I gotta say, tips are good. This past month of December, We were targeted to be robbed and thanks for us changing directions and entering a public place (restaurant), in Strasbourg France during Christmas market visit, we potentially avoided being mugged. They were targeting tourists, heard us speaking a different language and started following us right away, and practicing situational awareness, we spotted them instantly, therefore applied the mentioned technique.

These may help if spies are following you, but could be disastrous if muggers are following you.

Exactly. This may be good for Vienna being followed by a surveillance team but this is not good for America being followed by criminal violent felon thugs.

Sort of, they’re still helpful, arguably more so but just need to be adapted to the situation, as with all advice. Your first priority should be going to a crowded area, where people will *hopefully* help you, ideally somewhere with police. Then testing them with these methods somewhere you stand a chance at defending yourself. Most muggers just want an easy target, you walking into, or near a police station or or group of police will most likely scare them off, and unless you’ve got a 500k watch on, you’re probably not that special of a target, everyone now days has a few thousand on them between their phone, headphones and wallet.
If you did the open space trick, for example, and were putting them on the spot, a muggers would be more likely to just abort and find someone else as you’re not worth dealing with and then can just leave to find someone else.
If you’re wondering around with that 500k watch in an area where you could easily be mugged, you failed the first step which is avoiding the problem to begin with.

Yeah, this would work in certain situations but again you don’t always want to give away that you know you’re being followed. The best method I have found so far is the natural turnaround Weather in a car or on foot go into a place where it’s OK to stop and loiter for a few minutes and watch who goes by you who pays attention to you and then leave in a different direction than you were originally headed you can repeat this three times while also making continuous turns to the left or to the right this will not only get you back into position to continue ahead if nothing is wrong, but also will give away anyone who is following you especially with a car but also on foot

this is active detection NOT surveillance detection.. so you catch one but if a team is on you they will go deepr and make detection harder. SOVs would spend HOURS on SDR.

But this is against thief, criminals etc on the streets. If we talking surveillance by an organisation, well either let them know or pretending being unaware and have your team pick them up etc.

For that to happen you need to be a
      VIP or
      Big Merchant (huge baller)
Or has a past deeply associated with confidential stuff 🤫
Or you're a role play of
      John Wick.
      If niether of this,
You pretty average nxt door guy/gal so just stop imagining
      And follow these tips.

@rahulsawant8369 Or you said the wrong thing about someone online... critiquing some world leader, party, criminal, etc. Or you saw something. I can think of tons more reasons. Thinking you are a no one all the time is flirting with danger. Then you will never see a thing. Good job.

Another very important thing is to be aware of your kind and a relevance as a target. Are you a criminal on the run? Are you a drug dealer? Are you a cop? Are you an undercover cop or a spy? Are you a regular citizen that has nothing to hide? Knowing your position and knowing who could follow you will help you to determine the right strategy to evade.

These techniques can work for survalievce detection, but if you let your shadow know they are made, the next step is to up their game. They already know that you're the squirrel, be careful not to let them know that you know that they are foxes. Stay safe.

Rule 1 of being followed, dont let them know you know. If they are motivated enough to follow they are motivated enough to engage when they no longer have the advantage they were looking for.
Best advantage you can have in any situation is letting them think they have that advantage

Browse said you don’t wanna be stuck in an elevator with someone who is following you which is correct however, he finds it perfectly acceptable to let the person following. You know that their cover is blown? What if the fact of their cover being blown makes them act what if they go from simply following to now trying to detain you While I agree with some of these methods you in no way should give away the fact that you know you’re being followed unless you are for sure 100% know that the people doing the following will stop if they are found out, however, if it’s a government agency or some kind of crimes syndicate or whatever letting them know that you have blown their cover is just gonna get them to either act in a decisive manner or to reset

Good info, except if you think you're being followed and you don't want to get caught in an elevator or confined space with them, why on earth would you lead them to a non-crowded alley just to blow their cover?? Now you're essentially alone with them again, just like in an elevator.

  • @denniskielton2447
    @denniskielton2447 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

How to not blow your cover if they give you the eye test or open space test: Look back confidently like "what the hell are you looking at me for?" haha. They only fail the test if they do something like look away all shady. So double down and show confidence, as if you juts happen to be heading the same way lol boom, all doe
