      TacticoolGirl Friend simply isn't as famous yet as the other gun / gun gear reviwers. For sure she is a lot easier on the eyes and more fun and enjoyable to watch. Love how she leads in her videos with footage of her training. Shows she does have a certain level of advanced training and definitely practices her skills and knows what she is talking about.

    Tacticool Girlfriend is still better equipped than my country's military.
    The arsenal: Here's a 4 part camo uniform in at least 3 different patterns and always varying states of sunbleach, a scratched up rifle from the 90's, a dented helmet from the 80's, (if you get promoted you get a pistol with bakelite grips from the 70's), knock off ALICE webbing from the late 60's, a gas mask and two pairs of boots made from mystery leather.
    Also the arsenal: Body armor? What, are you a knight? Would you like a lance too?

      @@atlasshrugged9093 Flannel Daddy is kind of fashy. InRangeTV and Forgotten Weapons have a lot of great content without the shitty politics

    • @Caligari87
      @Caligari87 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@atlasshrugged9093 Some suggestions from me in order of priority:
      InRangeTV and Forgotton Weapons are supremely informative and seem to lean progressive. InRange more obviously libertarian, FG is harder to pin down. Both are fairly low-key and easy to watch, often feature guests from other channels in their network, so those folks are usually a good bet too.
      LuckyGunner is one of the few I can watch without cringe. I get a moderate-right vibe but the presentation is 100% apolitical and lowkey, no fuddchuddery or hype-focused presentations. One of my favorites.
      Tacticool Girlfriend, obviously.
      TFBTV's moto is explicitly "no politics", I get vague boog vibes from their core presenters but they're also pretty fun and somewhat memey. Hoplopfheil is TFB-adjacent, typically apolitical and has good straightforward content with no fluff but I get /k/ommando vibes that might be problematic to some people.
      A few misc channels I sometimes check on: hickock45 is mostly apolitical and shunned the NRA (yay!), probably conservative-leaning. Demolition Ranch is all memes these days, but sometimes enjoyable. Polenar Tactical is lots of meme, but non-US so politics are less relevant to me. GreenLightShooting is local to me, fairly inoffensive and generic from what I've seen. 32icon offers a black female perspective on guns but is a bit too vloggy for my taste. Colion Noir seems like mostly a hypeman. Armed Scholar has annoying clickbait thumbnails but decent legal-focused content.
      Lots of slick-produced channels with former military or military-adjacent folks tend to give me rightwing/conservative/boogaloo/shallnotcomply/chud vibes, but also can have informative content so consume responsibly. Administrative Results, Tactical Hyve, GBRS Group, Forward Observations, Garand Thumb.
      Off the top of my head I personally do NOT recommend: TRex Arms/Lucas Botkin, IV8888, Military Arms Channel, Taran Tactical, or Warrior Poet Society. They've shown their true colors and aren't the kind of people I want to absorb things from.

      IMO OC agents are good.
      Sometimes, people are being stupid shits, you can't neither disengage freely nor make a good approach for effective melee, but still their hostile idiocy doesn't quite legally warrant lethal force.
      That's when the OC gets busted out. 9/10 times they disengage or make a dramatic scene over their eyelids swelling and nose flooding with mucous - letting you GTFO or apply restraint/KO with less risk.
      If they're mad enough or taking PCP, they might draw something lethal and try to use it, but their swelling eyes and noses would mean they have hard time making a connect. by then you have a better time and chance for taking that good shot that won't hit bystanders or sensitive objects.
      In short, OC can help obviate the need for an ass whooping or a shooting, and even if it deteriorates to either, it gives you a great leg up to do so. OC is an option when a square ass kicking isn't feasible. Whether you're a citizen or in public service, OC saves lives and lawyer fees.
      Still, as Papa Plaid says, everything are just tools. You're the weapon. So please, seek training if you want to add new tools to your daily kit. OC can hit you too esp in high winds.

    is it wierd i got the exact setup and gear as you just showed??? the only difference is that i doubled up and added molle attachements to the pistol mags so i can place them directly on my ar mag holders. i then added so cord for added security and to have cordage. my only thing im needing right now is a slight drop on my pistol holster so i can have a better feel and i have a I.C.E knife where the gloves should be. so if i ever get too close i can use my non-dominant hand to access the knife or dominant one any time i want. as for the why not drop leg??? theres a science to that. it causes too much weight on your leg so when you run its very noticable and slows you down. the slight drop is to better clear your pistol if you have body armor on or one of those quick deploy bags. last bit of advice........ change masks.... not saying having one is bad but change it up every week or so with different designs. ads more personality and more color kinda makes it more edgy more than the tacticool black. like you said its not the 90s anymore and its either camo in for some reason or what ever personality you are. im mixed black and tan with my gear and sport a gifted wolfpack designation hellhound which i hate but its a gift.

      You don't need plate carriers and war belts to protect your family. Wearing this stuff in a crisis is just painting a gigantic target on yourself.
      I watch this shit for kicks, its cool. But I would not wear this stuff if I thought there was a serious problem. You want to be a grey man, not a honey pot

      If you are on a budget, get some knock-off stuff directly from China (e.g. Aliexpress). Will it be "just as good"? Hell no, it will be cheap for a reason. Some of it is pure crap and will fall apart under any form of serious use. But if you pay some attention while shopping and don't just go for the absolute cheapest one, you can get some half decent gear that will get you started.
      I just took a 2 day course (tactical rifle/pistol, including being dragged over the ground as a simulated casualty a few times) over the weekend with my Aliexpress getup (belt, mag pouches, dump pouch, IFAK pouch, holster, slings). The mag pouches didn't hold up too well (but to be fair, they were like 2 EUR/piece and I already used them for a few years for regular competitive shooting), so now I'm looking for a better replacement. The belt, holster and slings held up great though, for a fraction of the cost of the real deal. Would they do just as well in a professional setting with daily hard use? Probably not. But I'm not a soldier, I'm not even playing one on the weekends (regularly). So if that usecase matches yours, you don't need to spend hundreds on gear that you probably can't afford. Get a complete setup for less than 50 bucks and spend the remaining money on ammo, range time and training. If stuff fails, figure out if you liked the design and it was simply an issue with built quality, or if the design itself was flawed. If you like the design, check out name brand stuff of the same style (it will obviously cost more, but it will most likely then also hold up). Otherwise, try out some other design to see if that works better for you.

    Hey TCG, are you still using the Tier 1 in this setup? Also, was it the case that the Safariland holster didn't have a P10C model at the time, thus why you mentioned trying the G19 model? Just wanted a little clarification since it seems Safariland has a P10C model now.

    • @TacticoolGirlfriend
      @TacticoolGirlfriend  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, I'm still using the Tier 1 for my CZ, but that's all taken quite a backseat to my Glock 19 that I shoot more often, with which I use my Safariland ALS holster. I'm glad Safariland is now making holsters for the CZ P10C now, but sadly, I don't have any experience with them.

    How do you figure out sizing? Is the sizing bases of off your pants sizing or measure around the waist?

    • @TacticoolGirlfriend
      @TacticoolGirlfriend  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Typically sizing goes off of wherever you're wearing the belt, so your natural waist is usually best.
