I read "taiga king" as "keiga king" and was very excited for some inconceivable blue dragon prison brew for a moment edit: turns out I also confused keiga and yosei, truly peak confused over here
11:10 because of double strike, you get the initiative before the damage step, so you can forge one of your dorks get an extra 2 damage to put them to four, and the trap kills them the next turn
@@OmneAurumNon Kind of hard to play around a top deck though. I'd much rather make sure that Terminus and Verdicts aren't outs, both of which could reasonably be in hand.
11:20 if you had Forged an attacking creature they would be at 4 because the double strike on the Fury token took the initiative which would have put them in range of Trap!
I play this deck in paper. I suggest once upon a time to smooth mulligans(it can grab an iniative creature, the land you need, or a spirit guide). Also ouphe>null rod because it can turn sideways.
Bosh, I don't know if you're familiar with the band Rise Against, but since you seem to enjoy in-joke-y/meme-y things: Every time you mention an all-in hand not having a backup plan (and sadly often getting blown out), I'm reminded of "And how could something so right turn out so wrong?/I don't have a backup plan/This is all that I am" from their song '1000 Good Intentions'.
In game one forge to trap was lethal, because you got the initiative from fury’s first strike damage, and forge would’ve been another two right then Edit: if you’d seen it and gone for it that would’ve been rough

There is much confusion in the ranks
A bit sad it's not Eye of the Taiga
Blue white legendary dragon prison control? Someone needs to get brewing

though it wouldn't have helped because of the one ring, i guess

25:27 "This is the hand I would choose if I was cheating" that has got to be the most brutal opener possible for storm to run into!
For real. I wasn't even the opponent but that hand hurt ME lol.
"I think I'll go into the lost well" - Bosh'n Roll every single time.
You can take the blue out of the deck, but not out of the player.
For what I've understood, Cradle Controls plays invigorate for the mono-red match up (I think the mono-red goblin sticker deck)
Did you recently briefly have a Death & Taxes videon online, or was that my imagination?
I haven’t played D&T in a long time
Hello! 30k is soo close, good job on everything so far 😊

Been wanting to try orchish lumberjack in a deck like this. Cool deck

11:04 they would have been at less than five from Forge, since you got the initiative from the first strike combat damage. but then they had the ring
Just bought a playset of broadside bombadiers thanks to this video.
Ancient Tomb gamers and Legacy completionists should def own them
Minsc is my favorite cube card and I can’t wait to see some hampsters flung
For match 1 sideboarding, I like cutting Trinisphere if you are bringing in Forces as it relieves some tension between the way the two cards interact.
bosh pack theres fire in the trees smoke em out with that gruul pack

Rise Against is great. Love it 🤘🏻
This was fun :)
That's right Brian, convince me to not sell a single Taiga. I have to keep them all. Haha.
I'm glad I'm not the only one getting wrecked by broadside bombardiers. Mtgo leagues sure are a rough place to play lands
17:56 You have Forest+Treasure
Undermountain adventurer tapping for 2 Green all the time and 6 Green some of the time is so messed up
I should sent in my sweet boros list.
4:44 The whole point is to finish rounds with time to get lunch out haha. Sit back and let the cards do the work for you.
I wonder if Rhino is actually a bad matchup or if it just requires a switch to a prison mindset. This deck does have some good hate for the matchup
Have you tried mindfulness

Trinisphere
Still do thid❤
Spirit guides instead of lotus petal hurts my soul, you have to mulligan otherwise keepable hands cause you have the wrong color
Way better with chrome mox though. And it’s more cards to pitch to free spells as well as find off of the throne of the dead three.
replace bombadeers by legola's reflexes perhaps?
