nobody duday I have underbite too! So I had it exactly how you will. So first you'll get your braces on, which can hurt for the first bit when you get it on. Than you will get that square shaped elastic, which can be sore and make you chew weird while it's in but that will wear off. Then you'll probably have your braces on for a little bit more, and then they'll take them off! I suggest having tylanol in the house. Take it for pain, and right before appointments. Pain usually lasts about 1-2 days!
Denis Mustafa it misaligned my teeth unnaturally so they move around and I grind them to try to move them back into place subconsciously. That happens to almost everyone that has had braces. You get terrible bruxism following orthodontic procedures.

After a couple of months of not going to my appointment due to covid, when I finally got back, I was suddenly given power chain and they hurt so bad. I was blessed with not feeling pain after every tightening appointment, so that was an eye opening moment for me. Hurts for 3 days and it was hard and it hurts to eat anything. Even bread. But the one that was a pain in my *$$ were definitely spacers. Had them on for a week and those whole week they hurt. It was also hard to eat cos I couldnt bite down my food as the spacers stopped my jaws more meeting each other.

When the teeth are pulled downward can that cause your face to grow downward? Because my teeth moved downward by accident and my upper lip area stretched. I’ve been told this is impossible yet it happened to me. No one can explain why my upper lip still covers my teeth the same way but my teeth are like 2-3mm lower than before. My face stretched out.
@@evelyngonzalez901 I saw a jaw surgeon who agrees with me that the treatment brought my entire face downward. He recommends surgery to impact my upper jaw upwards. Then my lip will be a bit longer than standard and I’d have to get a lip lift. I am so sorry this happened to you too. It completely destroyed my life.
