  • Classic Car Addict would like to present this 1971 Chevrolet El Camino with 39,779 miles for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. This 1971 El Camino is an 8cyl 307, 3 speed automatic. It was built at GM’s Kansas City, MO plant. In the mid-to-late 1960s, GM could do no wrong. Everybody's uncle drove an Impala; every well-meaning orthodontist drove a Cutlass; and every teenaged speed freak lusted after one of GM's many cult muscle cars. There were plenty to fight over: Once GM cracked the now-ubiquitous formula of big engine/small car, just about every A-body to which the General applied said formula turned to marketing gold.
    EXTERIOR
The 1971 El Camino got fresh front-end styling (again shared with the Chevelle) that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. It is factory color code 67 Classic Copper and the Silver was added to the bottom in 2016. The Classic Copper is such awesome color on any El Camino, just gives us the ‘ultimate classic feeling’. Carpet and pad are featured in Dark Gold and is great condition with slight wear. Paint is still in great condition; we give it an 8 out of 10.
    INTERIOR
This El Camino interior is near flawless; the Antique Light Sandalwood vinyl has no rips, tears, or stains can be found. Bench seats, door panels, center console and dash have a clean style. Has an upgraded Sony AM/FM/cassette player. This El Camino is also equipped with new Vintage Air. All gauges work properly. Headlights, break lights, and blinkers all are in working order as well.
    POWERTRAIN
307 CID V8 engine, Edelbrock 1406 carb, Shorty headers, power steering, power disc brakes with a new master cylinder power booster with all four new break lines. A 10 bolt posi-traction rear end. It fires up readily and sounds strong. This beauty is ready to hit the streets or showoff at the local cruise nights.
    CHASSIS
The 116-inch wheelbase that all 1970-1972 El Caminos utilized came courtesy of their boxed-rail perimeter frames with welded front and rear cross-members. This heavy-duty frame was shared with station wagons and is interchangeable with those underpinning 1968-1972 wagons and El Caminos. It rides on McLean rims, Eclipse white wall P215/70R/15 on front and P225/70/R15 on the rear.
    DOCUMENTATION/EXTRAS
This El Camino comes with sales literature, receipts, catalogs and two sets of keys. This vehicle will be sold on a clean Arizona title. Be sure to check out 100+ HD photos and video at ww.classiccaraddict.com.
