All 3 major manufacturers (IC, parent company NAVISTAR INTERNATIONAL; Bluebird, independent; and Thomasbuilt, parent company FREIGHTLINER) offer the ISB 6.7L as an engine option. IC CEs 3rd gen and newer (yet to be released, that will be 2023. I have seen the prototypes. They're based off INTERNATIONAL's LV chassis) will only offer ISB as opposed to having PSI 8.8L. Bluebird will continue to provide ISBs as the default option for their Vision line, however the Ford Godzilla 7.3L V8 (a monster of a big block pushrod engine aka old design meeting new tech) is also an option. Thomasbuilt will also continue providing ISBs in new C2s, however the Detroit Diesel DD5 is also an option. This only applies to Type Cs and doesn't apply to Type Ds such as the EFX (as far as I'm aware. Correct me if I'm wrong.) Each manufacturer has their own variant of it, so we really don't know which one you have :)
Wow so do you want power or fuel economy. I'll take fuel economy. The old macks had 237 hp and they moved the country these have plenty of power Also you do realize whoever bought these can neuter them right? Like rider and u haul. It's a computer just like limited speed
I'd also take fuel economy, but it sounds like you are missing the point of the commentary. I have never driven a truck this large before and was just offering commentary on how it drove. It was actually quite fun having something so slow that makes this kind of noise. Only thing it really could of needed was less steering slop.
Mmmm the school bus I ride has a higher HP variant and the wine is much louder and a bit less high pitched. Take a look th-cam.com/video/0FDeELUvSEI/w-d-xo.html
All the school buses in my district ranging from 2013-2021 have those engines

So it sounds similar to its ISB6.7 counterpart
