    When picking the card you want to play, you pick from 3 cards unless you have the treasure card that increases your hand to 4. If you run out of cards, reshuffle your discard pile and form a new deck.

      Do you discard the 3 cards and draw 3 new ones at the end of your turn? There was no mention of drawing new cards so I was under the impression you use the same 3 cards throughout the game until I saw this comment about running out of cards

      @@nitorishogiplayer3465 After the captain rolled the dice and decided which will be day and which night all players pick one of the 3 cards in their hands for their day/night actions. They keep the other 2 cards and draw the third one from the top of the pile at the start of the next round.
      When you run out of cards to draw from, you shuffle the pile of discarded cards, place them face down again and draw. So you always have 3 cards in your hand to choose from, and you always keep the 2 cards that you didn't use.

    One house rule we put into play is for each player in turn order to do their day action first, and then another round for the night actions. It just made more thematic sense given the time frame options on each card. Love your content. Great production quality (just changing the camera angles adds a nice feel/flow) and the tips for better play are a great addition, especially for someone like me who loses a lot!

    Thanks for providing a great service in teaching games. Definitely up there with Rodney Smith of "Watch it Played" in your ability to teach a game. Please keep it up :)

    Nice video, thanks!
    P.S . I recommend you cover Runewars in your next how to play (much bigger box for kitty to lay in:)

      Thank you! I will definitely check out Runewars. Peter is selective about the boxes he likes, it's very funny :)

    You buy a nice board game for your cat, and all they want to do is play with the box.

      I know!! I'm always curious when I get a board game if Peter will like the box, he has preferences :)

    if you have a Shortage and play the second edition, can move further than the starting line, or do you stop there?

    • @GamesMadeEasy
      @GamesMadeEasy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! I’m sorry I don’t have the rules of the second edition with me, so I can’t verify if it’s possible. I would assume yes as you can do it in the 1st edition. Sorry!

    can you recomand some games for 6 players?

    • @GamesMadeEasy
      @GamesMadeEasy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What kind of games do you like? I like Lords of waterdeep, but you need to get the expansion, Scoundrels of Skullport, to access the 6th player. Catan, but you need to get the extensions to access the 6 player count. Viticulture, 7 Wonders, Sheriff of Nottingham, Shadows over Camelot (coop game), Betrayal at house on the hill (coop - be mindful the haunt can be complicated). Skull (short and sweet), King on NY or Tokyo, Colt Express (fun, you interact with the other players, lots of laughs), Dune (the one published by GaleForce nine) best played with a full player count - 6 players. TI4, probably my favourite, but takes time to learn the rules and games can take 8+ hours. Battlestar Galactica, but it's out of print, there is a new game, called Unfathomable, that has similar game mechanics, but I have not played it. I hope this helps :)

    I always thought of Jamaica as a game that generates beautiful memories. But I never bought it because family games often provide low replayability for adult only groups.

    • @GamesMadeEasy
      @GamesMadeEasy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a very good point, I'm not sure how much replayability it would have with adults only.
