I have a JZX90 Chaser Tourer V with the 1JZ-GTE and have not done this job yet (my car has around 45k miles). Some videos mention a weighted socket or using a spray to freeze the bolt and then use a high torque Milwaukee or similar. Did you try either of those methods with no success? Though I think those videos were in a manual car with the gearbox in 5th. I am not sure how it would work in an automatic (mine is an automatic as well). I assume you need a took to hold the balance in place. I want to do mine as preventative maintenance but I am worried about having the same issue.
There is a tool to hold the balancer. I did use several impacts. The weighted socked didn’t work with the smaller of the 3 and wouldn’t fit with the condenser with the bigger two Had I added the amperage initially it would have saved me from having to take out the radiator Please subscribe :)
@@DrewGarage It is a Toyota Crown, not a Toyota Peasant, hence the complexity and according to Toyota's naming history they wouldn't even hesitate to produce one. 😂
