THE SUCCESSOR

For a long time, "PERILOUS FIGHT" aka Dreamsong 4 stayed as my favorite creation. I really thought I couldn't surpass it. But it happened. In my opinion, this is my best piece yet.
It was supposed to be used in a game, since I participated in the Pirate Software Gamejam 16, but my team said that this song was too epic for our stupid little game, so I rebranded it. Instead of "I HOPE THIS STICKS" it is now named "THE SUCCESSOR", and you can derive whatever meaning you want from it.
...hi, this is me from the future and... Perilous fight is still better. I just can't help it. Sorry, past me, but you didn't surpass anything.

i love the melodies on this, i also found the string writing to be extremely well thought out, strings written for strings, not just a pad
