I worked at Prime for 4 years and I left last April. Prime treated me good but like you said the culture sucks compared when I started in 19. Having a job making Walmart driver pay and home a night during the week and home on the weekends I can't imagine going back to OTR. Good luck to you man.
Yea prime inc not the same but still better then most mega carrier. the goal for me is to get off the road and work Walmart or Costco. Walmart pay very well.
I love watching all your videos I always wanted to become a truck driver and work for prime Inc flatbed when I’m older but I’m in high school I still have to go to college and than after I’m done with college I’ma get my CDL and work for prime Inc
Lmao that’s your fault u decided to go to a terminal to do your reset under a load. You never pull into the terminal under a load Rule #1 That’s the another problem, TH-cam truckers have NO business acumen and they’re giving bad information on trucking from their own poor decisions and blaming it on trucking or the company otself
Past 3 years I’ve take a 34 a lot at the terminal especially at slc. They always get you truck and trailer fixed before your 34 up because the rule a t prime is if your under a load your first in line to get fixed. Like I said Ta down the street could take me right away and done in one hour. I’m blaming prime cause they wanted to save money and make me lose money. If your at prime you would understand things have changed a lot and a lot of good in house people quit or retired which is another sign.
@@tollboothjimmytrucking.nowadays trailer repair is done on based on when the load is due. If your load has time for you to do a 34 then you’re going to the back of the line. They won’t pay you for layover for the downtime because you had all that extra time to begin with.

Things have changed here at Prime, it was way better in 19-20 4 years here and there’s been a huge culture shift
Yes. It sad cause it use to be a great company and drivers were proud to work here

Prime is on the top ten worst companies to work for to many lawsuits and so on stay far away
No college needed for prime. Trust me you’d be wasting your time and money. Most of us prime drivers are as dumb as rocks.
Go to college get a good degree that pays 6 digits save your money go to prime get’ t 6 months experience and get your own truck and trailer boom

34 hour off duty gives your 70 hours back.
@@tollboothjimmytrucking. I know but I think I would just go home
Why did you leave prime?
It a starter company and was tired of all the Bs.
