I've met Father Stan Fortuna TWICE. Came to my country 3 times held a Youth Rally. The crowds double in numbers each year he came. Not only that he sings good songs but he evangelize. Its a unique of his trying to reach out to the young generations about God. I think what he is doing is nothing wrong. Rap or hip hoping it doesnt matter. As long his intention is good and YES he is Spreading the Good news. Im sure Our Father dont mind what he is doing. Carry on Father Stan. God Bless You

OMG Father Stan!!!!!!!! I haven't seen him since '94, He gave my family our first car in a time a much need and we didn't pay for anything, he is a true blessing. I can remember when he will come to my house with Christmas Gifts, back in the Bronx, NY. I will always have beautiful memories Father Stan and God Bless You. Familia Olivo.
I just came from a Mass at my church in Houston, where Father Stan Fortuna was the guest celebrant. Granted his style of homily was quite unorthodox, but that is probably what the modern church needs. One thing that amazed me about him was that he has such an amazing voice - easily rivaling the best vocal talent on American Idol or the X factor. His rendition of Amazing Grace was mesmerizing. It's unfortunate that there aren't more clips of him singing instead of rapping.

I absolutely love this song! I was at a retreat yesterday with the Franciscan friars Brother John-baptist and Father Emmanuel and they taught me so much about my faith. This song is so inspiring, And I can't wait to see him perform a spirit in the city! God bless xx

@mrPr0jects The point isn't to say that he knows how people feel. He couldn't possibly know that. The point is to say that no matter who you are, or what your living situation is, no one escapes from pain and suffering, and we just have to do the best we can to not let it force us into sin.

@MyLeny123 I agree and that was never my intention but not sure what you mean by christianity being christianity...my understanding of christianity is that we are not asked to change who we are but only what we do and Fr Stan is spreading the truth about what we should be doing in his own way which is who he is as a preist, so it is not some fake attempt at trying to get down with the kids...this is really just Great music with a message from the Heart.
Its not on mainstream because the majority of the people do not even consider that song to be socially acceptable. Not to diss christianity or catholic, but reality is reality

Whoa he sounds tonnes like Eminem in the chorus. And the song kinda sounds like Gangsta's Paradise. This would probably be better if the bass was more prominent. But it's good all-in-all.

Maybe if you watch some videos of Fr. Fortuna speaking, you wouldn't think him as a moron, but as a very wise and humble priest.
Amazing song, the part where the gun person shot the kid was actually true. It is so sad, all these crimes, some people have taken so many lives, and for that, their own lives should be taken too. I am now asking this from mine, and al the other people out there's hearts, too stop murdering and commiting crimes. Then, maybe we wouldn't have to suffer that, because you are tearing this beautiful world apart. Please follow our saviour, Jesus Christ and obey him and love him. Amen
