Cardrona is by far my favourite of the South Island fields as an intermediate(bad) skier. exploring all the blues and greens will take the whole morning and there are lots of opportunities to take different routes. I love queenstown return, especially as it is usually empty except at peak time.
I'm a local and with the ticket if you buy it there is a kiosk which prints your pass right there, its very easy. I also haven't seen that good snow untouched in ages lol
Excellent thorough video and having just returned, definitely accurate. What were they thinking when they lead everyone to Whitestar? I tried to avoid it, but once you start at the lower slopes, there is no way back!!!
Not sure what happened to the outro music, but it will be back for future Insider's Guides, for anybody who cares.

Awesome, I learned how to ski on Cardrona, this is a fun video to revisit it after what feels like a long time!

Cardrona is going to become a lot bigger next year! Adding new area in the Soho basin that will make it the largest resort in the country
As a Kiwi I couldn't have done a better job myself. Great guide!
