Awesome performance. This is a number on their first album where bassist Bootsy Collins adds some spoken backing; it's almost like Jimi Hendrix Experience had been resurrected as three Japanese teenagers.
This little girl is swiftly becoming my favorite guitar player. The drummer is tearing it up a little more here too. And of course the bass player is a monster as always. So glad they don't have a singer to screw up their sound. They just keep getting better.
I think they will eventually have guest singers on a couple of singles. They will soon be big enough to "select" or "allow" only the best and most famous singers to guest with them. They already had Bootsy Collins and Buckethead join them on the album that drops on 8/22. Asterism will be world wide.
Agree on the singer. It would change the whole character. On the other hand, they'd probably get more financial support. Personally, think they are great individually and better together.
