    I run the Ferro structural cummerbund which applies the same concept as the Bison and it was a definite game changer for my aging Mayflower APC. Between thicker shoulder pads and the structural cummerbund I can wear my plate carrier for much longer before getting fatigued. I'm willing to bet the Bison distributes weight better than most other inner/outer battle belts out there. If I didn't already have my Blue Alpha battle belt I'd definitely buy this one.

      The AXL equinox is a even nicer upgraded rigid cummerbund

    I just stumbled upon your channel, and ironically I've been eyeing the ferro bison belt for my girlfriend, as she's been wanting a belt for work. I tend to shy away from recommending her kit since I'm more accustomed to moving with heavy shit and being uncomfortable. And what works for me may not work for her. Good to know that's its a viable option for her.

    Recently started running the Wilder Tactical belt pad as well because I prefer being able to take the gun belt on and off and still have a stiff pants belt, plus the thickness helps keep the belt from slipping down or sagging. Really glad to see a guntuber I like on the same thought process!

    I’ve only ever personally run the Blue Alpha Gear molle belt, but fwiw it’s always worked super well for me and I really don’t have any complaints. I’m definitely interested in trying out the combination with the Wilder padded belt once it’s not 💯 degrees outside

    Took your idea about the wilder belt and added it my bison belt I’d gotten recently for going on shift. Absolutely awesome and feel your idea got me to the best setup I’ve ever had after 15 of service. The bison belt allows placing kit anywhere using one wrap Velcro and the wilder allows for not messing with too inner Velcro! Great video!

    I have some obsolete 20 year old belt. This seems like it would be a good alternative. I have their Slickster plate carrier and it is more than sufficient for my current Boomer requirements. Like your seriously understated fashion accessories.

    this channel feels like all of the philosophical dedication to gear and training as Senor Thumb without all of the military male vibrato stuff. there is a time and a place for both and I think channels like this do a damn good job of making a lot of that info more easily digestible for somebody who might cringe at all the charlie jokes over on GT.

    I picked up an arbor arms belt about 2 years ago after using a blackhawk belt for ~10 years. Really impressed with the quality for the price point. Only issue is that it didn't come with an internal velcro belt but depending on your use, its not needed.

    My favorite belt
    It’s simply the best
    Sleek, firm, modern with simple utilities
    In my opinion, only a few very recent belts have been able to compete with it

    • @gorps
      @gorps 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The AXL eclipse (especially with the upcoming inner belt) and the BFG CHLK are both a bit nicer, and the CHLK is older than the bison belt.

    • @DonRaynor
      @DonRaynor 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tbone5040 the piece of stiffener at the front.
      The Bison droops when you look how it sits on people. Where the Equinox makes a continuous stiff circle around you.
      That stiffness is why you we want these new plastic hardened belts in the first place.
      Also Blue Alpha gear has the new CHLK belt too, which has a continuous stiffener. Too bad it's mega expensive, and the rubber loops are off putting to me (personal problem I know)

    • @gorps
      @gorps 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It handles load better and has some neat features the bison belt doesn't. The innocuous rifle mag pouch for it is fairly neat too. As someone who has both I'd go with the eclipse every time

    For that crotch shot opening you should have shoved a pair of socks down there just to get people wondering 🤔 lol
    Super sweet belt. I have been looking for a better belt than the one that I have. My main thing is I want one where it attaches with a belt that goes through your belt. The only thing is most people I know that has one ends up doing what your doing where you skip the belt and just use a pad. So I'm wondering if it's to big of a pita to do???
