Roy Ziv - Leap Of Faith

'Leap oF faith' is very special to me because it was the first guitar song I ever wrote/released 3 years ago! The name came to me after I dozed off while listening to the final mix one night. As the song was playing, I dreamt that I was running through mountain tops and had to leap over a massive
gap between two cliffs. I immediately woke up and thought of the name Leap Of Faith, but It’s also a metaphor for my music career by switching paths from being a ghost writer/producer for EDM artists, to an
instrumental rock guitar player.
The intro rhythm progression to the song was written over 10 years, and I could never figure out a melody that fit over the rhythm perfectly. The odd time signature at the beginning always through me off. Once i came up with initial melody, the rest of the song was written in a few weeks.
I knew this was going to be my first release into the guitar world 3 years ago, so I wanted something fun, powerful, melodic, and something where I could show all the skills I learned playing guitar my entire life haha.
My newer songs don't have as much flashiness and 'shred', but this song will always be very special to me. So here it is - once again - a re-upload of my first every release, Leap Of Faith! Enjoy :)
