I am new to looming and found that all the videos I watched showed casting on but they made it seem that you just repeated that process over and over so I found myself casting on over and over!!! So my blanket never left the loom!!! Obviously I only had 4 rows of fabric on the pegs before I had no more room left! Again thank you for your video! you demonstrated what to do not only after casting on but what to do with the first and last pegs!
Wonderful question. Personally I skip (also called 'slip' ) the first peg of each row for anything flat. Unless it specified otherwise. It gives a nice look to the edge.
I'm still very new to knitting and using a loom. If I'm using a 6 weight bulky yarn should I use every other peg? And would I have to remove the pegs or can I just go around the skipped ones? Thanks!
