Thanks!! For me it's definitely the Digitone ... THE elektron ambient machine and still my favorite device. But of course it's only my perspective ...

That really depends on a lot of factors. FOR ME the answer would be easy and clear... I could live without the Syntakt but NOT without the Digitone. But I didn't realize that before I got the Digitone.

Can I ask you how you have recorded everything for the mastering? Have you just recorded the master from both of the machines or you recorded track by track?! Would you like to explain it please? Thank in advance :))
Thanks !! The Digitakt runs through the Syntakt and I recorded the stereo out. Then I did the mastering of the stereo file in Ableton. That's it.

Amazing music bro! If you were me with a digitakt would you rather pair it with the tone or the syntakt? what do you like about each?
It's really impossible to say without knowing you, your way of working, your preferences, your music. I'm also biased in this regard as the Digitone is still my absolute favourite. Much more versatile and deeper than the Syntakt in my eyes. But the Synatkt is also very inspiring and direct because of its simplicity. Short answer ... If you are more interested in drums - Syntakt. If you're looking for a synthesizer - Digitone
@@substan_music thanks a lot for your reply. I realized I didn't give you a lot to go off by but your answer was assured me that i made the right purchase. I bought a DN for that exact reason, wanted more of a synth engine thats a deeper machine. syntakt is cool but more overlap for me with a DT. plus the DT is crazy already...

Just the two ... All I recorded was a stereo channel (Digitakt through Syntakt). But I mastered the track in Ableton with some plugins.

What software did you used for the rotoscopic effect ? 🤔
Thanks !! I didn't do the animations myself. I mainly used videos from pixabay and Beeble. I then made the video in Ableton with Videosync. This allows you to work with videos as if they were audio or midi clips. Simply amazing ... unfortunately only for mac.

I didn't find the Sintack's sound interesting enough... until I saw this video. It's admirable how you get the best out of each gear. Especially the people at Elektron should send you gifts every week ;-)
At first glance, the syntakt is not very deep and exciting. I agree. But it is very direct, intuitive and just sounds great.
So great. The darkness develops so well.
