Pretty cool to remove 45lbs for the cat back system and remove 12lbs for the sport cats equal 57lbs(26kg) off of the rear end and adding 20 WHP(14+6) and 22ft.lbs(16+6, or 30Nm) at the wheels.
I have added the Sport Cats to my 2020 C8 HTC. The sound improvement is fantastic! My question to Paragon is how do I prevent the 'Check Engine Light' from being tripped? I have cleared the code but within a few miles the CEL once again comes on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Peter
Do you think it is possible to do this simply by removing the airbox? I feel like you would get to it if that was out of the way, without removing the tail end of the car and exhaust... Or am I wrong on that?
Man, I've watched this video over and over again. I appreciate the detailed step-by-step instructions but this one looks like a lot of work and my hands will be hella tired. I would do this on a 3-day weekend ans space it out.......eating top ramen noodles in between.
Couple questions, is that heat shielding you put on with 3 bolts part of you kit? And can you add sports cats with the stock exhaust, if so approx hp gains, and is car much louder with just sports cats? 5 % 10% louder. Thanks.
@@kurtthomas1687 The heat shielding installed at 9:45 is OEM and was removed earlier. There is no need for heat shields with our cats. They were track tested on two very hot days and we have no signs of any melting or any concerns.
According to the Magnuson-Moss Act, a vehicle manufacturer cannot automatically cancel your warranty just because you’ve installed aftermarket car parts. This is an illegal practice. That said, if your aftermarket part somehow causes or contributes to a failure in your vehicle, the dealer may be able to deny your warranty claim-as long as they can prove the connection. In these cases, the burden of proof is entirely on the dealership.
@@ParagonPerformance $50k motor goes out or DCT trans, GM would send out a representative, look at the ECU, look at the evidence of replaced cats, and immediately deny the warranty claim because you’ve directly modified factory emissions, which is also federally illegal to begin with. Find me a MM Act court case where it was actually used. I know you’re trying to sell your products, but unless you’re willing to sign off on covering denied warranty work, please don’t give people the wrong advice here.

Do you have a list of the torque specs for the hanger bolts and O2 sensor?
Whats the dB difference between stock and these, and did you see any uptick on the dyno?

Hi Peter, send us a email so we can resolve this issue.

If you are keeping the stock exhaust, can you leave the exhaust in place when installing the sport cats?
Unfortunately you have to remove the stock exhaust. The OEM cats are to big to remove any other way.
I was able to remove the cats without removing the bumper or exhaust. Wasn't too difficult.

Do you have to remove the exhaust to change the cats?
Yes
@@ParagonPerformance thanks
Do you have any video how to install on the C 8 Z 06
Same install process.
Ok. I’m sold on your exhaust. Now I’d like to hear sound clips of your cats and exhaust? Please.
Mee too. Need videos of the touring and sports cat together
Will this pass California smog ? 🤞
Not CARB certified
Great videos , How about a larger throttle body for more air to come in with a cool air intake , would that cancel out the car warranty
That's definitely going to cancel a warranty. Once tuning comes out I am sure there will be those options though.

You got this!
5:18, yeah they’ll just COME RIGHT OUT🙄
Very helpful!

Doesn’t this completely void factory warranty?

Nice!!! I am so excited for installation of Victor racing Stat wing!
Wrong wing, should have gotten a Verus Engineering wing which was designed specifically to the chassis using CFD software.
Will these cats pass state inspections?
i hate reading videos! have someone talk and explain what they're doing.
Lies it’s not E16 it’s Ep14
Sounds the same what a waste of money
