I downloaded this concert to see if I'd like this band. They have become one of my favorites. Lots of good songs in this show. "Victory dance" is crazy good
@James Dodd this was at the end of an almost three hour show and he had been performing on and off for 8 hours so that's why his voice was a little worn.
hmmm....when I was standing in the crowd I didn't get the feeling he was serious about this. for god sakes he threw bananas in the crowd. sounds like a real serious time to me.
They didnt pretend to do a great cover of this song. They was really enjoying themselves and enterteimning their public. I dont expect that a rock band take so seriously a George Michael song, and I dont say this isnt a masterpiece but you know...

I love me some MMJ , but agree w/ most comments that it doesn't live up to alot of other great covers they do. Dig Carl as guitarist and appreciate his versatility, but he's not great on sax. Why not bring out the cat from PHJB? Jims' vocals not top notch either... not enough "funk" from Tommy,Pat & Bo. I like that MMJ don't take themselves to seriously, but the bananas thing, while fun, doesn't add much. I really like Seether's cover of this classic!
