This will keep you from scraping the goodies. Just take a slim stick and poke the flan. If you can see a bit of the mixture sticking to the stick, it means that it is not done yet. If there is none, then your flan is good to go. Also, you have to consider the thickness of your flan when it comes to the period of steaming. Thicker flans take longer time to steam so it is advisable to have at least an inch of it than taking thicker. Well, it all depends on you.

puedeng puede po sa oven. i also prefer oven over steamer. sa steamer kasi kadalasan butas butas yung leche flan. sa oven, always smooth ang kalalabsan ng leche flan. first step, syempre, pre-heat oven at 180°C or 355°F. and then need mo lang po ng isang malaking pan na magkakasya yung mga llanera mo po for water bath method. i use 9x13" pan tapos 4 na medium llanera ang kasya. kailangan po hot water yung ilalagay, hindi cold or room temp. para sa water bath method. need macover ng tubig at least have ng height ng mga llanera. paki-google na lang po for description ng water bath method. then bake for 1 hour.

first step, syempre, pre-heat oven at 180°C or 355°F. and then need mo lang po ng isang malaking pan na magkakasya yung mga llanera mo po for water bath method. i use 9x13" pan tapos 4 na medium llanera ang kasya. kailangan po hot water yung ilalagay, hindi cold or room temp. para sa water bath method. need macover ng tubig at least have ng height ng mga llanera. paki-google na lang po for description ng water bath method. then bake for 1 hour.
