    Does the adjustment knob from C2 fits the 123go grinder? I lost the adjustment knob on my 123 go grinder 😢

    Great review, but I think you are a bit confused on the burr seasoning process. Even small burrs such as these require at least 5-10 KG of coffee to season

    • @HoneycombManila
      @HoneycombManila  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      that's true, but it's not realistic that the average consumer is gonna burn though so much coffee, especially on burrs that were originally hand grinder burrs. Imagine having to hand grind all that, 25 grams at a time!
      Usually, I recommend grinding rice instead. Then finishing it of with coffee. Or, you can let the grinder "improve over time" as it gets more and more seasoned and the imperfections round out.

      @@HoneycombManila I agree it’s not practical on a hand grinder, but eventually after a few months of use the grinder with be performing optimally

    What if the batteries fail? How many times is the charging limit? Batteries wear out over time. Can it be repaired?

    • @HoneycombManila
      @HoneycombManila  ปีที่แล้ว

      this is still to be seen, but we've used it daily for over a year, and there's been no dropoff in battery performance. once the battery is drained, you can still operate it plugged in. hopefully that's also the case with a dead batt.

      Thanks for watching. I got omicron-ed! So we are delayed in the actual review, but I've had a lot of time to test it over the holidays and in quarantine. Though this bout with covid didn't affect my taste perception, we did decide to let it pass and double check all the sensory after enough time had passed. I get back to the studio on Tuesday. Expect a Part 2 in a week or so. Stay subbed!
