As I'm EDM fan , i very like the party/rave vibes by Alex version but also Nathan Pop version was really good and fit well in track , all of these two producers are really good💖💖💖
Honestly, two different vibes, a wonderful video, two amazing producers and teachers…very hard to pick a winner. Alex a hit on the dance floor, Nathan a more original use of the vocal and wonderful ending. Congrats to you both …. Give us more !!!
Nathan's ending is so beautiful. Alex's chorus is more of my type, maybe because of the tempo. both are great, how about you guys make a version where you both work on it? I wonder how that would sound 😍
Notice how when they both are listening to the vocal before the challenge starts, they nod their head to the tempo in synchronization. And there’s no drums or anything. As a music producer you start to do these things without thinking. It’s honestly amazing.
The perspective differences. That's what makes this video great. I'll admit the aggressive approach Alex took and the build up... wins my heart over ha. She's got that "I wanna release the stress" vibe. And what better than to be out on the dance floor jammin' to this banger!
Nathan's is such a brilliant piece musically and sonically. Alex's production would definitely sell and appeal to the mass music market more. Overall brilliant production from both of you guys!
Nathan: I love it when you have these challenges! It gives me two production perspectives to learn from. It was so cool that you worked with Alex Rome, (who I started following at the beginning of the year) I like both compositions, but I lean toward my sensei (NJL) as a PA student. But I did pick up a couple of nice tips from Alex. More, more more, please!
I’m a Rome Student but after listening to both. They were Absolutely outstanding. To be honest it was hell of a hard decision. But I got to give it to Nathan. For the end was the piano. 🖤
Both versions were fire but being a more traditional musician I connected with James version because of his harmony choices. I liked the chords and bass line under the melody.
I love how much you both liked playing back what you had produced, rocking out to your own vibes! Thanks for another banging video and tons of inspo Nathan and Alex!
some of the percussion on Nathan's song was really thought out and sounded great, including the piano ending which i'm always a supporter of :) Rome though I do love slap house and the vocal chop in your drop (and the presets from your pack which are fire). Both were awesome tracks I'm happy this happened!
it's that guy who promises to make our songs sound professional just by adding his melodies to them. melodies that have been used by everyone who bought his pack...
@@LeChapeauMusic I'll be in Thessaloniki in a few weeks if you want to talk about this. People have sampled melodies for years and years and years. Beethoven even sampled Mozarts. You can change around MIDI to if it gives a starting point yes it will make your tracks sound more pressional.

@@LeChapeauMusic hahahaha I liked your stuff :) half the customers aren't beginners. When you just drag and drop and don't make it your own, it can def be not as good.
Nathan, you are an inspiration man!! Every single time when I watch the production video of yours, it apparently imparts production ideas which I would have been lacking for a very long time. These are some unforgettable pieces of help. Kudos to you.
Wow! @Nathan did it more to feel'in (a lot of variations, travelling through different vibes) however, I'm more in love with @Alex's version cause this literally threw me out of my bed and I started to jump. Obviously it's pumped up EDM! Bravo!! 👏 Could you guys please share the full songs from both of you? Thanks!
Hi Great content! I find Alex's chord progression more pleasant to listen to, more predictable but easier on the ears..I loved the sfx's from you more....Great job both of you! Well done..really enjoyed listening to you 2 and your explanations about creating those different style versions!
While Nathan's production had more advanced musical direction and sound design, I simply can't get enough of Alex's version. Simple though it may be, it's so catchy and it just makes you dance.
I'm more of an EDM listener and Alex did it very great.... But Nathan your song was just out of blue ...like legit i don't often listen to pop songs but you genereated interest in me about pop songs really man both songs are different unique and special in their own way..Loved it❣
This is super difficult to choose - both have incredible elements and ideas to draw the listener in… my heart is embedded in pop and Nathan won my soul on this, it doesn’t take away how incredible Alex’s version is. Nathan for this one 🙏
This was Super fun! I am a huge fan of both of y'all and actually watch both of your channels! Agh! its so hard! I like them both so much! I really like the way Alex built up the chorus and added the choppy vocals and the bending bass, but I really liked the story you get with Nathans, and I loved how Nathan right before the dreamy part, he went up with his Chords and added a diminished chord!! great job both of you!! I've done a producer battle once and it was super fun!! Would totally love to do one with @Nathan James Larson and @Alex Rome!!!
Nathan nailed it , the rhythm programmed by Nathan definitely stands out and the ending is the big difference as Nathan adds to the feel of the words whereas Alex's one goes to a party type ......
Been a fan and learned a lot watching Alex's videos. And I am pretty sure Alex did a great job on this even if the vocals or more perfect for pop. He could have put a riser before the vocal chops so the anticipation is still there. But still, one vote for Alex!
As an EDM lover, I love Alex's more because the sequence was so good. From subtle, until it built up, to finally give us the drop we needed with the oh-so-brilliant vocal chops~
I can't stop myself from commenting. Honestly, I liked POP more but the way Alex piece sounded was so party vibe and naturally dope. Great work both of you. I got too much inspiration from this battle.
Great tracks both! Also just wanted to say, Nathan, I appreciate the exactness and positivity of your vocabulary. Instead of saying "good bass" or "I like that", you'll say stuff like "growly bass" or "drippy orchestral". Makes for more engaging and interesting commentary. Improves my vocab as well. Thanks!
one of the most beautiful videos, again.. I can't believe it missed it an never saw it before yet. How could I not see it two years long? I love Nathans track too, but Alex's one just made me get up and start dancing, and had strong Alan Walker kinda vibe to it :)
