Watercolors are not opaque paints. That is why it is very difficult to paint a portrait with them. In the portrait, a lot is improved to get the perfect likeness. Gouache would be better in such cases. Or maybe use a combined technique?

@@ChaYeonPainter88 If you are good, you are skilled at catching images, you can paint with everyone and it will come out very nice. But with watercolors it takes longer to reach a high level. And you probably know that, so my advice is superfluous. In this portrait, I meet this lady. So you have a talent for it. I just don't know if it was painted from a specific photo?

그림을 멀리서 그려야 하기 때문에 어려움 점이 있었습니다. 처음엔 이젤에서 그렸다가 지금은 책상에서 약간의 경사를 두고 휴대폰으로 촬영을 하고 있습니다~(자바라와 휴대폰 거치대를 활용해서 고정했습니다.) 익숙해 지는데 시간이 좀 걸렸습니다. 감사합니다~

I still think that she is a Master, especially for her ability to always question herself. If after months of inactivity this is your level, I can hide in the broom closet! If she had any idea how I study and slow down her videos to learn, she would laugh. I'm still enchanted (and can't) manage the color once it's applied to the sheet. How she even changes the direction of color by changing the shape of the paint remains a mystery to me. If I do it myself: if it is wet on wet it becomes a milky stain, if it is wet on dry it fixes there and if I have made a mistake there are no saints to pray for it to move! XD Help Me! I also ask you a question that can (and maybe is) stupid: is it possible to paint a subject in several days or at different times or when you start you must necessarily finish? I ask because so far I have never tried with portraiture I would not want to make mistakes.

Thank you. Sometimes the paintings are completed in succession. But nothing is set. Sometimes, if you paint over several times, you can draw a few days.

@@Nionearth It's nice to color the whole thing, but sometimes I paint with a partial dampening of paper. I don't think there is only one way to draw a picture.
