I've had a really hard time at school. I'm the "new kid" & I'm often sitting by myself or just not talking. I was having a really hard time thinking that I just wasn't important enough for people to talk with. But then one day, this song came on the radio as I was going to school. That really hit me. & now school is getting SO much better& I come home a happier person. Just because I was reminded that no matter what I'm doing, I'm doing it for Christ. :)

Like Dan today I heard this by accident on a Christian radio while driving. I'm enduring family court matters where my baby's father who is disinterested in caring for my baby is wanting to take full decisionmaking ability away and custody wanting me to pay for child support. The first verse of this song made me cry instantly bc I've had to endure her care alone in all her 21 months of living. And yes, I have days wondering if this is worth it all this court trouble. For what ?? To simply confirm the amazing single SAHM that I am? God tells me in His Word that my child is a gift from Him and that I am to raise her up in His ways so when she becomes old enough, she will be able to walk with Him on her own 2 feet. I pray that everyday and I will ask those of you who read this to also please!
I just heard this song today accidentally on a Christian station in Los Angeles. I don't normally listen to Christian Stations but I'm learning..I'm hooked! I love the Vibe and the warmth!
Dude Steven Curtis Chapman has got some catchy music! I remember my mom’s friend would play K-Love all the time and his song “Dive” would come on and I would just JAM out to it! I couldn’t wait for it to come back on the radio again 😂

The first time I noticed the words "whatever you do, do all to the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31:) was thanks to american gymnast Gabby Douglas, who in 2012 Olympics, shared this beautiful passage in her twitter, just hours before the final. She won the Gold medal hours later, and she said "I give all the glory to God. It's kind of a win-win situation. The glory goes up to Him and the blessings fall down on me." She was just 16 years old!, and she's a woman of faith, not afraid of proclaiming the name of The Lord, not afraid of the Gospel, and happy to give al the glory to Him, since He gave it all for us.

I love it. I AM a born again housewife, mom of three, freelance writer. I play this song when I am so tired of laundry, floors, meals, taxi-driving....I don't find it condescending. And I DO need to be reminded even tho I KNOW everything I do matters to Him, I am human. Knowing and feeling are two different things. I have the verse posted on all my bathroom mirrors and above my kitchen sink - this song just helps me sing the message of the verse so I can trust in the knowledge of its truth.
Steven Curtis Chapman-I was at church today, and the pastor, Cochise, was talking about how he used to go out and preach, and afterward, you would come out and sing. I was so surprised he knew you! It's really amazing. He told me a story about how once, after he was done preaching, someone said "and now here's the man, Steven Curtis Chapman!" And you said "you just heard from the man!" Cochise said that was a real blessing :) thanks for your music. I really love it!

I like this song...it's just that MOST Christians do NOT do everything to the glory of God. Everytime they sin, is THAT to the glory of God? I no longer sin. God spoke to me and told me to write a book entitled "Fear God and Obey His Commands". I wrote that book and learned that sin is nothing more than a habit of disobedience. God has given us the command to resist the devil and he must flee, so stop sinning. He has provided a way out, all we have to do is apply some discipline to our lives. What do you think John the Baptist meant by "repent"? He meant to turn your back on sin forever. So do it!!
The funny thing is everytime I hear this song, and he says "sitting in math class", I am coincidentally doing math homework! Every time!
I first saw SCC at FOX theater, Atlanta, 1993. He had a cool dark puple topcoat, and the sound was unreal. I think this was the "sake of the call" tour. Anyways, he's always been authentic, down to earth, and a prodigy. Lately Ive been revisiting his music, along with Cheri Keaggy. Both of these two get me off my chair, and praising (in the midst of my own sufferings).

It’s a Sunday night of my junior in high school and i am taking some of the hardest classes imaginable. my relationship with God is struggling and i was in the middle of a mental breakdown. God told me to watch this video. The second the tune began and I heard the lyrics, my breathing began to settle and I became peaceful. Thank you again, truly, from deep within my heart.
This song helps me because sometimes I think I can do more for God if i was doing some more important role in life or at a higher position at my church and this song reminds me that it's all the same in Gods eyes and it's all the same and God does not judge us
