I think that's the only way to beat kasparov, with little positional advantages and put him under pressure as much as you can. I also think that gary was not so accurate on the mid-game
Kasparov's body is always exhausted from the speed of his mind. The reason he takes so long is because he makes 1000s of calculations and moves simultaneously. It's insane.
for all who cant see kasparov went down to exchange, caruana managed to win a rook for a knight and after traping the knight kasparov resigned. this is a simple cometation the big one that is hard to be seen (even i cant see all of it) is when caruana piled up on the king side, that position makes this game a good game.
I like it when incompetent people here comment on the game like that was a bad move etc... no one here would have the slightest chance against Kasparov or Caruana.
idum you know, sometimes people just like to talk about the things: discuss the games, the opening line or the single move... it doesn’t mean they’re claiming to kick everyone around...
Now i'm looking for a comment that i read a few days ago which said something like "kasparov is still teaching kids" in reference to a match "Kasparov-Caruana", i'm going to show him this video.
Do not make a judgement based on a single match. Kasparov is the best chess player ever lived on Earth. He has retired from for a long time playing chess for fun and own entertainment. Caruana is an active player who is capable of maintaining his concentration for longer than the elderly Kasparov. Kasparov in his golden age was the number 1 for longer than anybody else in history of chess. Caruana is not even close. In todays chess computer analysation help player prepare. Chess is all about opening theories and computer made analysis. Human factor is in the background. Talented ones like Caruana etc benefit a lot but as Bobby Fischer said they killed the game itself. In chess knowledge i bet they still all have a lot to learn from Kasparov.
Yeah, good eye :) I saw it too and I though the browser stuck ... actually it is from 4:46 to 4:51 (last move was made by Caruana, he scartched his ear). Then at 4:51 Kasparov moved (on his chair). Do you know why? It was his turn, lol :))
@@metro6468 lousy is still too loaded. When Bill Gates talks about computer or software, everyone listen. When Kasparov plays chess, everyone watch (comment only if you are better than Kasparov)
I understand now, if he eat the pawn with the queen, the black with the rook make a jaque and then eat the pawn and the game is over, kasparov will be with only one knight

Kasparov plays classical music in his head, clearly too loud, while Caruana just imagines bigbird from sesame street. Thinking in terms like 'knight to e4..' is just way too slow and clumsy.
The last pawn move Caruana makes attacks Kasparov's knight, which is pinned to the Queen and cannot move, so the knight is lost and Kasparov doesn't stand a chance down an entire piece so he resigned.
@@wilsonrutherford7519 not quite, the knight is not pinned because the queen is protected by the a pawn. However, the knight has no safe square to move to, ironic because Kasparov did the same thing to Caruana;s knight on h4, yet did not have the time to capture it and the black knight eventually found an escape.
The sound is awesome
Really
exactly... always better than some "epic" bg music, lol :)
What sound?
Yes, I know this piece. It's name is 4'33: th-cam.com/video/JTEFKFiXSx4/w-d-xo.html
Even the way Kasparov left the table was blitz. Now this is commitment.
Schrantz taking notes in the background for his next video on the scotch opening :D
Imagine being Caruana, getting home and say, mom i just beat Garry Kasparov

I like when Gary holds his head with two hands 😂😂😂😂
Those Kasparov facial expressions are legendary
I truly respect Kasparov play
Joseph Barnes å ö
Caruana constantly applied the tactics of pinning, forcing Kasparov to move his major pieces to unfavourable squares.

What tge fuck are you talking about, In Blitz game it's 5 to 7 calculations max. In Classical it's around 30-40 with variations.
how come Kasparov always looks so anxious while playing..?
He is just bluffing but it did not work this time
Its hollywood i think
yah I like him
He is retired guys. Take easy.
Cuz chess is brain surgery, especially at their level.
Ahh single malt my favorite opening :).
Notice how Garry moved his paws to dark sports and got rid of the dark bishops
Wish there was sound...
Jonathan Schrantz and Mike Kummer!
even sir kasparov losed, I trust his' openning I love it.
In the thumbnail I thought Kasparov was laughing. It turned out to be an illusion!!

What is cometation?
Could someone tell me Why the man with the blue shirt moved the kings in middle 12:24 ?
I believe the way they place the kings after the game indicates who won, or if it was a draw. Two kings in the middle means draw, I think
It's the four center squares. The kings go on the winning colour. If it's a draw it's one on each colour
This my fav opening
It was smashed in the video 😂 is it still ur fav?
@Mukhtar Amin Kasparov was very successful with it in the 90s
Last move white d5f6 ?
Hello Jonathan!!! I see you🤗
Why kasparov didnt play c4 at the end to defend the knight?
We see you @VampireChicken in the back!

It doesnt mean that everybody has to shut up though!
Ok, we probably wouldn't, but it doesn't mean that they did not play at least one inaccuracy... your logic is clearly flawed
Cause you do know we have engines right
Great game Caruana
Why not queen d7 had it a couple times and never played it
I think because it will open the file for the black rocks and add nothing immediately to the attack.
Anybody had any successes playing that ...Qh4 line against strong/ very strong players?
10:21 Mike Kummer enters :)
Does rook takes pawn , queen takes rook and knight f3 translate to something?? In 9:17
step aside ladies and gents...we got a genius on our hands...
Can you bigger the board?
Where is the audio? 😐😐
no one spoke...what do u want to hear? the scratches of that guy's pen?
Who won the game? Did Kasparov resign?
Sanjeev Kumar what do u expect? His knight is trapped
This "Jew bastard Kasparov"?
Ao retirar o cavalo ele entregaria a Rainha. Desistiu da partida.
Carina
Fabiano Caruana won. Kasparov could not safe his knight
Nice Chess set but can't see the clock very well.
Quien ganó???
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
El gringo con nombre italiano
😂
Why do chess players stand up and leave so quick after the game ends????
They need to use the bathroom!
Why is the apect ratio like the one i use for CSGO?
So they're out of theory by move 8?
No you were out of theory by move 8
WHO WON
Can someone explain the final of the game? Why Kasparov lose?
needed to go and use toilet
At the end who wins
Kasparov is the Marcel Marceau of chess. He has an unlimited supply of goofy facial expressions and gestures to offer.
This old man was so nervous. You will never become world champion without strong mind!
Good 1 😂

Lousy opening path for Garry. His knight on b1 never took part in the game until it was too late.

That was intense
I like the commentators
caruana is just waiting for blunder. So all over the game he stay cool as possible. Don't take risk anymore.
dal profondo della mia ignoranza direi che quando kasparov ha fatto Ce3 doveva farlo col cavallo che era in d4 e non con quello che era in f1
Why Kasparov move his queen to b3 in the last move on the match?
I understand now, if he eat the pawn with the queen, the black with the rook make a jaque and then eat the pawn and the game is over, kasparov will be with only one knight
Bcoz his knight was trapped
Kasparov blundered. He sacrificed a knight and a rook for just a rook. Game over.

Garry resigned cause his knight on D5 got trapped

Damn, Kasparov got the hell out of there with a quickness. Is this how most grandmasters behave when they lose?

What does that have to do with his lack of sportsmanship? if you're retired you can behave like a child? that makes no sense.
he does the same when he wins
Unfortunately, yes, most of them. They don't even look each other in the eye when they shake hands, not even at the beginning of the match.
