I appreciate the video.A friend and I replaced the speakers in my front doors on my 2007 RAM 1500 Quad Cab Today and it was pretty simple. I used 4 Way Blaupunkt 6x9 700 watt coaxial speakers and they sound AWESOME.I was shocked at the difference in the sound they produced.I will be replacing the rear door speakers with the same model and brand for an even better sound.👍👏

I had to solder the ends on the wires so it took about 35 minutes and of course we put heat shrink tubing on the new connection after the solder job for protection. It was a very simple job and my New 6x9 Four Way Blaupunkt Coaxial Speakers sound AMAZING & the RAM 1500 Quad Cab is sounding much better.👍👏

Wait so, the truck shown in video has the infinity amp but the speakers that were in door looked newer and you put stock in it?? Can you not upgrade the infinity speakers or did crutchfield lie to us (crutchfield says the wiring will cause the amp to shut off with anything other than stock infinity door speakers in the front, and says the back two are powered by the hu)

I know this is old But I have pioneer 3 way 6x9 speakers in my front doors on my 05 ramwith the infinity system. the Amp works just fine, although it seems a little too powerful for the speakers, but I wasn't trying to spend 150+ for good 6x9 subwoofers. However, the amp still works and it sounds good. Just lost a considerable amount of bass.

Don't get too big of speakers because then your Windows won't roll down. Just learned that the hard way after I finished and tested them. Then went to roll the window and it didn't make it halfway

i just added a spacer on my 6x9 couldnt find one local didnt want to wait for amazon so i used a cut out and made a spacer out of plywood worked great

My 05 4.7 1500 series is plain Jane and I believe they are only 5.5 " front door speakers .

Yes. But you don't need it if you don't plan on putting stock speakers back in, you can just cut the wires and put a connector to fit the speaker terminals on the end of the wires

The handle should have a screw and you just loosen it and remove the handle.
