    Less waiting, less sitting in line, most loads delivery during the week and at daytime, not much unloading or loading on weekends, or nights... Plus your getting a work out? Whats not to like? Rgn is even easier!

    Good luck. I had a W900L Studio with a 53' low pro aluminim step deck with ramps that I had leased on with Landstar when I decided to retire. Was an SD4. when I retired and sold my truck and trailer. Now a full time RV'er pulling a 45' toy hauler with a class 6 Frieghtliner Sportchasis. Wandering the country at my own pace. There are some great agents with open platform frieght out there. Once you learn what you are doing, get a step deck, so much more versatile.

      The only reason that I have a flat right now is because my friend Mark gave me an awesome opportunity. Like I said, my overall goal is 3 axle RGN. It is so awesome that you actually are living out the dream. Thank you so much for all of your years of service. By the way...What's in the toy hauler?

      From my experience and taking to our dispatch team about 3 axel vs. 2 axel... they say it's not worth getting a 3 axel because the fright rate is close to the same price, and 3 axel is less versatile. I pull 2 axel and make great money and hardly go over 35,000 lbs... no need to complicate things. I haul oversized, military, small stuff to large. Once you go into another axel, your expenses go up, and opprutunity may go down if you are less versatile.

      @@truckingresources4240I completely understand, 30 plus years in construction spinning my wheels. Now I am getting my class a cdl, 2 weeks of class left really enjoying it and doing well. I might start with flatbed but really want to do fuel hauling so I can be home daily!!! Maybe I will see you on the road someday soon

      Welcome to the channel. I am also a loyal follower of Brett. We have become pretty good friends after I started in flatbed and was looking for securement videos. Look at some of my videos. Retired drivers love this channel because my actual niche is talking about old trucking companies!! Actually it started because I was so pissed off about the Yellow situation.

    Happy to see that your doing well with the change. My whole career in trucking was just with flatbeds, step decks, and low boys, and always did great, but like you are finding out, you earn everything yo make. I see you got introduced to Ritchie Bros. Get hooked up with the right Agent that works with them and they can keep you busy hauling that auction stuff, And NO TARPS. Have fun, Bill

      Back, right before I retired, Jones had a haul of skidded coils(upright on skids) out of Burns Harbor, In to Lancaster that payed 3.00 a mile(but it had to be on a regular flatbed, no steps) and most of the time there were loads right out of Lancaster when they got there. You might have one
      of your local agents ask around for you. Bill@@truckingresources4240

    For me comes down too time put in work involved, securing below down and where in tear on the equipment and where in tear on me ( the weather)
    This experience chain and a load down when it’s 90+ degrees out ain’t easy and don’t forget got The main thing second-guessing yourself sometimes did I secure it right that’s for me

    So glad to hear the excitment in your voice my friend! Heres the thing, you are 1 month in. Your going to get faster, learn more, make more connections with agents, learn the lanes...once all those start happening that money will continue to go up. Like you said in one of your videos, control what you can control and im glad to see you grabbed that bull by the horns and are making it work for you. When you get to the OD stuff and learn the lanes and agents there you could easily add 25% or more to those bottom line nunbers. Get on the fast track to RGN my friend. I love your numbers but RGN can make in a week what you just quoted for your month. I did it this week. Come on brother...come get it. Excited to help you along your journey and be part of it with you!!!

    • @truckingresources4240
      @truckingresources4240  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, Both were limited quantities but it had to be placarded because they were mixed. These were obviously roofing supplies but the glue is flammable liquid and corrosive. Quite frankly I'd like every load from this shipper to be placarded, they pay an extra $200 for it lol

I can only drive in New York only .. I don’t ever see me driving a truck anymore!!! 34 years was enough. In November looking forward to social security 62 good luck 🍀 rob
