Finding My Trail Feet | Trail Running The Tarmachan Ridge

Meall nan Tarmachan is one of the easier Munros to reach in good weather thanks to a high level start point, but it is really just the start of a rocky ridge traverse which is one of the most interesting in the Southern Highlands. There is a short, avoidable scramble on the descent from Meall Garbh.

I'll not do that anymore - I'm 73. But I loved when young, fit and stupid. Running up and down from Thoiry to the Ain Cross on the Jura, running down the Stone Chute from Aonach Eagach. Magic. Life is immediate, in the moment.
