I have memories of being so little, 4 or 5 and listening to this, and it scared the hell out of me. Now I'm an obsessed horror fan, and it's hard to think it didn't start with this.
Amazing! I had this on tape cassette when I was little. I listened to it all October long in my bedroom with the lights off until the tape wore out. I was 5. It was 1988. I loved this. It’s my first time hearing it since then.
i owned this cassette way back when i was a strapping young fellow, about the age of 5. I use to love it would listen to it all the time, even fall asleep to it lol. but that was 20 years ago, and i haven't heard it since until today! Thank you for these memories. I still chant that ridiculous little chant in the A night in a graveyard side from the vampires, "I must have some blood to drink, I must have some flesh to eat!" lol that was the day i learned the word flesh too lol.. but i never could find this nor knew the name of it but now i do thanks to you good sir!!! I'm off to amazon haha
I know this is a old video but thank you for this it's like one of my old friends I do I haunted house every year and this was one of the tapes I used see you around
OMFG I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS ALL OVER!!! I GOT IT FROM A BOOK FORM BACK WHEN I WAS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!!!! THANK YOU SO DAMN MUCH. NOW JUST GOTTA FIND THE GRAVEYARD ONE!!!!!
For some reason, that ballroom reminds me of the ballroom scene in 'The Shining' in which Jack Nicholson walks up to the bartender (Joe Turkel) during the fancy 4th of July ball.
Entering The Haunted House There’s a big dark house near here, a very large derelict house. It’s known locally as Hangman’s Folly. This old mansion. Well, that’s what it really is. It’s built on a hill, a strange and barren hill. A place where birds don’t sing and animals won’t go. Horses shy, and dogs run with hackles raised in fright. Nothing much grows there anymore. It is a dank and desolate place where nobody stays for long. They say it’s haunted - but we don’t believe in such nonsense. Do we? Only the foolhardy would venture there at night. Mind the cobwebs. Stay close together, for this is the edge of darkness. The point of no return!
The Mad Organist Listen! Is that music I hear? This must be the organ room. [Toccata and Fugue in D minor [Bach]] Chamber Of Horrors This must be the gallery. What a chamber of horrors! Bats In The Belfry Don’t go up there, that’s the belfry. It’s full of bats. Laboratory There’s the mad professor, and he’s conducting more electrical experiments. [mad professor’s maniacal chuckles]
The Haunted Ballroom This must be the haunted ballroom. ['Ah! Sweet Mystery of Life'] Snakepit Look out! A snake pit! The Dungeons Where are we? We must be in the dungeons. The Hounds Of Hell Beware he mad gatekeeper and his hounds of hell. The Room Of Eternal Silence This is the room of eternal, and deadly silence. Where the unfortunate could hear a pin drop. [pin drop - window shatters] Long Fuse And Dynamite I know how to get out of here. With dynamite............and a long fuse. {Match strike, fuse light, explosion] Good night. Sleep well. Hah, ha, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

I seem to recall somewhere reading that Victor Borge was the organist for the Haunted Ballroom track. I think it was on the packaging of the cassette?
An organ room: goals.
3:37 ~ A dark mansion with an organ room with an organ played by Mr Lurch: **ULTIMATE GOALS** 🎹🧟♂️
The dream of many a politician 😂

CREEPY & WEIRD 🎃 2020...
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I'm right because I'm a Juggalo, but did the House Of Krazees sample this?
19:35 - Even though you know its coming, the Room of Eternal Silence is still scary.
Its DEADLY, that's why.
Can you make this downloadable?
4:57 Sonic.exe scream

Good Night! Sleep Well! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! 😈
I appreciate this, I lost both my cassette tape and cd version of this album. Happy Halloween 2021, and Let’s Go Brandon.!!🤗🇺🇸
10:46 Creepy Ballroom Music
I still can't figure out what's going on in the gallery. Is the lady being chased and trying to hide or is she being tortured? Hm.
Neither - she's having an orgasm. From all the organ playing.
Let the TelePhotoLens in your mind decide
no dungeons in the U.S
Good grief.. No more of that god awful screaming.. We get it, it supposed to be scary. But you would think the screaming could be limited.
Yeah, without this pioneering work, the world may well have been spared the indignities of screamo!
