BOOM!1 It's been 2 years since I did an Amaranthe reaction! Can you believe it? Their lineup has remained the same and today we take a look at the latest single from the 3-vocalist team. It's another first-time reaction from me and there's some unexpected surprises in this video, so it was very fun this time around. Great job to the band on a killer single!

I listen to both Amaranthe and Dynasty, I did not put that together, my mind just got blown
I'm a bit late to the party.. But the second verse where Henrik (GG6) really picks up was one take in studio. They posted it on Instagram, it was mind-blowing at the time, and had me SO excited for this song.
Nils is awesome!!! One of the best male singer of metal scenario!!
The attention of this channel for metal is what I love the most!
That album is on my repeat since the 1st day - Viral, Adrenaline, Crystaline, Archangel, Strong - so many good songs. My workout is on fire. Also - I would recommend a review on Nill Molin band - Dynazty - I'm serious impressed by him, such a beautiful and rich tone. I have a lot to learn from him. He can sing pretty different from Amaranthe, more agressive and more "rock".

Sweden and metal is on top right now.. heres some examples of some swedish bands atm... Amaranthe..Sabaton...Arch Enemy... Avatar..In Flames.. Ghost... Opeth.. Dark Tranguillity... Soilwork..Meshuggah.. Evergrey.. Hammerfall..... this is just to name a few of MANY !! 🤘🤘🤘
Brothers of Metal a is really good powermetal band, and also Swedish. Ylva Ericksson's voice is MASSIVE.
I do love the variety that comes with their 3 vocalist format. Switching out who is featured from song to song is a very simple, but extremely effective way to keep things fresh!
Fun fact about this song (came back to this after doing some research): The second verse is about 6.26 syllables per second troughout the fast part (15 seconds, give or take). That's Absolutely insane articulation, and really goes to show just how good Henrik is.
Im glad i wasnt the only person to nerd out over elize screaming and heidi from the butcher babies apearing !
Never heard rap done with growls....i like it!! Amaranthe never disappoints!!

Henrik wins by default he has almost same speed but using growling makes it a lot harder for him then Eminem.
If you like this you should look up the Rap God cover that The Animal In Me did.
I think it's great you are reacting to Amaranthe, they are a very underrated band and have such a great harmonious mix of music elements, would you consider reacting to some of their other work? They have some new great songs like Fearless and Archangel and I think you will really like them

It's not the first time of growling Elize. She did it also in 'Amaranthine' on the acoustic evening in Berlin October 2018. And the writing of "Boom!1" is intentional according to GG6.

Love 'em or hate 'em, Amaranthe has a _lot_ of talent. I have to give respect where it's due, even if they're not constantly in my playlist rotation.
I'm kinda bummed that we didn't get any vocals out of Elize in this song other than her little harsh part, though.

@@Wheresthepepsibismol People are entitled to their tastes. If they hate on something they don't even regularly listen to (or admit to listening to!) for no reason other than calling it 'gay', they're not worth listening to, themselves.
I have friends who hate on Amaranthe and symphonic and seemingly all female-fronted bands. I listen to blackened death, melodeath, thrash, symphonic, hip hop, darksynth, old, new, whatever - and I also listen to bands like Amaranthe, New Years Day, Follow the Cipher, etc. I don't really care about what they think. In fact, I like to troll them and tell them all about the latest Amaranthe news and act like the biggest fanboy just to annoy them :).

You absolutely cannot go wrong with Amaranthe. Not a bad song in their entire discography. I was actually hoping for a breakdown of Nils (male clean vocalist) technique on a song where hes a but more front and center. He sings with a lot of grit too and I was curious where that safely begins and where the clean ends.

Hey Mary! I am trying to work out if GG is using false cord or fry scream when he's doing his harsh rapping style. I wanna say fry (due to the longer breath it allows) but I am gonna attempt it with false cord at home (sadly my fry screaming just sounds too soft and girly these days)! Hah! Ok, this was a music video with guns. I implore you to check out Gun Drummer and his cover of Sparta by Sabaton. If you did a reaction video it’d make my day, it’s really just for fun though as he does not cover vocals. Just drums in a super unique and sweet way.

Love your knowledge,like actually recognizing Heidi (i think you are the first one that points her out,well that i have seen anyway),you totally won me over being excited on Elizes behalf then Henrik took over and blew your mind lol. I think few people actually thought that Elize with her light,cute sounding voice could go there.....but you never tell her what she cant do,i have learned to know lol. Its no coincidence why Henrik is my absolute favourite growler/screamer/harsh vocalist. Alissa White Gluz is a Queen to me,but i wish they would let her go more versatile in more songs. Like in "Reason To Believe" where she truly shines. Vicky Psarakis is also out of this world good at all vocal styles. The thing with most vocalists out there,is that i either cant hear the words they try to deliever while being in "harsh mode",or they simply overdo it. Oh i almost forgot my second favourite male vocalist Devin Townsend. Henrik and Devy seems to know exactly how to do it,without it sounding too much/too little either way. They have mastered and perfected theyr craft. And like you say,they flex hard lol. But hey,if you got it,flaunt it right?
Anyway,i genuinly loved your reaction. You analyzed them without it becoming too much,you mixed it up with showing that you are updated on many fronts,as well as being charming and funny on top of it. Wonderful reaction! Normally i spend months upon months before subbing to channels,i think i just want to make sure that its worth it. But consider me subbed already now,as you won me over quite quickly.

I'm trying so hard from one week to learn this song, i do hard singing from 10 years but this song, so fast, so good, so badass, and with one week of practice i only can do the first part of the song... with lyrics face to me 😭 it's very dificult (sorry for bad english, i'm french for my apologies 😂)

The first time I saw them live, a friend and I started to count how many times Elize Ryd was off key. When we both ran out of fingers about ten minutes later, it stopped being funny. I sincerely hope it's not that bad anymore.

Also, as a life long metal head I've never understood this "omg this great female vocalist who has a beautiful, amazing, sensual, *female* voice growls in this one".

The type of metal is pretty strange. I guess because of the mixture of different styles of metal makes it unique. I guess i'm just old school with staying in your lane...
