Ran into a blatant speed Hacker when I last played Oni. Saw them zooming on Lethal Pursuer and initially thought “Oh, they must be new because they’re using sprint burst too early” but then I caught up to them shortly after lethal went down to which they zoomed away 2x as fast as Sprint Burst allows and far too early for exhaustion to expire. I then quit on the spot, they then called me a “Baby Killer” while also smugly boasting that they were cheating.
The best was a wall hacking billy when i was running distortion, off the record and other aura perks. Knew exactly where everyone was at all times. I moonwalked and he knew where i was.... Then he came across the map when hes on the side. while i was working on a gen in the corner
I played against one the other week. They were literally faster than me. They kept trying to bait me into chasing them and then would go zooming off around a corner. It was so obvious and they seemed to get really annoyed when I ignored them.
Every cheater I ever versed was a survivor. Never seen a killer cheat or use hacks in game. It's ALWAYS speed hacking survivors. Wall hacks and TP hacks. Also, there is a hack making killers perks not proc. I didn't kno who the cheater was. So I reported all of them for using 3rd party software. Also, one survivor was suffering from the "sliding locker" movement glitch. That glitch was fixed around 2 years ago. That should have never been possible. Somebody in that trial was messing with game files and tried to subtle hack againts an aura reading build. Seen everyone with Lethal and other aura reading perks. When 2 gens was left. My aura reading MAGICALLY stopped working :D NoWhere to Hide wouldn't show me survivors behind a wall even tho I knew they was there. I'm all ears didn't proc after a survivor quick vaulted in chase. DCed and reported all of them. Glad I get punished and have to wait bc I don't feel like being cheated any further. Thanks Behavior🤦
I love that the cheating software is subscription based, makes it so those losers have to keep forking over cash instead of paying like 10 bucks once and having cheats forever.
i do not trust any company dealing with cheaters properly , every game has at least 30% of it's playerbase constantly cheating or subtle cheating and they do not deal with it THERE IS A SOLUTION but not even 1 company has taken it so it's clearly they endorse hacking , a few companies even said that hackers and their customers as well since they bought the game so yeah...they care about money not about players!
tbf, most cheat engines/scripts will eventually become detectable or patched my behaviour so they dont work. Even if you paid once eventually that version of the cheats would get you banned/ stop working.
I dont think there are any other games that have this tumor for a community i will say the avarage death threats are less then some other games but when it comes down to crying because ur bad hacking or just blaming anyone else then urself this game takes the fucking cake

it’s so bad that nothing will overturn the sheer number of reports the bot looks at. i was mass reported by a bunch of people in a blizzard game who were openly admitting to doing it because they were mad i was outplaying them. despite it being right there in the logs that they were planning on mass reporting me and falsely reporting me i still got banned and they got no repercussions. it's rough.
Imagine saying a swear word or a minor insult and your $2000 PS account gets banned. Trash talk is part of gaming, I used to do it alot back in 2012-2013 (COD lobbies). These Gen Z people have really thin skin

They don’t get banned because of a mass report, they probably got into a heated argument with the cheater and said something like “KYS or you *N word, the cheater reported their message and it went against rules and now they’re suspended. Comment above me is correct, I’m on ps5 and use to argue with ppl, even something as dumb as “you suck ass” will get your account suspended. They will come back with “this is why you’re suspended”.
I have never witnessed these kind of cheaters before. As if ruining the game was not enough, the cheaters are throwing another player's dedication and time out of the water for their own amusement and attention.
When your SBMM reaches a certain level you will see it all the time. Generally around the same time you will play against mostly TTV players. I mean pretty much every game. It will be subtle speed hacks at first. You will have players zooming after turning a corner. Fast heals. Small stuff. Then you will see blatant hacks. Flying, instant unhooks. At the worst end they can actually turn your internet off which in my opinion should lead to much more severe punishments than banning accounts. Personally I’ll be switching to something else. Game is very unbalanced at high SBMM as it is never mind getting into all the cheating nonsense. There are tons of alternative

Ran into a 4-stack all running speed and wall cheats the other day as Pyramid Head. I kept managing to hit them with my power to the point where they ran away everytime my terror radius was visible. Gotta love torment.

It happened to me once when I was Singularity, I had a Meg with the name "F*ck you killer". She had infinite Head On's, infinite crawling speed, I think she was going at 4.8 m/s at normal speed, because I couldn't catch up with her. She could even blind me by even looking at a wall, half of the game was me staying still because I just saw the screen constantly with the blinding animation. I sent an extensive report and I still haven't received any notice about what happened, and it was months ago, I think it was even last year.
Had a cheater while playing xenomorph who just blatently sped around the map, but they were so bad they ran around w a turret and stopped to set them up ended up bleeding them out my report came back today and they got banned, theyre definitely on the rise again and are after us normal casual players
I had a speed hacker 2 days ago who I couldn't catch with legion sprint. He ALWAYS slow vaulted though. So that alone gave me a down. Reported for exploits, next day bhvr said "thank you, appropriate action has been taken"
So here’s the thing. A cheater can go into a game and wiggle other ppl off, teleport them, give them a speed boost. That’s how op the cheat is. If that was the cheater, he would’ve just picked himself up. Person probably got framed and now banned. Innocent ppl are being framed by a secret cheater in the lobby. 💀

You can't be social on modern platforms anymore. Even simple curse words (same as the words found in-game) being used in messages will get you banned. Microsoft and Sony went so far into fighting toxicity that they over-corrected and completely sterilized their environments.

My guess is that they legit don't have the dev skills needed to combat the profitable hacking softwares. Although some of the blatant hacks are so damn obvious it makes BHVR look like pretty incompetent devs (on that front).

All I can say is FINALLY someone is talking about something I've been experiencing since i started this game. I've been playing the game for almost 2 years now and I'm not a streamer, but there are times when I've been playing against loads of cheaters. First time was like one of my first matches playing killer, and in general the game itself, so I didn't understand how the game worked, so I ignored a lot fo the odd stuff, but I had been getting bullied with flashlights, flashbangs, etc - and so i went to farm Billy's bloodweb for lightborn (i thought i could learn the game if i could avoid being blinded to no end). When I finally got it and equipped it, i went into this match against this swf and they took me to the Deathslinger's map, where they proceeded to stun me left and right at main (one player proceeded to deadhard to avoid going down at a locker, then hop in it and immediately hopped into it ans headon stunned me a second later). At the time, i thought that was just how those perks worked until i read the description (red flags everywhere). Whatever - I finally caught two people and felt so good, and i went for the pick up - only for the other downed person to get up (no big deal except they didn't have unbreakable) and flashlight save. I was like i have light born im fine and then got blinded for like 10 whole seconds, the last gen popped and the gates immediately opened. They proceeded to stand in the exit gates teabagging and clicking flashlights at me and blinding me until the timer was almost empty and then they ran out. I went swiftly to read up on perks and learn the game through watching others play, and learned I'd been playing with big-time cheaters from day one. 😂😂😂

Mass reports don’t do anything, and you can’t even mass report a random account unless you played a game with them, your bf probably got into a heated argument with the cheater and said something against terms, that’s why his Xbox account was suspended.

About 5 years ago I watched one video about bans in Overwatch. Some players were good at not popular characters. And their teammates reported them even though those players were good. And ofc they were banned.

I honestly don't know why BHVR doesn't add in in-game checks to see if players are doing things that are literally impossible. If a player randomly teleports to an exit, it should automatically be able to tell they're cheating. Even if they don't get straight up banned when it detects it (since their system might falsely ban people for BHVR's notoriously buggy trash), it should be worked in to some degree. Also, the game server should be able to tell the person "no, you can't do that" when they try something like that in-game. People using perks they don't have should be a prime example.

Exactly, yeah. It seems like it would be really simple to code something to at least keep track of impossible position changes and simply disconnect those players from the match. It probably wouldn't be able to catch super subtle cheaters, but it would be ***SOMETHING*** at the very least.
I don't know if that was the case, I once played with a hacker on the team and he was able to make the other survivors instantly leave the killer's shoulder, just like what happened with Mikaela on 07:10

THANKS IN ADVANCE - Bro, I have played a match as Myers on Hawkins (scrach mirrors build) and everytime i got a survivour, they stunned me and escaped the grab for no reason. no head on stun, no flashy save, pallet save couldn't be done due to no pallets nearby. That happened twice. Some survs also had wall and speed hacks. The most crazy part is I thought that 2 different survs that I downed - escaped the wiggle. That lead me to believe that the match had 2-3 cheaters. (3 of them had exactly same medkit with exactly same add-ons, they were seemingly SWF). However, then on Titkok I saw a guy playing with cheats, AND HE WAS ABLE to wiggle out any survivour from afar. It means cheaters can now make innocent people look like CHEATERS. WTF BEHAVIOUR????????
That was common in my experiences. One survivor had the "sliding" glitch that was fixed 2 years ago. That glitch should no longer exist. Another player might have wanted that person to look like the cheater. Also my perks stopped procing midway through the trial. Somebody was 100% hacking that game and no idea who. Told them at end game chat, no idea who it is. But, im reporting all of you.
This happened to me, you get 4 bans events, 1 day, multi days, then 22 days, finally a year suspension. You cannot appeal the 1 day suspension, but you must file an appeal for everyone after that.
I've dealt with a few hackers but thank god I never ran into someone like this. Closest I got was having my entire kit disabled (only could walk and break pallets, nothing else) and having survivors teleport away from me or just teleporting me to one spot over and over again. I feel bad for these people who got banned for just wanting to play the game. Screw people like this honestly
Cheaters can go in and play normal, frame someone and they get reported. I was watching Selena stream and the Dwight kept wiggling off and the streamer told his 200 ish viewers to go mass report the Dwight. End game chat he swore on his life he wasn’t cheating. Streamer said he clipped it and will be sending it in 💀 Voidtodos (cheating TH-camr) has even showcased it’s possible to wiggle / teleport other ppl. He has a whole video of him going in and framing other ppl.
On the days of March 2 and 3 of 2024 this past weekend, I saw more cheaters going after flash light saves than I'd care to say. Saw someone across the map speed hack in about 2 seconds, get the flashlight save, nod their head, and still actually die in the game. Then saw someone do the same thing against a plague, then forced all the pools to be cleansed so the plague gets their power without infecting anyone. I purposely died for the plague because I was done with the cheaters. These are just two examples, but I had minimum 7 games where someone was moving too fast. It's a weird time to play dbd. I haven't seen any killers cheat yet. Just survivors going after flashlights really. I don't know how it helps, or makes them happy. I just know that I am a little sick of it. Edit: I saw three twins this weekend, which is more than I saw in the last two years combined. I saw around 7 cheaters (or people who looked a bit too fast an a convenient time w/o SB or another exhaustion perk) this weekend, which is more cheaters I've seen in the four or so years I've been on DBD. Edit again: I forgot there was one weird Huntress, but that could have been lag. Another player also said it looked weird, but we don't know.

I knew I wasn't crazy when I ran into two speedhacking killers and one hacking survivor back to back within three games! I thought I was just being overly paranoid until I saw this.
A few days ago i was playing with a friend, there was a Claudette that somehow was making me wiggle off of the killer to force a survivor win (almost certain it was this player anyway). I asked my friend if it would be possible that id get banned because of this and we both reported and left it at that.... i really hope it wouldnt be possible to get banned this way. UPDATE: this was clearly malicious and it just made me ponder, because if other players where reporting me like i was the cheater, would this auto system ban me? hm.
Yes you can get ban for playing with hackers. Someone was ban for streaming his experiences playing with hackers. Spooknjooks made a video about a certain manchild playing with hackers. Dude obviously knew the hacker was cheating. He was teaming up with him but always acted like he never knew him. Even tho he ONLY played when the hacker was around. Some psychotic cringey @ss man child who acts surprised on stream everytime his cheater buddy made it obvious. Lastly, Dude always ended stream when the "suspicious" guy he played EVERY TRIAL with decided to quit for the day. Go watch it, it's the most cringey @ss streamer I ever witnessed. Bet Dude wears a diaper to bed.
7:15 just a note cheater doesn't necessarily has to be mikaela. They could be the other 3. There is a cheat that allows automatic wiggle off or full blind while you picking someone
About that Mikaela clip. That has been happening to me recently where killer picks me up and I instantly wiggle off without DS. Maybe there were cheaters in my game who did that but it could also be a bug. It happened to me twice so far.
I blame gaming companies. Most of them are lazy when come to "game content(s)". What is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to crank out content(s)? Most will games dev will create some sort of "competition multi player exp reward farming system" or whatever. What does "competition" leads too? -->MORE Hackers and cheaters.
I had a cheater in my game gaslight the killer into believing I was cheating and sandbagging. The killer (a streamer) took the bait and proceeded to say terrible things about me to their chat and everything. It was awful. The cheater then DM’d me “lol” with some slurs for extra hurt after I stopped trying to defend myself. This is soo funny that this happened to me and I’m seeing this video. I thought I was losing it. I didn’t get banned. I did message BHVR with the VOD (no response). It’s private video and has like 100 views so they’ve seen it. I honestly haven’t played DBD in like over a year because of this. I login to buy skins and log off.
Haven't had a cheater in years, played against one the other day as Trapper. It was so funny, I'd see them on a gen with Gearhead, head over, they'd be gone. I'd see them on a gen on the other side of the map and just went "Huh, that's nice." I will never understand cheaters.

They went behind a rock, I go and check behind the rock, they’re gone. I never broke line of sight, there was no possible way they could’ve sneaked by me without me seeing them leave behind that rock. I reported it and got a message a few days later thanking me for my in game report, so it has nothing to do with them pulling a play lmao. I never accuse people of cheating, but this was so blatantly obvious I just found it super funny. Have a good day tho.

This is saddly becoming a new thing where cheaters will now target the general masses to get them banned. I wish this was the first time this week i've seen this kind of behaivor but this is a daily occurance.
Cheaters also seem to be able to lower their MMR and see the killer in the lobby. I run into them more often on my least played killers (freddy, trapper, etc) that I don't 4k with and just do dailies. It's really obvious too. However when I play Nurse or Hillbilly that I 4k with often, I rarely see them and often have players or groups leaving the lobby shortly after I join. Pretty suspicious.
I had the same issue last month. A swf of Kate Densons, all hacking, tried to bully squad me on a swamp map. Funnily enough one of them was even a YT who advertised themselves as a P100 nurse main. At least the YT and the most blatant hacker got banned (always keep your clipping software open)
I’ve experienced a lot of hackers lately. I’ve gone against a Billy twice that downed all of us immediately at the start of the match and then left us slugged. Both times I reported him, and the second time i noticed he had a new account bc he was a lower prestige than before. so sad that people feel the need to cheat.
Cheaters are in full force in all avenues of multiplayer video games these last couple years. It's odd, something about anti-cheat companies not putting in the same amount of work load compared to the massive underground cheating effort.
I have encountered several cheaters in Friday the 13th. I'm not being a salty Jason either. Literally one day they started showing up and the tell was that they were all level 150. They would have infinite health sprays, infinite stamina, increased speed (not the perk that does that. This increases it even more than the perk does), and infinite pocket knives. I encountered one hacked Jason and I know it was because the textures were changed and that Jason far faster than normal and had extended grab reach. As far as DbD goes perhaps a killer or two ran faster than possible and maybe somehow always knew where the survivors were. Also once found a killer and survivor working in tandem but never anything that bad. I remember one day playing MW2 all the hackers and modders just randomly showed up one weekend. It was strange.
This is honestly just something that's a part of live service games now. You don't own anything, and you will be happy. I moved away from live service games and PlayStation entirely for similar reasons, despite having my account since Feb '08 and having every PS console since PS1.
I've gotten some over here on the Asia servers in Japan. I've had a match as Sadako with her iri add-on to see auras around TVs and caught her zooming while crouched. I stood on Hatch thinking I could maybe prevent her from escaping and she DCd. Like, the game ended and her icon said she DCd, no bot replaced her, no escape, no death. Just DC like the way the old DC used to work. Crazy stuff. None of em got banned tho and all were anonymous ofc.
what if bhvr ordered the in-game reports by playtime? reports from accounts with the highest playtime would be sorted to the top and be read by a human, while low-hour accounts (
The fact that the hackers claim that it's on the company when it comes to the bans and that it should rarely happen otherwise is still so scummy to me. Especially given this trend. They can literally make it look to the company like you are the problem and get you banned yet will point at company as if they are the issue in that equation rather than hackers maliciously going after people like that.
I've noticed several times in the past month or two that there's also some kind of bug? Causing random situations of people instantly dying from a hit, people dying with half their bleed timer still to go, people getting knocked off the killer with only half progress (people in my swf who were confused af what happened for each of these). Something's a lil wonky with the game overall
A few months back i was playing doctor against a guy who could phase through the floor, blind me through the back of my own head etc His teammate tried to take advantage of it but I secured that kill by putting Mr cheater into tier 3 so he couldn't save
You should be able to sue cheaters for the full value of Xbox subscription (or whatever they have) period you were denied because of them + legal fees. Who knows, perhaps the threat of spending a few days in arrest and having your private info exposed would make them rethink things.
This reminds me of a match I played of Lights Out against a cheater. I was playing Wesker against 4 Kates on the Knight's map. It started out like a normal match. I got 1 hook, then downed another survivor inside main building. I picked them up and carried them towards the hook that is spawns right outside main building, but they wiggled off right before I got there. This felt really weird because I knew the hook wasn't far enough for them to get off. I downed them again, then carried them to another hook but they wiggled off again, thus time much faster than before. Once I downed them again and picked them up, they wiggled off instantly as if they hit me with a DS. I knew immediately that I was dealing with a cheater at that point, so I downed them again and left them slugged. After that, I chased someone else and downed them, but when I picked them up, they got off instantly like the other person. This happened every time I tried picking someone up after this point, so I decided to slug. Then, I noticed someone healing the slugged people so I went to hit them but they instantly telleported away. After a few seconds, the slugged person got up from the ground without anyone on top of them healing them. I responded by just hitting them again to redown them. Eventually, I went to hit someone who was working on a gen but they were invincible. My attacks didn't even hit them despite being right next to them, and I couldn't grab them off the gen either. Also, at one point, the cheater teleported into the sky while I was charging my power. 2 players DCed, 1 decided to bleed out, and once the last normal player left bled out, the cheater completed the last gen and left, which allowed me to hook both bots that were left bleeding out on the ground. I'm just a normal player. I don't stream or make content on TH-cam or Tiktok, so I was genuinely surprised that I was experiencing blatant cheating on a level that you normally see streamers dealing with from stream snipers. Edit: I did report the cheater and got a response from BHVR saying they took action against the person I reported, so I'm glad that bozo had to buy a new account because of me.
I don't think it's likely this person aggravated the cheater first. Cheaters are already aggravated, THAT IS WHY THEY CHEAT. A cheater could see a player simply playing the same character as someone that pissed them off once, and make that player their new target of misery. Once a cheater has crossed the line of toxic cheating, they will nearly always become drunk on power. At that point their decisions have nothing to do with their targets anymore.

I feel like BHVR should invest time in a sort of detection system like this: "If player uses a perk's effects but the game does not detect the player having the perk in loadout, player gets flagged for possible cheats." "If player goes a certain distance within a certain time frame, player gets flagged for possible cheats." "If player is in hook state for 30 seconds after the endgame collapse ends, player is automatically banned." "If player is using Killer power of another Killer, player is automatically banned." Things with a lot of nuance and would require a ton of effort and knowledge as to what should be flagged or what is a bannable behavior. As for Microsoft, those guys need to hire a hundred people to start reading reports, because what the hell, that's a stupid automated system.
the problem with CoconutRTS' video is, that his example of a cheater in his game can very likely be a false positive also. Had it happen that the cheater triggered fast wiggles and fast heals for the rest of the survivors. Other than that I appreciate your work Coconut! Points light into the downsides of using automation (AI) extensivly without checks and balances. Note: Valve used their (weak) AI-AntiCheat in CS:GO only in conjunction with manual reviews (aka Overwatch). Positives from the AI-System got queued up for Overwatch reports. The good thing is you can send a support ticket to behavior and they can fix your account especially if you video proof of your old stats For older games it was way harder and before streaming was easier

They def got into messaging back and forth after the game, they’re only showing parts of the cheater’s message but none of theirs. I’m 100% sure they got salty cause of the cheater, exchanged nasty words and perhaps even slurs, cheater reported their messages and Xbox detected the use of those words and that’s why they’re suspended. Bro, I have played a match as Myers on Hawkins (scrach mirrors build) and everytime i got a survivour, they stunned me and escaped the grab for no reason. no head on stun, no flashy save, pallet save couldn't be done due to no pallets nearby. That happened twice. Some survs also had wall and speed hacks. The most crazy part is I thought that 2 different survs that I downed - escaped the wiggle. That lead me to believe that the match had 2-3 cheaters. (3 of them had exactly same medkit with exactly same add-ons, they were seemingly SWF). However, then on Titkok I saw a guy playing with cheats, AND HE WAS ABLE to wiggle out any survivour from afar. It means cheaters can now make innocent people look like CHEATERS. Behavior actually does something against cheaters! They take quite a bit of time (probably because the amount of reports is huge) and they suck at preventing cheaters to begin with, but once in a while I get messages from Behavior telling me they acted on a report I've made. They actually do something; they just take some time to do it.
The Xbox report system is a joke. Someone messaged me saying they hope I get r*ped bc I won the game, I reported it and they didn’t get banned. Between the toxicity of the game and the unsolved cheating in it, I'm honestly surprised that people are still willing to waste time, and especially money, on it.
I once had survivor hacker in my game, that was doing gens extremely fast. I could tell, cuz I had tinkerer, and that was the only way I could tell. Tinkerer popped, and not even 1 second later, the gen was done. But this was long ago, before "console" players existed in DBD (the world icon players). Brand new part was already reworked there. In the end game screen, I went onto his steam profile, and reported him there. All other players did too. Some minutes later that guy wrote on my profile comment section, asked what he did wrong and why people report him and write -reps onto his profile. Turns out, that hacker somehow was able to link that guy's profile into his ingame DBD screen, so no one could find the hackers Steam account and SteamID and everyone would report the wrong guy and get that guy banned instead. The hacker just used the name of that guy. I still dont know to this day, how he was able to do that, linking another's stream profile ingame.
Faced a player who was far too fast a few days ago. They had hope but I could barely catch up to them even before exit gates were powered and that speed didn't change even after they were powered, eventually they turned a corner around shack and flat out vanished. Never hooked her once the entire match. I reported because chasing for almost 5 minutes and still not catching her even with blood lust 1 or 2, doesn't make sense. Not to mention that I was never able to gain blood lust 3 as she'd either loop me too well to the point were it was useless even with it forcing me to break a pallet. Or the bloodlust would just randomly end. She was way too good for my level and Rank, especially when compared to other players. Not to mention, thinking about it, she probably had wall hacks because she read me way too well. Like she knew where I was at all times.
Had a fellow survivor cheater a few days ago. He bullied a pig. I think I was the only one that noticed as the other two finished gens and left. I tried to get the pig to hook me but every time I was picked up the cheater made me auto wiggle out. I just stayed until I died in-game as the cheater escaped last second. I recorded it but on playstation you can only do the simple report with no additional information added. Cheaters are ruining this game.
I played a game as legion and couldn't catch the speed hackers. They looked so ridiculous permanently running faster than legion sprint. I reported for exploits and the next day bhvr gave me a thank you message and "appropriate action has been taken."
just last week I came across my first for sure cheater. Tier 3 Myers to take out the obsession, chased the other three out the door, then as I went to pick her up, she just zoomed along the ground straight to the hatch.
I've only ever had two blatent cheaters (Killer) while playing. Ive had a handful of subtle cheaters I've exposed while running Bond. I've had about 5 cheaters total since DBD's console launch, but it's really aggravating that DBD can't put obvious checks in-game to detect this kind of stuff.
It's still pretty wild to me that you can lose all your games if you get banned I don't know how people find it acceptable. I understand not getting to play online when you're banned but losing all your games is crossing a line.

What's particularly intriguing is that Microsoft might remain unaware, given that the entire process would be automated by bot. And then they can sell those accounts in a extremely high price as these are the only accounts that can gain access to XBOX games.
I played one of the best Billy games of my life against a blatant cheater playing as Steve Harrington. Felt like I got traumatized, like I was an Olympic athlete playing against a doper. I haven't picked the game back up in about a month because this cheating software is so infuriating and I've never legitimately encountered anything even similar in any other game.
To be honest, if you're gonna go up against a cheater, Billy is the killer to play. You're there to do some sick curves and maybe get some downs along the way. Cheaters making it impossible to win are only an annoyance.
in the last two weeks I think I met around 10 people that I am confident were cheating. Everything to directly teleport hacking, to locking people in animations, instant wiggle bar, to very "soft" cheaters that just have those 1-2% speed increase as killers.

Having a report system that doesn't investigate the issue either with a team of moderators, or a community investigation method (like overwatch from counter strike) is just pointless. Bet these companies manually check for review bombs though.
Got a speed/wallhacking Meg the other day as a scratch mirror myers, could see her zooming around and countering every movement even when i was in the middle of Midwich, and she was on the other side of the wall. She tries to say I'm cheating at end game chat. I still could kill her. Apparently she was new to these cheats lol.
I had this happen to me, I was playing billy for a challenge and had messaged a survivor in the lobby (we were both Xbox) for help, so loaded into a match and I heard the sound of pallets breaking. I get my challenge, down the survivor and hook them. They get unhooked and can’t move. Eventually I had to dc out so they wouldn’t lose pips. Load into another game and the exact same thing happened, again I had to dc out and got reported for hacking when it was the anonymous survivors. I then had a 5min penalty because I dc’d 2 games back to back.
Somethin in me tells me that if a hacker would find the IP of these cheaters and visit them in person, the cheaters would be found surrounded by greasy pizza boxes in a darkly lit room with at least 179 terabytes of CP on their computers
I genuinely dont understand why people cheat in this game in a way that could just end the game instantly or just make them escape the trial whenever they want, they LITERALLY get nothing from it, no blood points, hardly any XP, and certainly no skill.
was duo playing with a friend awhile back and at start of game i witnessed a survivor speed hack away from the killer but guess they didnt notice me who witnessed it. so i instantly told buddy that the other was a cheater (friend also said he got forced to do things that he didnt even input) we managed to point at the cheater and the killer figured out who the cheater was. i let end game collapse kill me. Friend escaped cause wanted to get a mission done...course it was still upsetting that it went that way. just want to enjoy playing the game for what it is. not have babies mess with it. got a notification a week later that the cheater was banned. felt great managing to let the Wesker know who was causing the "auto escape grasp" the cheater stopped trying to hide it because i noticed them so early.
What's wild is not just the fact that they're spending $28 a month to do this, but also the fact they need that attention. Here's what's hilarious though about the people who make these programs, because it's all digital they all fall under a "charge back" loophole. The reason they do things in that monthly cycle is because that's when the window for charging back ends, BUT when that charge back goes through it's whatever the money was spent + an additional 20% on top of it. Soooo it wouldn't take long to drain the resources.

I saw a video of a cheating dwight making it look like his teammate was cheating. The killer even thought she was cheating and everyone ganged up on her (including the cheating dwight). She tried to rat him out for cheating but she got targeted instead. Its insane how people can frame others and actually get away with it.

Ran into a blatant speed Hacker when I last played Oni. Saw them zooming on Lethal Pursuer and initially thought “Oh, they must be new because they’re using sprint burst too early” but then I caught up to them shortly after lethal went down to which they zoomed away 2x as fast as Sprint Burst allows and far too early for exhaustion to expire. I then quit on the spot, they then called me a “Baby Killer” while also smugly boasting that they were cheating.
The best was a wall hacking billy when i was running distortion, off the record and other aura perks. Knew exactly where everyone was at all times. I moonwalked and he knew where i was.... Then he came across the map when hes on the side. while i was working on a gen in the corner
I played against one the other week. They were literally faster than me. They kept trying to bait me into chasing them and then would go zooming off around a corner. It was so obvious and they seemed to get really annoyed when I ignored them.

Every cheater I ever versed was a survivor. Never seen a killer cheat or use hacks in game. It's ALWAYS speed hacking survivors. Wall hacks and TP hacks. Also, there is a hack making killers perks not proc. I didn't kno who the cheater was. So I reported all of them for using 3rd party software. Also, one survivor was suffering from the "sliding locker" movement glitch. That glitch was fixed around 2 years ago. That should have never been possible. Somebody in that trial was messing with game files and tried to subtle hack againts an aura reading build. Seen everyone with Lethal and other aura reading perks. When 2 gens was left. My aura reading MAGICALLY stopped working :D NoWhere to Hide wouldn't show me survivors behind a wall even tho I knew they was there. I'm all ears didn't proc after a survivor quick vaulted in chase. DCed and reported all of them. Glad I get punished and have to wait bc I don't feel like being cheated any further. Thanks Behavior🤦

i do not trust any company dealing with cheaters properly , every game has at least 30% of it's playerbase constantly cheating or subtle cheating and they do not deal with it THERE IS A SOLUTION but not even 1 company has taken it so it's clearly they endorse hacking , a few companies even said that hackers and their customers as well since they bought the game so yeah...they care about money not about players!
There are 'whales' in gaming who would spend thousands of dollars every month, you can consider the cheating as a pay-to-win subscription.
tbf, most cheat engines/scripts will eventually become detectable or patched my behaviour so they dont work. Even if you paid once eventually that version of the cheats would get you banned/ stop working.

Giving the game away for free on Epic caused most of this. The bad actors made a massive number of free accounts.
Choy had a newer video about cheaters where he was told, that yes, epic accounts still used a bit, but there is new king of cheap accounts- xbox gamepass for pc

it’s so bad that nothing will overturn the sheer number of reports the bot looks at. i was mass reported by a bunch of people in a blizzard game who were openly admitting to doing it because they were mad i was outplaying them. despite it being right there in the logs that they were planning on mass reporting me and falsely reporting me i still got banned and they got no repercussions. it's rough.

Comment above me is correct, I’m on ps5 and use to argue with ppl, even something as dumb as “you suck ass” will get your account suspended. They will come back with “this is why you’re suspended”.

I have never witnessed these kind of cheaters before. As if ruining the game was not enough, the cheaters are throwing another player's dedication and time out of the water for their own amusement and attention.
When your SBMM reaches a certain level you will see it all the time. Generally around the same time you will play against mostly TTV players. I mean pretty much every game. It will be subtle speed hacks at first. You will have players zooming after turning a corner. Fast heals. Small stuff. Then you will see blatant hacks. Flying, instant unhooks. At the worst end they can actually turn your internet off which in my opinion should lead to much more severe punishments than banning accounts. Personally I’ll be switching to something else. Game is very unbalanced at high SBMM as it is never mind getting into all the cheating nonsense. There are tons of alternative

Ran into a 4-stack all running speed and wall cheats the other day as Pyramid Head. I kept managing to hit them with my power to the point where they ran away everytime my terror radius was visible. Gotta love torment.

It happened to me once when I was Singularity, I had a Meg with the name "F*ck you killer". She had infinite Head On's, infinite crawling speed, I think she was going at 4.8 m/s at normal speed, because I couldn't catch up with her. She could even blind me by even looking at a wall, half of the game was me staying still because I just saw the screen constantly with the blinding animation. I sent an extensive report and I still haven't received any notice about what happened, and it was months ago, I think it was even last year.
Had a cheater while playing xenomorph who just blatently sped around the map, but they were so bad they ran around w a turret and stopped to set them up ended up bleeding them out my report came back today and they got banned, theyre definitely on the rise again and are after us normal casual players

You can't be social on modern platforms anymore. Even simple curse words (same as the words found in-game) being used in messages will get you banned. Microsoft and Sony went so far into fighting toxicity that they over-corrected and completely sterilized their environments.

All I can say is FINALLY someone is talking about something I've been experiencing since i started this game. I've been playing the game for almost 2 years now and I'm not a streamer, but there are times when I've been playing against loads of cheaters. First time was like one of my first matches playing killer, and in general the game itself, so I didn't understand how the game worked, so I ignored a lot fo the odd stuff, but I had been getting bullied with flashlights, flashbangs, etc - and so i went to farm Billy's bloodweb for lightborn (i thought i could learn the game if i could avoid being blinded to no end). When I finally got it and equipped it, i went into this match against this swf and they took me to the Deathslinger's map, where they proceeded to stun me left and right at main (one player proceeded to deadhard to avoid going down at a locker, then hop in it and immediately hopped into it ans headon stunned me a second later). At the time, i thought that was just how those perks worked until i read the description (red flags everywhere). Whatever - I finally caught two people and felt so good, and i went for the pick up - only for the other downed person to get up (no big deal except they didn't have unbreakable) and flashlight save. I was like i have light born im fine and then got blinded for like 10 whole seconds, the last gen popped and the gates immediately opened. They proceeded to stand in the exit gates teabagging and clicking flashlights at me and blinding me until the timer was almost empty and then they ran out. I went swiftly to read up on perks and learn the game through watching others play, and learned I'd been playing with big-time cheaters from day one. 😂😂😂

Mass reports don’t do anything, and you can’t even mass report a random account unless you played a game with them, your bf probably got into a heated argument with the cheater and said something against terms, that’s why his Xbox account was suspended.

About 5 years ago I watched one video about bans in Overwatch. Some players were good at not popular characters. And their teammates reported them even though those players were good. And ofc they were banned.

Mass reporting is one of the worst problems in gaming right now. Most report systems are automated and don't look into mass-reports, instead just assuming they're true.
This person isn’t telling the full story. They didn’t get their account suspended because the cheater used their cheats to frame them, they broke an Xbox account violation.
They def got into messaging back and forth after the game, they’re only showing parts of the cheater’s message but none of theirs.

I honestly don't know why BHVR doesn't add in in-game checks to see if players are doing things that are literally impossible. If a player randomly teleports to an exit, it should automatically be able to tell they're cheating. Even if they don't get straight up banned when it detects it (since their system might falsely ban people for BHVR's notoriously buggy trash), it should be worked in to some degree. Also, the game server should be able to tell the person "no, you can't do that" when they try something like that in-game. People using perks they don't have should be a prime example.
That would use resources. Maybe not mutch but it sums when counting in every match played in a day. They could but they don't want to because it costs the money
Exactly, yeah. It seems like it would be really simple to code something to at least keep track of impossible position changes and simply disconnect those players from the match. It probably wouldn't be able to catch super subtle cheaters, but it would be ***SOMETHING*** at the very least.

That was common in my experiences. One survivor had the "sliding" glitch that was fixed 2 years ago. That glitch should no longer exist. Another player might have wanted that person to look like the cheater. Also my perks stopped procing midway through the trial. Somebody was 100% hacking that game and no idea who. Told them at end game chat, no idea who it is. But, im reporting all of you.

This happened to me, you get 4 bans events, 1 day, multi days, then 22 days, finally a year suspension. You cannot appeal the 1 day suspension, but you must file an appeal for everyone after that.
I've dealt with a few hackers but thank god I never ran into someone like this. Closest I got was having my entire kit disabled (only could walk and break pallets, nothing else) and having survivors teleport away from me or just teleporting me to one spot over and over again.
I feel bad for these people who got banned for just wanting to play the game. Screw people like this honestly

I was watching Selena stream and the Dwight kept wiggling off and the streamer told his 200 ish viewers to go mass report the Dwight. End game chat he swore on his life he wasn’t cheating. Streamer said he clipped it and will be sending it in 💀
Voidtodos (cheating TH-camr) has even showcased it’s possible to wiggle / teleport other ppl. He has a whole video of him going in and framing other ppl.
On the days of March 2 and 3 of 2024 this past weekend, I saw more cheaters going after flash light saves than I'd care to say. Saw someone across the map speed hack in about 2 seconds, get the flashlight save, nod their head, and still actually die in the game. Then saw someone do the same thing against a plague, then forced all the pools to be cleansed so the plague gets their power without infecting anyone. I purposely died for the plague because I was done with the cheaters. These are just two examples, but I had minimum 7 games where someone was moving too fast. It's a weird time to play dbd. I haven't seen any killers cheat yet. Just survivors going after flashlights really. I don't know how it helps, or makes them happy. I just know that I am a little sick of it.
Edit: I saw three twins this weekend, which is more than I saw in the last two years combined. I saw around 7 cheaters (or people who looked a bit too fast an a convenient time w/o SB or another exhaustion perk) this weekend, which is more cheaters I've seen in the four or so years I've been on DBD.
Edit again: I forgot there was one weird Huntress, but that could have been lag. Another player also said it looked weird, but we don't know.

I knew I wasn't crazy when I ran into two speedhacking killers and one hacking survivor back to back within three games! I thought I was just being overly paranoid until I saw this.
A few days ago i was playing with a friend, there was a Claudette that somehow was making me wiggle off of the killer to force a survivor win (almost certain it was this player anyway). I asked my friend if it would be possible that id get banned because of this and we both reported and left it at that.... i really hope it wouldnt be possible to get banned this way.
UPDATE: this was clearly malicious and it just made me ponder, because if other players where reporting me like i was the cheater, would this auto system ban me? hm.

Yes you can get ban for playing with hackers. Someone was ban for streaming his experiences playing with hackers. Spooknjooks made a video about a certain manchild playing with hackers. Dude obviously knew the hacker was cheating. He was teaming up with him but always acted like he never knew him. Even tho he ONLY played when the hacker was around. Some psychotic cringey @ss man child who acts surprised on stream everytime his cheater buddy made it obvious. Lastly, Dude always ended stream when the "suspicious" guy he played EVERY TRIAL with decided to quit for the day. Go watch it, it's the most cringey @ss streamer I ever witnessed. Bet Dude wears a diaper to bed.

7:15 just a note cheater doesn't necessarily has to be mikaela. They could be the other 3. There is a cheat that allows automatic wiggle off or full blind while you picking someone
About that Mikaela clip. That has been happening to me recently where killer picks me up and I instantly wiggle off without DS. Maybe there were cheaters in my game who did that but it could also be a bug. It happened to me twice so far.

I blame gaming companies. Most of them are lazy when come to "game content(s)". What is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to crank out content(s)? Most will games dev will create some sort of "competition multi player exp reward farming system" or whatever. What does "competition" leads too? -->MORE Hackers and cheaters.
I had a cheater in my game gaslight the killer into believing I was cheating and sandbagging. The killer (a streamer) took the bait and proceeded to say terrible things about me to their chat and everything. It was awful. The cheater then DM’d me “lol” with some slurs for extra hurt after I stopped trying to defend myself. This is soo funny that this happened to me and I’m seeing this video. I thought I was losing it. I didn’t get banned. I did message BHVR with the VOD (no response). It’s private video and has like 100 views so they’ve seen it.
I honestly haven’t played DBD in like over a year because of this. I login to buy skins and log off.

Haven't had a cheater in years, played against one the other day as Trapper. It was so funny, I'd see them on a gen with Gearhead, head over, they'd be gone. I'd see them on a gen on the other side of the map and just went "Huh, that's nice." I will never understand cheaters.

This is saddly becoming a new thing where cheaters will now target the general masses to get them banned. I wish this was the first time this week i've seen this kind of behaivor but this is a daily occurance.
Cheaters also seem to be able to lower their MMR and see the killer in the lobby. I run into them more often on my least played killers (freddy, trapper, etc) that I don't 4k with and just do dailies. It's really obvious too. However when I play Nurse or Hillbilly that I 4k with often, I rarely see them and often have players or groups leaving the lobby shortly after I join. Pretty suspicious.
I had the same issue last month. A swf of Kate Densons, all hacking, tried to bully squad me on a swamp map. Funnily enough one of them was even a YT who advertised themselves as a P100 nurse main.
At least the YT and the most blatant hacker got banned (always keep your clipping software open)
I’ve experienced a lot of hackers lately. I’ve gone against a Billy twice that downed all of us immediately at the start of the match and then left us slugged. Both times I reported him, and the second time i noticed he had a new account bc he was a lower prestige than before. so sad that people feel the need to cheat.

It's odd, something about anti-cheat companies not putting in the same amount of work load compared to the massive underground cheating effort.
I have encountered several cheaters in Friday the 13th. I'm not being a salty Jason either. Literally one day they started showing up and the tell was that they were all level 150. They would have infinite health sprays, infinite stamina, increased speed (not the perk that does that. This increases it even more than the perk does), and infinite pocket knives. I encountered one hacked Jason and I know it was because the textures were changed and that Jason far faster than normal and had extended grab reach. As far as DbD goes perhaps a killer or two ran faster than possible and maybe somehow always knew where the survivors were. Also once found a killer and survivor working in tandem but never anything that bad. I remember one day playing MW2 all the hackers and modders just randomly showed up one weekend. It was strange.
This is honestly just something that's a part of live service games now. You don't own anything, and you will be happy. I moved away from live service games and PlayStation entirely for similar reasons, despite having my account since Feb '08 and having every PS console since PS1.
I quit the game few days ago after I ran AGAIN into speed and wallhacker. Playing the game doesn't give me joy anymore.

I've gotten some over here on the Asia servers in Japan. I've had a match as Sadako with her iri add-on to see auras around TVs and caught her zooming while crouched. I stood on Hatch thinking I could maybe prevent her from escaping and she DCd. Like, the game ended and her icon said she DCd, no bot replaced her, no escape, no death. Just DC like the way the old DC used to work. Crazy stuff. None of em got banned tho and all were anonymous ofc.
what if bhvr ordered the in-game reports by playtime? reports from accounts with the highest playtime would be sorted to the top and be read by a human, while low-hour accounts (

The fact that the hackers claim that it's on the company when it comes to the bans and that it should rarely happen otherwise is still so scummy to me. Especially given this trend. They can literally make it look to the company like you are the problem and get you banned yet will point at company as if they are the issue in that equation rather than hackers maliciously going after people like that.
One of my happier memories from dbd is when I logged in one day and actually got a notification that someone I reported had been banned.
I've noticed several times in the past month or two that there's also some kind of bug? Causing random situations of people instantly dying from a hit, people dying with half their bleed timer still to go, people getting knocked off the killer with only half progress (people in my swf who were confused af what happened for each of these). Something's a lil wonky with the game overall
A few months back i was playing doctor against a guy who could phase through the floor, blind me through the back of my own head etc
His teammate tried to take advantage of it but I secured that kill by putting Mr cheater into tier 3 so he couldn't save
You should be able to sue cheaters for the full value of Xbox subscription (or whatever they have) period you were denied because of them + legal fees. Who knows, perhaps the threat of spending a few days in arrest and having your private info exposed would make them rethink things.
This reminds me of a match I played of Lights Out against a cheater. I was playing Wesker against 4 Kates on the Knight's map.
It started out like a normal match. I got 1 hook, then downed another survivor inside main building. I picked them up and carried them towards the hook that is spawns right outside main building, but they wiggled off right before I got there. This felt really weird because I knew the hook wasn't far enough for them to get off. I downed them again, then carried them to another hook but they wiggled off again, thus time much faster than before. Once I downed them again and picked them up, they wiggled off instantly as if they hit me with a DS. I knew immediately that I was dealing with a cheater at that point, so I downed them again and left them slugged. After that, I chased someone else and downed them, but when I picked them up, they got off instantly like the other person. This happened every time I tried picking someone up after this point, so I decided to slug. Then, I noticed someone healing the slugged people so I went to hit them but they instantly telleported away. After a few seconds, the slugged person got up from the ground without anyone on top of them healing them. I responded by just hitting them again to redown them. Eventually, I went to hit someone who was working on a gen but they were invincible. My attacks didn't even hit them despite being right next to them, and I couldn't grab them off the gen either. Also, at one point, the cheater teleported into the sky while I was charging my power.
2 players DCed, 1 decided to bleed out, and once the last normal player left bled out, the cheater completed the last gen and left, which allowed me to hook both bots that were left bleeding out on the ground.
I'm just a normal player. I don't stream or make content on TH-cam or Tiktok, so I was genuinely surprised that I was experiencing blatant cheating on a level that you normally see streamers dealing with from stream snipers.
Edit: I did report the cheater and got a response from BHVR saying they took action against the person I reported, so I'm glad that bozo had to buy a new account because of me.
I don't think it's likely this person aggravated the cheater first. Cheaters are already aggravated, THAT IS WHY THEY CHEAT. A cheater could see a player simply playing the same character as someone that pissed them off once, and make that player their new target of misery. Once a cheater has crossed the line of toxic cheating, they will nearly always become drunk on power. At that point their decisions have nothing to do with their targets anymore.

From my experience and my permanently banned DbD account (after I bothere BHVR on the forums and asking them to adress the rampant cheaters problem, what a coincidence), I wouldn't trust BHVR more than Microsoft tbh xD
I feel like BHVR should invest time in a sort of detection system like this:
"If player uses a perk's effects but the game does not detect the player having the perk in loadout, player gets flagged for possible cheats."
"If player goes a certain distance within a certain time frame, player gets flagged for possible cheats."
"If player is in hook state for 30 seconds after the endgame collapse ends, player is automatically banned."
"If player is using Killer power of another Killer, player is automatically banned."
Things with a lot of nuance and would require a ton of effort and knowledge as to what should be flagged or what is a bannable behavior.
As for Microsoft, those guys need to hire a hundred people to start reading reports, because what the hell, that's a stupid automated system.
the problem with CoconutRTS' video is, that his example of a cheater in his game can very likely be a false positive also. Had it happen that the cheater triggered fast wiggles and fast heals for the rest of the survivors.

Points light into the downsides of using automation (AI) extensivly without checks and balances.
Note: Valve used their (weak) AI-AntiCheat in CS:GO only in conjunction with manual reviews (aka Overwatch). Positives from the AI-System got queued up for Overwatch reports. But tbh, idk what is going on with their AC, considering the state of CS2. -.-
The good thing is you can send a support ticket to behavior and they can fix your account especially if you video proof of your old stats

3:45 - 4:00 to answer your question: I remember getting banned on Xbox for sending an angry message to a literal hacker (he was using aimbot in Call of Duty). Then I got banned for the inappropriate message I sent them, and they did NOT get banned for literally hacking. That was the moment I decided to never become an Xbox Ambassador, eventhough they offered me that.
I have fallen victim to this exact thing this week and got a 48hr ban on xbox. I don't understand how or why but my ban report was for griefing when I played normal. I wish behaviour can just rework the report system and appeals are given to human beings and not Ai that says the most generic scripted message along the lines of "sorry we can do anything for your ban but well keep this on your record" :/ like fix your spaghetti code behaviour

People in some comments saying that it's impossible to be suspended/banned for false reports, there is literally a video of a guy being banned during live because a girl, who was also live, with the help of her two teammates kept reporting his account over and over
Had a cheater decisive strike me 18 times over and over. Didn't report him because Behavior or Microsoft won't do anything.
I did some reports, ingame reports, and got an ingame notification one week after saying they took care of it
They literally will if you report properly (through BHVR website), each and every single cheater I reported got banned in one-two weeks.
There's also 0 way on console to properly report. We can't write anything in for reasons, we are not even allowed end game chat to possibly get proof or screenshots of admitting.
BHVR is typically quite good when it comes to responding to reports. It's a shame you didn't report them.
Behavior actually does something against cheaters! They take quite a bit of time (probably because the amount of reports is huge) and they suck at preventing cheaters to begin with, but once in a while I get messages from Behavior telling me they acted on a report I've made. They actually do something; they just take some time to do it.
The Xbox report system is a joke. Someone messaged me saying they hope I get r*ped bc I won the game, I reported it and they didn’t get banned. But I sent them a message back saying “gg ez, try better next time” and I got a 48hr communication suspension 😭 so they allow players to wish r*pe on others but when I say ez it’s suddenly not allowed

Between the toxicity of the game and the unsolved cheating in it, I'm honestly surprised that people are still willing to waste time, and especially money, on it.
I once had survivor hacker in my game, that was doing gens extremely fast. I could tell, cuz I had tinkerer, and that was the only way I could tell. Tinkerer popped, and not even 1 second later, the gen was done. But this was long ago, before "console" players existed in DBD (the world icon players). Brand new part was already reworked there. In the end game screen, I went onto his steam profile, and reported him there. All other players did too. Some minutes later that guy wrote on my profile comment section, asked what he did wrong and why people report him and write -reps onto his profile. Turns out, that hacker somehow was able to link that guy's profile into his ingame DBD screen, so no one could find the hackers Steam account and SteamID and everyone would report the wrong guy and get that guy banned instead. The hacker just used the name of that guy. I still dont know to this day, how he was able to do that, linking another's stream profile ingame.

Faced a player who was far too fast a few days ago. They had hope but I could barely catch up to them even before exit gates were powered and that speed didn't change even after they were powered, eventually they turned a corner around shack and flat out vanished. Never hooked her once the entire match. I reported because chasing for almost 5 minutes and still not catching her even with blood lust 1 or 2, doesn't make sense. Not to mention that I was never able to gain blood lust 3 as she'd either loop me too well to the point were it was useless even with it forcing me to break a pallet. Or the bloodlust would just randomly end. She was way too good for my level and Rank, especially when compared to other players. Not to mention, thinking about it, she probably had wall hacks because she read me way too well. Like she knew where I was at all times.
Had a fellow survivor cheater a few days ago. He bullied a pig. I think I was the only one that noticed as the other two finished gens and left. I tried to get the pig to hook me but every time I was picked up the cheater made me auto wiggle out. I just stayed until I died in-game as the cheater escaped last second. I recorded it but on playstation you can only do the simple report with no additional information added. Cheaters are ruining this game.
I played a game as legion and couldn't catch the speed hackers. They looked so ridiculous permanently running faster than legion sprint. I reported for exploits and the next day bhvr gave me a thank you message and "appropriate action has been taken."
just last week I came across my first for sure cheater. Tier 3 Myers to take out the obsession, chased the other three out the door, then as I went to pick her up, she just zoomed along the ground straight to the hatch.
I've only ever had two blatent cheaters (Killer) while playing. Ive had a handful of subtle cheaters I've exposed while running Bond. I've had about 5 cheaters total since DBD's console launch, but it's really aggravating that DBD can't put obvious checks in-game to detect this kind of stuff.
It's still pretty wild to me that you can lose all your games if you get banned I don't know how people find it acceptable. I understand not getting to play online when you're banned but losing all your games is crossing a line.
really makes me think they need a start asking for id's or to have a universal gameing id system setup so if a cheater gets banned it will effect all there games.
Some cheaters can teleport you to them.
It once happened to me and I left the game on the spot, as I'm not going to risk the possibility to get banned
In theory, with a sufficient number of bots, it could be possible to orchestrate mass bans for users on Xbox Live. What's particularly intriguing is that Microsoft might remain unaware, given that the entire process would be automated by bot. And then they can sell those accounts in a extremely high price as these are the only accounts that can gain access to XBOX games.
I played one of the best Billy games of my life against a blatant cheater playing as Steve Harrington. Felt like I got traumatized, like I was an Olympic athlete playing against a doper. I haven't picked the game back up in about a month because this cheating software is so infuriating and I've never legitimately encountered anything even similar in any other game.
To be honest, if you're gonna go up against a cheater, Billy is the killer to play. You're there to do some sick curves and maybe get some downs along the way. Cheaters making it impossible to win are only an annoyance.
in the last two weeks I think I met around 10 people that I am confident were cheating. Everything to directly teleport hacking, to locking people in animations, instant wiggle bar, to very "soft" cheaters that just have those 1-2% speed increase as killers.
there was a cheater who could get me off the killer's shoulder. idk how but it was a problem for me for a few games. this was 2 years ago now
Ive reported and blocked the dude at 1:47. Everyone on Xbox should do the same so we wont have to run into this cheater while playing the game.
I had multiple com bans the most recent was a 17 day com ban but every time I managed to get out of it, now what’s the most vile most disgusting message I sent after playing a game of Mortal Kombat, Gears of War and Dead by Daylight (just naming a few games I play where I got com banned)well be prepared it’s kind of graphic

Having a report system that doesn't investigate the issue either with a team of moderators, or a community investigation method (like overwatch from counter strike) is just pointless. Bet these companies manually check for review bombs though.
Got a speed/wallhacking Meg the other day as a scratch mirror myers, could see her zooming around and countering every movement even when i was in the middle of Midwich, and she was on the other side of the wall. She tries to say I'm cheating at end game chat. I still could kill her. Apparently she was new to these cheats lol.
I had this happen to me, I was playing billy for a challenge and had messaged a survivor in the lobby (we were both Xbox) for help, so loaded into a match and I heard the sound of pallets breaking. I get my challenge, down the survivor and hook them. They get unhooked and can’t move. Eventually I had to dc out so they wouldn’t lose pips.
Load into another game and the exact same thing happened, again I had to dc out and got reported for hacking when it was the anonymous survivors. I then had a 5min penalty because I dc’d 2 games back to back.
Somethin in me tells me that if a hacker would find the IP of these cheaters and visit them in person, the cheaters would be found surrounded by greasy pizza boxes in a darkly lit room with at least 179 terabytes of CP on their computers
I genuinely dont understand why people cheat in this game in a way that could just end the game instantly or just make them escape the trial whenever they want, they LITERALLY get nothing from it, no blood points, hardly any XP, and certainly no skill.
was duo playing with a friend awhile back and at start of game i witnessed a survivor speed hack away from the killer but guess they didnt notice me who witnessed it.
so i instantly told buddy that the other was a cheater (friend also said he got forced to do things that he didnt even input) we managed to point at the cheater and the killer figured out who the cheater was.
i let end game collapse kill me. Friend escaped cause wanted to get a mission done...course it was still upsetting that it went that way.
just want to enjoy playing the game for what it is. not have babies mess with it.
got a notification a week later that the cheater was banned.
felt great managing to let the Wesker know who was causing the "auto escape grasp"
the cheater stopped trying to hide it because i noticed them so early.
What's wild is not just the fact that they're spending $28 a month to do this, but also the fact they need that attention. Here's what's hilarious though about the people who make these programs, because it's all digital they all fall under a "charge back" loophole. The reason they do things in that monthly cycle is because that's when the window for charging back ends, BUT when that charge back goes through it's whatever the money was spent + an additional 20% on top of it. Soooo it wouldn't take long to drain the resources.
I know people that would hop on friends accounts because they had their game share info and would sometimes get them banned by sending slurs to their account and reporting it
I saw a video of a cheating dwight making it look like his teammate was cheating. The killer even thought she was cheating and everyone ganged up on her (including the cheating dwight). She tried to rat him out for cheating but she got targeted instead. Its insane how people can frame others and actually get away with it.
