I mean, Killers can DC and more often than not all items/add-ons the Survivor brought will be lost no matter what. All it would have done was make the game a little bit longer since they would've just hid until the barrier left, yeah the wallhacks are nice but SWF don't need it to know the Killer's location, the dead one could simply go to his stream since he can see the player name after dying and then relay the Killer's location through Discord. Suffice to say, I got one kill out of that game The other was fairly recently after a long break from the game and I was practicing Huntress. These two guys brought toolkits and offerings to make the hooks further apart. Whenever I downed and tried to hook someone, they’d sabotage it. One of (sad I have so many with only 100 hours) my worst was coming back to the game after a 6 month break and since MMR doesn't decay (or didn't) I went up against a super sweaty swf game one who took every chance to teabag and click while running perks to make it impossible for me to get a single hook. I just DCd after 20 mins because I'm not good enough to deal with that and after 6 months, it was a reminder why I left in the first place.
When i used to play i would rarely kill, maybe sometime mori and the survivors would get so offended and tell me i suck...for simply not hooking them for the last time by choice. But then i play properly and kill everyone fast, i still suck! Very awful playerbase.

I’ve noticed that it is a common occurrence for both survivors and killers who are bad sports to use really strong strats, perks, items, and add-ons in this game and then be toxic when they win. Then when they receive the exact same treatment in return, they act like the victim. As if they didn’t bring it upon themselves.

Seeing as how a disconnect adds that player's remaining hook states to your hook counter, a fix for the disconnecting could be that DC'ing counts as the killer getting a hook, therefore proccing any perk where hooking a survivor activates its effect. I deeply believe that both kindness and toxicity must be repay in full. When I see someone act toxic/rude, after eliminating the possibility that I might misunderstood, I will try my best to repay the toxicity back to that person. Don't tell me about let go and breaking the cycle, because beside that person is not going to be better if I forgive him, that person is not receiving consequences for his negative behaviour, and might increase his toxicity towards next victim. It's not just a game, its interaction between 2 human beings. If you act toxic, the basic thing you can do is to take it when it happens to you
thats true, toxic killers are worse. you need 4 survivors in sync to even win, and then u got killers than can just camp or tunnel. this game cringe overall. Just a bunch of man children
What they should really do is keep track of a player's tendency to DC. As either role. Then when/if they ever iron out the matchmaking- it should become a factor. If you DC some % of time, then you get matched to others who *also* DC that % of time, and the only way to rectify it is to suffer the same DCs that you force on others. Karma.
In the early days I was a normal player. When the toxicity grew with the games popularity, I went from being a just having fun as a Survivor main to an absolutely merciless Nurse main that never lost a single match (0 gate escapes and only a few dozen 1-2man keys) in over 5000 Nurse games played. I went from match to match, 3-5mins in and out and never have I ever recieved so many death threats in my life (this was all before SBMM). I didn't have fun playing Nurse or Killer for the most part, I just had fun watching people complain match after match on how I was abusing the most broken Killer at the time with her best addons (my steam profile was over a hundred pages of -reps and about what type of pdf file I have to be irl). It got so bad that some players that recognized me because I played vs them a dozen times a day would just quit the match as soon as they saw a basic nurse in their game. Suprisingly so, most of my SwF groups I met while playing Nurse against them just to later actually enjoy the game when I was bored of stomping toxic shits. In early 2021 I had a recorded 7.8k hours played and stopped playing entirely. I still love to watch back at the game's history and videos such as this (while also keeping up with the game current) but the one thing that never changes has been the incredible amount of toxicity the players bring to their matches and endgame chats and the dissapointing reality is, most of the toxic players are middle of the pack/slighty above average players and not actually good. Sadly, this behaviour is not exclusive to DBD and is by far not the highest toxicity game out there and neither wont make a top10 spot on a list for the most toxic games but it truely amazed me on how deploreable so many DBD players really were back then, and probably still are. Also DBD must be one of the few games that really has the biggest amount of toxic streamers out there.
You know what sucks the most, is that I know who that guy is and he’s really good at survivor. But like every dbd player, his ego gets the better of him. Dbd is a weird world bro
Yeah, I'll play with worse players who are more chill over almost any twitch dbd survivor. Even if they are skilled, their attitude is insufferable and they are really quick to give blame while having endless excuses.
As much as I like not losing. Always winning is just boring 😅 It always boggles the mind how some people can’t handle not losing that they’d literally bend the rules and abuse the hell out of a perk for it
I really enjoyed the storytelling of this video and the editing! Also, I miss the old dead hard animations and maps. Sometimes, I wish we had a game mode where we can go back to them for a bit to get memories again
Another great video Coco! I’m realizing how much amazing content for dbd I could’ve had if I recorded, just with all the salt I’ve gotten over the years… welp you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.
I know Red forest is a bad map for killer, but there HAD to be some sort of Huntress Homefield advantage, maybe not an actual buff, but a buff to the Spirit.
Bro you should've added that clip from the movie Scarface where it goes "You wanna fuck with me?" , just before the third time you faced him. That would've been hilarious
The second you let your ego convince you that you're better than someone else is the very moment you set yourself up for a huge meltdown when someone comes along that's even better than you. Humility is very important.
I went against a premade that took me to RPD yesterday... I landed two good hole shots and for the rest of the game they played in stealth, running away from generators the moment they heard my humming get louder. I still landed some pretty good hatchets but only managed one hook as they were constantly moving two boons around and had lucky break so chasing was a waste of time. After the game they t-bagged at exit till I hit them all out of the match. I played them again today on autohaven wreckers and annihilated them, allowing them to complete only two gens.
I recognized the voice from some other videos of the toxic streamer, and he's understating on how awful a person the streamer is if it's indeed shortbread.
NGL, I remember before the recent changes people were really angry about the balance of the game, saying that with boons and shit it had "never been worse" and I could tell those people never experienced this kind of shit lmao. I didn't either, but when I started getting into DBD I got interested in the history of changes to the game and I'm not gonna lie, 3-4 years ago this game seemed like it wasn't half as fun as it is today. I could not see myself sticking to playing killer in this environment.
back then there was a lot of awful things both sides have to deal with - as you can see here, not only was haddonfield and ormund even more survivor sided before, along with much stronger versions of perks on both sides, coconut was able to bring 3 hatchets with iri head
its always been a back and forth. Mostly always swf being the #1 culprit. Most the perks and other issues were only really bad with swf. That and infinites, lol, oh and balanced landing b4 rework : )
This is BRUTAL. My boy, Coconut, pulled out the patch notes and developer notes to dog on this dude, as he should. Glad Object of Obsession got changed.
9:23 I mean, what was the google gonna fill the rest with? Why are dbd players so good? Why are dbd players so bad? Durrr it’s almost like toxic is the number 1 result for every game
I know what I say may be extreme as this is just a game, but one of the, if not most, fears ever to any living human being, is being forgotten and/or ignored. Being alone leads you down a lone path and later to self-injury/suicide, feeling alone and unheard. The slightest bit of attention you give to any of these sad bugs, you inflate the ego of a self centered-puke of a worm and they get off on it like a kid on Christmas, but actually looking like rats finding good trash to feed on. Don't pay any mind and move along, if you get baited by their mindless actions, make them go off in their own delusions, as this is just a game. Although this revenge is satisfying, I hope you Coco have not held any ill-feelings, because true pieces of trash shouldn't be worth any bit of a second to waste on. Nonetheless, I applaud you on your vengeance and efforts to bring us this video of beautiful revenge to sad kids like them. Thank you Coco!
The fact that Coconut still said that the streamer was skilled even after all that happened is kinda chad like, proves that he s the most intelligent of the two. Not that anyone had a doubt to begin with.
Watching these videos of destroying toxic players always gets me back into dbd but im always dissapointed since im on console and I suck. I always try to have fun and not to be toxic I never tunnel slug or camp unless I need to. But I end up losing and doing any one of those things because I never did it during the match. Which just proves that even nice killers who dont do any of those things end up losing. EDIT: Literally just now I decided to play some stealth albert wesker but I got no value because it was a 3 man swf who never left the same hook at the corner of the map. I did destroy them and let the last survivor go beause it seemed like they weren't part of the swf but it was another case of I had to tunnel because there were survivors literally everywhere.
What is with this myth of console players being bad? We're not, most of the time. (Well, trickster, nurse, and slinger are difficult to operate on a joystick won't lie there, but not impossible) Even at 1/2 the frame rate many console killers slay reliably, some are even content creators. And I know quite a few Xbox swfs who will make you turn your game off and cry yourself to sleep. I just don't get this meme anymore- there's way too much data to disprove it by now.
@@youtubeuser84848 I'm not saying all console players are bad + it depends on what dbd queues you up with i'm just saying most console players suck including me. You probably just queued up with new console players.
You can be a "nice" killer and still win with 3-4 kills easily, as long as survivors *don't* genrush, you have good game sense and know how to apply pressure Problem is, survivors are starting to genrush again after basic healing got nerfed in the latest patch, so unfortunately you can't be too nice nowadays if you want to get those kills
Best way i found to explain why (imo) it's frowned upon to play sweaty (using strats that are detrimental to the game experience for others in the lobby) all the time is by comparing it to card counting at a friend's game night. Yeah you're going to win much more but it sucks for the rest at the table who just want to have fun playing a game.
Yeah I’ve had my fair share of toxic players on this game, got so bad to the point that I deleted it for awhile, then once I decided to redownload and play a match as the killer I immediately get hit with flashlights and pallets.
i loved this video, but tbh the ending was so anticlimactic. i know you demonstrated it was almost virtually impossible to win a game against these guys, but resorting to facecamping the last dude didn’t seem like a very good resolution or “revenge”. not that they didn’t deserve it, i’m just saying it would have been so much cooler to have done it in a way that didn’t seem spiteful since you kept your cool throughout the video. bc facecamping is toxic and doesn’t really prove anything other than you resorting to toxic gameplay bc your ego is hurt. with that being said i still enjoyed the video and i know ur a good player. i’m glad you kept your attitude so positive despite the bitter ending they had coming to them(:

Like a wise narrator once said, "Remind yourself that overconfidence Is a slow and Insidious killer"
CoconutRTS had the object of obsession perk with that toxic streamer
The add-on of choice is Vigo's Jar Of Salty Lips.
If you act toxic, the basic thing you can do is to take it when it happens to you
Damn, well said.
based. if a surv tbags I make sure to nod at them on hook. people get so mad and call me toxic when they started it in the first place lmao.
thats true, toxic killers are worse. you need 4 survivors in sync to even win, and then u got killers than can just camp or tunnel. this game cringe overall. Just a bunch of man children
@@_cats you do realize camping and tunneling are valid strategies to win? Nothing toxic about it.
@@NovaNova11. Def not valid, how boring is your life if u enjoy standing on hook getting one kill per match (losing)

Karma.
thanks Coco ... you did a great service to our community
Incredible mentality on your part - and really good sportsmanship too !
Nicely done mate
Should've messaged Yerv and told him you were going with Iri heads
"Im good, except when im not able to exploit the game, play SWF, use discord, and go up against bad players"
You know what sucks the most, is that I know who that guy is and he’s really good at survivor. But like every dbd player, his ego gets the better of him. Dbd is a weird world bro
Who is it?
Yeah, I'll play with worse players who are more chill over almost any twitch dbd survivor. Even if they are skilled, their attitude is insufferable and they are really quick to give blame while having endless excuses.
So who is it?
Noticed he blurred the names out. 100% respect even to guy that disrespected him.
He didn't

That man had all the crouches of that time of DBD including old dead hard . Coconut served some justice ,phoenix wright style .
Folded like a fcking origami. And that dc reeks of so much salt, it puts the Dead Sea in shame.
Little did I know, a thing the developers intentionally put in the game was in fact an exploit 😮😮
As much as I like not losing. Always winning is just boring 😅 It always boggles the mind how some people can’t handle not losing that they’d literally bend the rules and abuse the hell out of a perk for it
The good ol' days, when Coconut had that facecam angle that made it look like you were hiding under his desk watching him play
I really enjoyed the storytelling of this video and the editing! Also, I miss the old dead hard animations and maps. Sometimes, I wish we had a game mode where we can go back to them for a bit to get memories again
Those exist. There are private servers that you can play dbd previous patches. Idk the details but I know they exist.
One reason I taught Coconut how to play Huntress was for moments like this.
Glad some of my tips helped out getting your revenge! 😃
I didn't just enjoy the video I loved this video. Watching them in this video made laugh hysterically at how salty he was.
9:40 Eyyy, it's a DaddyF1lth!
Started watching that guy recently. He seems pretty cool.
I really loved the editing, very nice job 👏
the way you structure these videos to create a whole ass three-act narrative is so good lmaooo

Bro you should've added that clip from the movie Scarface where it goes "You wanna fuck with me?" , just before the third time you faced him. That would've been hilarious
Nice to see Yerv in your lobby. He's a funny guy
Is your profile picture the political compass???
@@iusedthewiki3529 it is.
If I know people are going to be toxic at gate I don't even go to meet them there, I just go kick gens and stuff for BP until the game is over.
Really enjoying these longer storytelling videos
Absolutely fatherless behavior from that guy and his group, I bet they're all disappointments
I love your story tellling skills coconut! awesome vid

As a wise person once said, "Monetize your haters."
It’s crazy seeing older version of dbd with the different ui, pallets and a foggy esthetic
You need to continue with this style. I Don't know how you could do it but the story type video like this is a gold mine.
is nobody talking bout the non rewroked maps? Makes me so nostalgic
I'm a new subscriber and I've been enjoying these tours of videos. Good stuff!
Does anyone know the streamers name? I want to see his reactions to being downed in other matches
Narrating gameplay content is awesome. You're the only one doing it, amazing.
He seems like a genuinely skilled survivor, shame he has to have such a toxic attitude.
The streamer in question is just an awful person all the way around, so it's not surprising to have toxic in-game behavior.

Lol you know these type of people left when the game was balanced 😂

@@ruslansmirnov9006 speak for yourself
@@richt7525 every single console player ive ever played with has been shit at the game
Highly doubtful. Even Otz has countless videos of getting ran by console survivors.
@@youtubeuser84848 I'm not saying all console players are bad + it depends on what dbd queues you up with i'm just saying most console players suck including me. You probably just queued up with new console players.
You can be a "nice" killer and still win with 3-4 kills easily, as long as survivors *don't* genrush, you have good game sense and know how to apply pressure
Problem is, survivors are starting to genrush again after basic healing got nerfed in the latest patch, so unfortunately you can't be too nice nowadays if you want to get those kills
I love these types of videos! 10/10, would watch again :)
The most toxic streamer in dbd? So you went against Taller Toast?
Best way i found to explain why (imo) it's frowned upon to play sweaty (using strats that are detrimental to the game experience for others in the lobby) all the time is by comparing it to card counting at a friend's game night. Yeah you're going to win much more but it sucks for the rest at the table who just want to have fun playing a game.

i loved this video, but tbh the ending was so anticlimactic. i know you demonstrated it was almost virtually impossible to win a game against these guys, but resorting to facecamping the last dude didn’t seem like a very good resolution or “revenge”. not that they didn’t deserve it, i’m just saying it would have been so much cooler to have done it in a way that didn’t seem spiteful since you kept your cool throughout the video. bc facecamping is toxic and doesn’t really prove anything other than you resorting to toxic gameplay bc your ego is hurt. with that being said i still enjoyed the video and i know ur a good player. i’m glad you kept your attitude so positive despite the bitter ending they had coming to them(:
