
Hilarious thanks for sharing that!!!
No I believe team associate sc10 pro 4 is the answer.
That is a really good SCT. I'm still feeling the Mojave 4S. It handles so well. But to each his own. Team associated has always been one of my favorite brands.
39mph ...That's dog slow for 4S.
I'm almost a 100% sure the remote was set on 75%
I double-checked it is on 100. It was on grass it does 50mph on tarmac. But I won't run it on paved roads because it's a SCT.
That was on grass. It does 50mph on tarmac.
@@hyperc5249are paved roads bad for SCT trucks?
@mr.fridge6710 You can. But It's definitely not set up for that. Suspension wise, it's definitely set up for a short course track. The tires are definitely not for pavement either. They like the loose stuff. I usually speed test on tarmac. I just did something different with this because that's where I'm going to run it.
