    Nice Elco however the hood is the standard SS hood and not the "cowl induction" hood. #1 it would not have the emblems. #2 having the CI air cleaner is useless without the hood to go with it, no way for air to get from the cowl to the cleaner with this hood. For the comment about a/c: It was only the LS6 454 that was without a/c. The LS5 and the 402's (396) had a/c.

    Beautiful! Maybe a nitpicky thing but the spacing on teh SS are way off...makes one suspect to its being atrue SS or having replacment panels.
    Still clean though!! Those figures on restoring are way conservative. Easy to blow 100k on a complete all new frame off and mechanicals. Used to be 10k could get you a super nice/built musclecar.

    I have a 1970 that has never been touched all original it still has the charcoal canister and stock 350 and TH-350 I am doing a motor swap putting a 454 that I got for free but I am keeping all the original parts

    nah your right about the AC but the dash is wrong....there is supposed to be a tachometer on the left with a redline of 5500rpm. inter alia....

      thats not even brand new thats brand new,and using brand specific stuff.
      i have a 73 thats in decent shape and with all the parts iv already got and a new paint job i will have less than 10,000 in it when its fully restored

    I have a 73 GMC Sprint and it has a 75 Laguna front end on it....with the 454 and it puts that 71 to shame....he is right about one thing if you restore the car your self to that quality its gonna cost you about 40k ..I know I did all the work on my car and it cost me 36k ..but mine is a lot better than stock check it out on You Tube ...(1973 elcamino restoration part 27)...judge foe yourself

      I have. Some. Seriousl interest I. The 1971 454 SS Automatic cranberry. Red do you take trades in on your vehicles either a 1951. Merc Convertable not chopped. Rat rod with a 351 Cleveland motor c-6 transmission. Motor all chrome and also have a 2015 platinum. Lariat crewcab Pearl white bought brand new have original window sticker is completely loaded with extras and only has 17,680 original miles on it have titles for both and cash call me at +13864813567.
